Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2341: Chapter 1775: Traveling to Beijing

Han He also received an invitation from the business department early on, with a deputy director-level person meeting him in person.

Although their position didn’t seem high, the department they belonged to was special, and their status was incomparable to others at the same level.

By the time he received the official letter, Han He had already made all the preparations for the trip.

As the number of travelers was regulated, each entrepreneur could bring a maximum of two accompanying personnel. In the end, Han He gave one spot to his son. After all, it was an exceptionally rare opportunity to connect with many top domestic entrepreneurs, learn, become familiar, expand connections and communicate with foreign businesspeople to broaden one’s horizon.

Although Han He was extremely harsh and strict with his son, deep down he hoped for him to grow, quickly grasp the family business, expand and strengthen it, and bring glory to the family.

Upon receiving the letter and before setting off for the gathering in Huajing, Han He earnestly instructed Han Zizhi with several admonitions.

”This time, you are traveling with me, and the place we’re going to is unlike the past. Among those traveling with us, not a single one has a lower status or capability than mine, and there are many leaders from relevant departments, so you must be cautious in words and actions. If you’re uncertain, it’s better to remain silent than to speak and cause trouble, do you understand?”

From the start, Han He sternly warned him.

Han Zizhi, although an adult, a mature businessman, and an entrepreneur with modest achievements, was being advised like a child, yet he dared not express any grievances. At this moment, he nodded like a woodpecker, behaving more obediently than a primary school student.

”Rest assured, even if I had a hundredfold courage, I wouldn’t dare offend anyone on this trip. When it comes to speaking or acting, I will only bring glory to you and our family.” Han Zizhi was eager to guarantee it.

Han He was satisfied with Han Zizhi’s attitude, nodded, and continued, ”This time, we will encounter that Bai Xiaosheng again. Previously, he made you lose face and made me very angry. However, now we’ve pressured his new business significantly, he might hold hostility. I will converse with him; do not interrupt. Whatever I say, even if it’s excessive, it’s okay since I’m on equal footing with him. As for you, refrain from being overly arrogant, otherwise, it will be hard for me to handle the aftermath.”

These words weren’t as solemn and earnest as before but seemed more like offhand advice.

”Refrain from being ’overly’ arrogant,” implied that he could still mock the surnamed Bai a bit...

That’s how Han Zizhi understood it.

Suddenly, Han Zizhi felt a sense of eager anticipation.

To openly mock Bai Xiaosheng, he indeed felt an irresistible itch.

The surnamed Bai had embarrassed him in front of his friends, and now he could finally get his revenge.

Subsequently, Han He instructed him on other matters, and Han Zizhi readily agreed, repeatedly assuring that no issues would arise.

That day, the Han father and son duo took a flight to Huajing.

By the time the father and son arrived at the relevant department in Huajing, it was already 5 p.m.

The deputy director-level person who had previously met Han He personally received them and arranged for someone to take them to their accommodation.

The arranged lodging was a mountain-side and water-front hotel located within the second ring of Huajing, with an exceptionally serene and elegant environment, specially designed to host guests. Half of it was also a high-standard sanatorium.

In such a place, it wasn’t about grandeur, but the deep and solemn atmosphere that made people unconsciously hold their breath and feel awe.

First by car, then on foot.

While walking there, Han Zizhi felt that every plant exuded solemnity and uniqueness.

Along the way, they encountered many simply dressed elders. Regardless of whether they were leading the way or it was the Han father and son, they all smiled politely and nodded in greeting.

It’s possible that any of them was an eminent figure deserving great respect.

”Young man, may I ask, of the business figures traveling with us, who has already arrived?” After walking some distance, Han He, noticing no one around, smiled and amiably asked the young guide.

The guide smiled back, replied courteously, ”There are already over thirty people here, including Mr. Lu Yun of Tengyun Group, Mr. Jia Chengshan of the Jia Group, Miss Dong Tianlu of Beifeng Holdings, Mr. Lu Tiandao of Wanhu Group, Mr. Wang Xuantian of Haoyu Group, and business representatives from Xianggang and other places, such as Mr. Lin Tianyi of Lin Corporation and Mr. Hong Chengtian of Hong Enterprise...”

Upon hearing more than a dozen renowned names, each a prominent figure in their domain.

Han He’s eyes brightened, listening with a smile and nodding.

Han Zizhi felt even more excited and expectant. These names represented almost half of the Huaxia business community’s elite. Establishing good relations or simply familiarizing himself with them would be immensely beneficial for his future.

”I didn’t expect so many business friends to be here, many of whom are old friends. Zizhi, in a while, you should accompany me to pay them a visit,” Han He couldn’t help but laugh.

”Yes, Father!” Han Zizhi replied respectfully.

From that moment on, Han Zizhi felt the need to always be mindful of his words and actions; it was time to demonstrate his excellent upbringing and outstanding family education.

Han He nodded in satisfaction, then softly asked the young man again, ”Young man, may I inquire about another person?”

”Sure,” the young man responded with a smile.

”Has Bai Xiaosheng, the Executive President of the Greater China Region of Zhenbei Group, joined this trip, and has he arrived yet?” Han He inquired.
