Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 952: Chapter 952: Since It’s Like This

At this time, in Dafeng City, not in the same province as Yunhai, inside the most luxurious villa in the local villa area, the number one villa.

In the study, two men were sitting opposite each other, drinking tea and chatting.

These two men, one with a square face, seemed quite authoritative, with a robust build. The other had round cheeks and was somewhat portly, with a temperament more reminiscent of a nouveau riche.

The man with the square face was Yu Qifeng, the father of Yu Zhongtian and head of Qifeng Group.

The chubby man was Song Yao’s father, currently the largest shareholder of Qifeng Group, Song Zhe.

”This time, sending the two kids to Yunhai was partly for business, but I also thought it would be good for the young people to have fun together and take a vacation,”

Yu Qifeng poured more tea for Song Zhe, smiling, ”Both kids are not young anymore. It’s time for their wedding.”

”Haha, indeed! Old Yu, I want to hold a grandson, and so do you,” Song Zhe laughed heartily. ”However, I only have this precious daughter. When it comes to having children, shouldn’t one of them carry the Song family name? Don’t worry, I won’t let you lose out. Just agree to this small request of mine. From now on, whatever you say in the group, I will definitely support you.”

Song Zhe even patted his chest.

Yu Qifeng chuckled, ”Well, it’s not for you and me to decide. We have to ask the kids, see if they are willing to have two.”

Naturally, Yu Qifeng did not want his descendants to carry someone else’s name, but at this moment, as Song Zhe was the company’s largest shareholder, he had to be courteous.

Yu Qifeng’s reply seemed to respect the children’s opinions, but in reality, it was also a way of deflecting.

”Once they come back, I’ll ask. If those two rascals don’t agree, see if I don’t sort them out,” Song Zhe grunted dominantly.

He was a speculative businessman, with average deportment. Phrases like ”those two rascals” came easily to him.

Even if Yu Qifeng cursed, it was only internally. This was a difference in cultivation.

This was also why Yu Qifeng was reluctant to entrust his grandchildren to Song Zhe’s care.

Who knows what they would turn into!

”They have to come back first,” Yu Qifeng said with a smile, holding his cup of tea and taking a sip.

The study’s door was knocked on hurriedly twice, then pushed open directly. Someone rushed in, saying, ”Dad, Uncle Song, I’m back.”

”Pfft.”

Yu Qifeng almost spit his tea on Song Zhe’s face.

Yu Zhongtian had come back?

His return... was quite timely!

His son couldn’t have already compromised with his future father-in-law, could he?

Yu Qifeng set his cup down, and Song Zhe also looked over, surprised, ”Zhongtian? My dear girl? How did you come back!”

Yu Zhongtian and Song Yao had returned without prior notice; firstly, because it was not necessary, and secondly, to avoid worrying if their fathers were not free.

Upon arriving home, Yu Zhongtian found that both his father and Song Zhe were present, and that both were uncharacteristically free today.

Hence, he had rushed over with Song Yao to discuss their situation directly.

”Why so soon? What about Yunhai...” Yu Qifeng looked at Yu Zhongtian and Song Yao’s uneasy faces, his own expression changing slightly. He set down his teacup and asked, ”Is there a problem?”

”Wasn’t that already taken care of? What else could go wrong there?” Song Zhe could not help interjecting.

”Exactly, I went with Zhongtian, and we were humiliated there,” Song Yao stomped her foot, looking utterly wronged. ”Uncle Yu, Dad, you have to stand up for us... no, no, wrong, our Qifeng Group was humiliated, massively! You can’t delay any longer, we need to deal with those bastards now!”

Issues really arose!

Yu Qifeng and Song Zhe exchanged a stunned look and beckoned the two children to sit down and explain the situation.

Yu Zhongtian and Song Yao immediately and in detail described their experiences in Yunhai.

Of course, they naturally wouldn’t depict their own embarrassing behaviors, and in their dear fathers’ eyes, their children were always the epitome of modest gentlemen and graceful ladies, incapable of unbecoming behavior. They could only be bullied by those seasoned office politicians!

Thus, as Yu Zhongtian and Song Yao vividly elaborated, Yu Qifeng and Song Zhe imagined ”the ugly faces of the adversaries” and ”the injustices the children endured”...

When discussing Han Dong and Yunhai Enterprise Federation’s attitudes, Song Zhe slapped the sturdy coffee table so hard that it almost cracked.

”Old Yu, you heard that, right? I said, forget about any ’dividing and treating’. You talk strategy to me? What use are those fancy tricks! Just altogether take down these bastards. I see, power is the truth, the bigger the fist, the sounder the reason. Look, you gave them a good face, and see how they repaid us!” Song Zhe roared.

The color on Yu Qifeng’s face also darkened.

”These guys, that’s not all!” Yu Zhongtian glanced at Song Yao, ”They even found a ringleader from somewhere!”

Yu Zhongtian and Song Yao took turns describing Bai Xiaosheng, even fabricating many insults they claimed he hurled at them and at Qifeng Group.

Yu Qifeng and Song Zhe also listened with increasing shock and anger.

”He even said, he would not allow our Qifeng Group to enter Yunhai, or else, he would ensure we would not return!” Yu Zhongtian illustrated dramatically, his expression far more domineering and arrogant than Bai Xiaosheng’s ”original” demeanor.

But seeing this expression and hearing these words, Song Zhe shook with rage.

”Not only is this person overbearing, his followers are just as arrogant. They insult me, and they even intend to beat me!” Song Yao looked miserably at her own father.

”Scoundrels, scoundrels! Old Yu, listen to this, they dare to bully my daughter! We can’t tolerate this any longer!” Song Zhe bellowed, and with one palm strike, the lid of the teacup jumped up.

Yu Qifeng was deep in thought, startled by this sudden outburst.

However, he did not calm Song Zhe down but merely straightened the lid of the teacup.

”You mentioned, Mayor Chu’s secretary also went there? Was he trying to meddle in this affair? In the end, he just left without addressing it?” Yu Qifeng always felt something was amiss, ”What was his attitude towards that young man!”

Yu Qifeng was able to build such a large group, he naturally wasn’t simple.

He would never miss any detail.

”Secretary Song just didn’t want to get involved in this conflict. He told us to resolve it ourselves, meaning, no matter how we deal with those enterprises, they would not intervene!” Yu Zhongtian explained to his father based on this understanding.

”Uncle Yu, are you concerned about that young man’s background? I think you’re worrying too much! Didn’t you see? The people dining with him ranged from big to small businesses, people who network all sorts of fish and dragons. How powerful can his background be!”

Song Yao said, ”Besides, you can’t possibly delay actions on Yunhai’s side just because you suspect he is not simple. I may not understand business, but I know opportunities are fleeting!”

”Exactly, Dad, if that young man really was some incredible figure, then Secretary Song wouldn’t have left without a word but would have favored him instead.” Yu Zhongtian hurriedly said.

He had been furious all the way here, desperate for revenge.

”Old Yu, why are you dilly-dallying!” Song Zhe was extremely impatient.

With the three of them speaking like this, and Yu Qifeng not having a clear picture of the details, he had to put his musings aside.

Song Yao’s words were correct, opportunities are fleeting, and the losses from hesitating, he had experienced them before, otherwise Song Family wouldn’t have become the largest shareholder of his enterprise!

”Old Song, let’s convene a shareholders’ meeting tomorrow noon and strive to get approval within two days!”

Once Yu Qifeng made a decision, he was resolute, ”Since that’s the case, we will dominate the market first!”
