Transmigrated as The Best Female Character of the Year

”Why don’t the six of us team up?” Melody Monroe suggested.

”Great idea!” Everyone gathered around, since they didn’t really have any other choice but to stick together.

...

The production team was currently filming the free-for-all team formation.

Some teams sat down to take stock of their supplies, while others were busy getting to know each other.

The cameras captured all of these scenes.

This was the sight that greeted those watching the livestream.

By this point, the on-screen comments were already flooding in.

The number of people watching the livestream also grew from just over ten thousand at the beginning to several hundred thousand.

”This show seems super wild! I love it!”

”It’s a Jansburg East Satellite TV production, so you can trust it’ll be good! I think this show is amazing! It’s really captivating—at least it’s got me hooked. I’m definitely going to keep watching.”

”Am I seeing things? Melody Monroe is actually on a show like this!”

”I’m here for Melody Monroe! I’m also watching ’Warm Wind’ right now, and it’s so heartbreaking!”

”Here for Melody Monroe +1!”

”Go, Melody!”

”Oh my god! Melody didn’t even draw a tent! What rotten luck! Just like mine.”

”Melody Monroe’s group doesn’t have a tent. This is an outdoor show; things are probably going to get difficult without one.”

The online audience was watching the drama unfold with great excitement.

Meanwhile, Melody Monroe and her group were also in a very lively discussion.

The six of them had already introduced themselves to one another.

To Melody Monroe’s surprise, all of them already knew who she was, which made things a little awkward for her.

The group consisted of two young men who had just turned twenty, Shaun Owen and Jenson Yates, and three young women: Cynthia Jacobs, Nana Owen, and Yvonne Lewis.

”Melody, why don’t you be our team leader?” Nana Owen suggested.

She was a singer who had debuted on a talent show. Now, she often sang in short videos but hadn’t officially entered the entertainment industry.

”Yeah, Melody, you should be the leader,” Yvonne Lewis agreed.

She was an internet celebrity who had long been signed with Jansburg East Television.

”We should let one of the guys be the leader,” Melody Monroe said, looking at the two young men beside her.

The two young men were dressed quite stylishly. One wore a clean, casual white shirt, while the other was in a tracksuit. All in all, both were bright and handsome.

”No, no, no, we couldn’t possibly. You should do it,” the two said, immediately waving their hands in refusal.

”Don’t worry, we’ll be united as one!” Cynthia Jacobs said, holding out her hand.

Everyone immediately put their hands on top of hers, and the group looked at Melody Monroe in unison.

Melody Monroe placed her hand on top as well. ”Alright, I’ll be the team leader. If there’s anything I’m not doing well, I hope you’ll all let me know immediately.”

The others immediately nodded, and they all shouted their slogan in unison: ”United as one!”

A camera happened to pan in their direction just then.

Hearing how lively they were, it lingered for a little while longer.

When the other groups heard them shouting a slogan, they started chanting their own slogans one after another.

”Will the team leaders please come forward.”

As soon as she heard the call, Melody Monroe immediately stood up.

”The six teams will go to different filming locations. Once the teams are finalized, a dedicated camera crew will follow each one. Each team will also have its own livestream channel. The channel’s popularity ranking and support count will be converted into points,” the director announced, reading from the rules.

”Now, you will draw lots to determine each team’s destination.”

The moment Melody Monroe heard the words ”draw lots,” she felt a headache coming on.

’With my rotten luck, I’m probably not going to draw a good location.’
