Emperor’s Domination

“Wasn’t an auctioneer before, just a scout from the villainous heaven.” Li Qiye smiled.

“Just for the tribulations, it’s so unexpected that the scout decided to self-slay. The villainous heaven was also likely shocked, betrayed by himself.” The skull laughed.

“The world is so beautiful, that’s why he wanted to stay and live as an inhabitant.” Li Qiye said sentimentally.

“Beautiful when there are so many bastards among you mortals? So filthy and disgusting with your emotions and desires.” The skull disagreed.

“And now you all have them too.” Li Qiye smiled.

“Hmph.” The skull replied: “How optimistic, severing the tribulation self. That’s easier said than done.”

“It wasn’t clean, hence the need to suppress himself.” Li Qiye nodded.

“But you know.” The skull was somewhat impressed: “The guy was something else, cognizant of the item and making a deal with the ghost for it. The ghost himself couldn’t redeem it yet he pulled it off.”

“Yes, used it to seal the incomplete severing. He could finally go and live peacefully as an ordinary mortal.” Li Qiye said.

“A smelly mortal.” The skull shook.

“Don’t forget I’m just a mortal too but you insist on staying in my smelly pocket.” Li Qiye joked.

“If you’re a mortal, what are we?” The skull snapped back.

“I will revert to being a mortal, nothing more.” Li Qiye smiled.

“You are shedding your form.” The skull said.

“That’s one way to put it.” Li Qiye smiled.

“You can do it anytime, he already has. Is there anyone else in Heavenrealm? Probably not.” The skull murmured.

“Well, no, there shouldn’t be any in theory.” Li Qiye smiled.

“So it’s down to you two, either kill each other first or work together and take down the villainous heaven.” The skull said.

“No rush, that’s way later.” Li Qiye said.

“Yes, the pests first, but how long? Why not finish the villainous heaven first and then deal with them?” The skull asked.

“That would only work if I seek replacement.” Li Qiye said.

“I see, going to run after finishing the heaven.” The skull said: “How many are there? Maybe I will help you a bit after I am back.”

“Not that many, really, since they’re immortals.” Li Qiye smiled.

“So you went all in from the start, wiped out a whole bunch of us primordial immortals.” The skull said.

“I owed it to the villainous heaven, trapping them all in that place.” Li Qiye said.

“Tch, if everyone had come ashore instead of frolicking in the marsh, that couldn’t have worked.” The skull grumbled, still bitter about the villainous heaven.

“A group together is easy to deal with, it’s the scattered ones that are problematic.” Li Qiye didn’t argue.

“Since you’ve experienced primordial immortals, how many are above us?” The skull asked for more information.

“Very few, depends on how they’re hiding.” Li Qiye smiled.

“Is that why you trained so many disciples, needing more thugs?” The skull asked.

“I wanted to leave the people’s fate to them.” Li Qiye shook his head.

“Heh, in the end, it will still be immortals who decide everything, and not your average immortals either.” The skull sneered.

“Do you know why I had to take all of you out?” Li Qiye smiled.

“Because there were too many of us. If we were ever let loose, it would be game over for anyone, stronger than us or otherwise.” The skull said confidently.

“Yes, truly disastrous. Even the few who believe they can suppress everything would be gnawed to death by that group.” Li Qiye said.

“No kidding.” The skull said with a hint of pride: “We would swarm and devour them in one go, regardless of their cultivation. We are unique and relentless.”

“What are you so proud of? You didn’t do these things.” Li Qiye said.

“Sure, I wasn’t a devourer but was still born in the primordial, of course I have to uphold the honor and pride of our race.” The skull said.

“Ultimately, it’s different, even for those who reach the primordial level.” Li Qiye said: “Even for a disciple trained by you with a legacy item.”

“That’s why you took us out, devious from the very start with that oldest primordial light.” The skull said: “The ones in Heavenrealm might be stronger than us but they aren’t as tenacious and unkillable. You wanted to take as many of us down as possible to remove future complications.”

“Stop saying us, you weren’t included.” Li Qiye shook his head.

“Hah, if we hadn’t agreed to help, we would have died before them.” The skull said.

“It’s true that despite not reaching the other shore, all of you were immensely hard to kill. Even though Heavenrealm has a realm known as primordial immortals as well, they aren’t as durable in comparison.” Li Qiye said.

“And above us?” The skull was interested in this topic.

“It would be the celestial immortals.” Li Qiye said.

“What is this crap?” The skull wasn’t happy.

“They are molded from life and death experiences, capable of challenging the villainous heaven.” Li Qiye said.

“Please, they would be nothing if we reach the other shore. They have no chance of killing the villainous heaven, there are only two candidates, you and him.” The skull said.

“Hard to say because vision is blurred beneath the shadow.” Li Qiye smiled and shook his head.

“Don’t forget I came from the primordial. Even if the shadow is what you think, I don’t think he can defeat the villainous heaven.” The skull said.

“Possibly.” Li Qiye smiled.

“Not possibly. What’s a shadow? Something requiring a true body. If the villainous heaven is no longer around, will the shadow still be there?” The skull asked.

“What if it is?” Li Qiye smiled.

“That might be why a few are having an alliance and sneaking in there.” The skull said: “Damn, if we had known about this fun game, we would have reached the shore and joined, it’s more fun than eating.”

“Well, Sword Immortal and the old man had a chance.” Li Qiye smiled.

“Looking down on us? We can do the same too, we fear no one except our own.” The skull said.

“Really?” Li Qiye smirked.

“Okay, fine, the villainous heaven and then you two, that’s it. We can easily kill the brats.” The skull said.

“Can you find them though?” Li Qiye asked.

“Bah, you insects are so treacherous, always concocting plans.” The skull said.

Li Qiye ignored him and walked toward World City.
