Emperor’s Domination

“Very well, we agree.” Left and Right nodded: “What should we do now?”

“Take out your well.” Li Qiye said.

The two complied, whether willingly or otherwise.

He took a deep breath and glowed brightly with primordial strands. Primordial veins appeared within him, forming countless universes from all timelines.

Thus, the strongest gods and immortals were only small parts of his body, utterly insignificant.

He pulled out the weakest and tiniest vein from his body. Cracking noises sound as if bones were broken.

He trembled but maintained his composure despite the unbearable agony. He then sent the strand down the well.

It broke into particles, seemingly starting a new world beneath. As he raised his hand, Splendor Monarch became ethereal.

While he was startled, Li Qiye gathered his three souls, seven spirits, dao heart, and memories into the primordial strand. It tied everything together in a bundle.

Once he regained his wits, he had a primordial glow around him as well. Although it was as weak as a flickering candle, it couldn’t be extinguished by a violent storm.

“This is...” Splendor Monarch trembled, aware of the significance.

“Since you won’t get the primordial will, I’ll still give you a little something.” Li Qiye sipped his cup of tea.

‘Lil’ bastard, no one asked you.’ Splendor Monarch kept the remark to himself this time.

“Is this enough?” Li Qiye asked Left and Right.

“Yes, yes, it’s plenty.” The two nodded.

“There shouldn’t be any problem returning to Heavenrealm.” Li Qiye smiled.

“How do we find you later?” They asked.

“No need. One day, something will appear and you will know what to do then.” Li Qiye shook his head.

“We understand.” The two took a deep breath and nodded solemnly, accepting the deal.

“Be ready since you might have to set out at any moment.” Li Qiye stood up and told them.

“We will.” They had a serious expression.

“Goodbye, old man.” Li Qiye patted Splendor Monarch’s shoulder.

“Bah, I’m me, not your old man.” He sneered.

“That’s true. Do try to preserve your lifespan.” Li Qiye said with a smile before leaving.

“Who cares about that? Only luxury!” He shouted but Li Qiye kept walking.

“Brat, you have to learn how to be better to yourself instead of just suffering.” He shouted again.

Who knows if Li Qiye heard him before disappearing?

“Wait for me! Can’t you wait a little?!” As Li Qiye was leaving Old World for Heaven World, a skull gave chase.

“What’s the hurry, I’m going to break my legs trying to catch up.” The skull heaved for breath.

“You don’t have legs.” Li Qiye shook his head.

“Use your imagination and it’s metaphorical, I chased you across the ocean. Why didn’t you wait for me?” The skull said.

“Why should I?” Li Qiye smiled.

“You dug me out for a reason, it’s to take me along with you.” The skull glared at him without eyes.

“Want to be my follower, I see.” Li Qiye smiled.

“You ruined my last shelter, where else can I go? It’s dangerous everywhere so I have to tag along.” The skull became annoyed.

“For better or worse, you’re still a primordial immortal. Have some dignity.” Li Qiye smiled.

“I’m no primordial saint now, only a skull.” The skull said.

“Really want to abandon everything?” Li Qiye asked.

“Of course, the past is the past.” The skull declared and could have patted its chest if it had one.

“You still have treasures and ace cards in your lair and secret realms that make the three springs seem trivial. You’re leaving them?” Li Qiye asked.

“Sigh, I would be lying to say I’m not tempted to bring them. We’re not like the ravenous scoundrels, we stored up to prepare for the winter.” The skull said: “I could use them to start over again and it wouldn’t be bad at all.”

“Hence my question.” Li Qiye said.

“I’ve thought about what you said. You are letting go of yourself and so is he. My treasures are nothing compared to the two of you. Plus, it wasn’t easy to die and have the shackles removed, so why not start over from the very beginning again?” The skull said.

“A new beginning might not be a good one. Some die before smelling any success.” Li Qiye said.

“Then it will be a clean death, no more lingering like a specter.” The skull said, “I’ve lived long

And for what, might as well try it your way and go out with a bang.”

“And not much to do here in Three Immortals.” Li Qiye said.

“That’s why I’m getting a ride with you.” The skull laughed.

“Didn’t someone say they have no interest in Heavenrealm?” Li Qiye stroked his chin.

“That was then, this is now. Times have changed and I’ve been reborn.” The skull shook.
