Emperor’s Domination

“Not particularly difficult at all.” Li Qiye smiled.

“Heh, then why would you need someone else to do it?” Splendor Monarch didn’t buy it.

“I can’t handle everything. For example, is brewing tea difficult for you?” Li Qiye answered with a question.

“Of course not.” He grumbled, aware of the logic.

“Then why don’t you brew it yourself?” Li Qiye raised his tea cup with a smile.

“Hmph, not applicable.” He said.

“But it’s the truth.” Li Qiye said.

“So what is it exactly?” Left asked.

“What are we releasing?” Right asked.

“You two have been there so this should be familiar.” Li Qiye said.

“Is that where we think it is?” They asked.

“Yes.” Li Qiye nodded.

“No way.” Splendor Monarch said. Left and Right had told him about it so he refused: “One misstep means certain death.”

“You brothers are so close.” Li Qiye sipped his tea patiently.

“It’s suicidal.” He shook his head.

“No one is an idiot here, one wrong move and we’ll be reduced to ashes.” The two agreed.

“But you’re not ashes right now.” LI Qiye said.

“Hmm...” The two exchanged glances before replying: “Of course, no one is as stealthy as we can, we can be a rock for 80 million years, that’s our gift.”

“Then there we go, it’s just another trip there, not difficult at all.” Li Qiye said.

“Wasn’t difficult.” Left said.

“Yes.” Right agreed: “It’s just another trip, we know the way.”

“That’s precisely why it’ll be more dangerous. There will be preparation to kill you.” Splendor Monarch said.

“Really? Maybe, we did take away something last time.” Left said.

“Say, a mortal who is afraid of you stole something. Would this mortal try again for a second time?” Li Qiye smiled.

“Only a fool would return.” Right contemplated before answering.

“Yes, I wouldn’t try again.” Left said.

“Then do you think he would be prepared for a second return? Without my asking, would you two be going back there?” Li Qiye asked.

“No.” They answered in unison.

“See, then they will not expect it at all, it’ll be so easy.” Li Qiye said.

“I don’t see a problem, we can go again.” Right said.

“Seems so.” Left contemplated carefully and agreed with taking a chance.

“You two took 80 million years the last time, can you wait this long again?” Splendor Monarch shook his head.

“Wait, we did take that long.” Right told Li Qiye.

“We can’t do another 80 million years.” Left said.

“It won’t be as long since you’re experienced.” Li Qiye said.

“Still not enough time if it’s shorter.” Splendor Monarch found this unreasonable.

“Don’t worry, I have plenty of time, just missing some deliverers.” Li Qiye said.

“So what are we delivering?” Left and Right asked.

“I will let you know when the time is right. It’s good stuff though, might even save your lives.” Li Qiye smiled.

“This is something treacherous or he would have done it himself.” Splendor Monarch said.

“As I’ve said, this is no different than brewing tea for me. It’s just that I don’t want to do everything, not to mention this being the payment of my win-win-win plan.” Li Qiye said.

“Then what do you want me to do? What do you get out of this from me?” Splendor Monarch asked.

“Nothing, to both answers.” Li Qiye stared at him briefly before smiling.

“Little bastard, are you looking down on me?! Calling me useless?! I see, you only care about these two from the very start.” Splendor Monarch cursed.

“Don’t be so vulgar and be nicer to me too. I have countless methods to get this done but we’re talking about a triple-win situation here. I have to win too.” Li Qiye said: “Moreover, I’m a sentimental person. I’m not the emotionless supreme yet, just a passersby.”

“Hmph.” Splendor Monarch snorted but didn’t argue this time.

“Of course, if you want to do something for me, I can make it work.” Li Qiye said.

“Hmph, just say the words.” Splendor Monarch turned his head toward another direction.

“Just enjoy your luxurious life to the end since it is your original pursuit. Enjoy life enough for the both of us.” Li Qiye sighed.

“I got it. You can teach me other things but when it comes to living luxuriously, I don’t need your guidance.” Splendor said proudly.

“It’s a deal then.” Li Qiye clapped and smiled.

“Little bastard.” Splendor Monarch glared at him and swallowed a few words.

They were men and certain sentimental things were understood without words.
