Emperor’s Domination

A dream engulfed Sea of Heavenly Sin with increased intensity. It flowed with time and seemed to be no different than reality.

Whether one’s body or soul was in the dream, dying there meant dying permanently. On the contrary, fortunes obtained in the dream remained as well.

The news of this realistic dream spread across Old World. The behemoths and their primal ancestors and heaven slayers rushed to the region.

As more visited, they found the dreams to be real, no different than the events unraveling in Old World. The laws had changed entirely.

In other words, someone created a true world via dreams - something unimaginable. Top cultivators could use their power to create a heavenly grotto from treasures and materials.

However, the dreams came out of nowhere. No one knew what power or item made them into reality.

In a particular dream, a vine demon grew insanely, turning into a monarch blotting out the sky. Each leaf was the size of an island. This blessing persisted after he woke up.

Another was lucky enough to dream and experience a similar phenomenon. He wore divine armor like a celestial being capable of commanding a godly army. He remained lucid throughout the dream and woke up on purpose. When he opened his eyes, he still had his unbreakable armor set.

Some saw incredible things in the dream - the kingdom of a supreme being, the reincarnation cycle in the form of a spring...

All in all, emperors and desolate gods entered the fog. Some played it safe by merely sleeping but others delved in directly. In reality, either method had the same result since dying in the dream was still death in real life.

Adventurers began searching for mysteries and fortunes. Someone found a village where gold represented authority and prosperity. When one had enough gold, they would obtain a golden tree and be able to transform into a giant.

Many were attracted to the village, wanting to gather more gold to become stronger.

Time flowed faster in the dream world. “Boom!” Someone obtained a massive tree. The leaves released golden light along with the sounds of a deer.

“Alch-deer Emperor found the ultimate gold and became an overlord.” This news traveled.

The dream world seemed to be endless. Not all found fortunes immediately and needed to make it through the empty expanses and deserts.

Some came across paradises or realistic regions to find nothing. It was no different than a stroll in the outside world.

The village of gold was one exception where fortunes were plentiful.

“How do we get more gold?” Someone asked.

“The simplest way is to dig, the more gold, the greater the fortune. After a certain quantity, you will get a golden tree capable of absorbing gold from the ground.” A big shot explained.

Gold brought from the outside world had no effect while the gold found within was only useful in the village. No one could break this rule right now.

Another area of note was Paramount. Unlike Gold Village where luck played a huge factor, Paramount relied on one’s ability.

At the village, Alch-deer was not the strongest emperor but for some reason, he found enough gold to transform into an overlord.

In Paramount, a primal ancestor found something on top of a peak and was able to build a heavenly kingdom. Others came, hoping to replicate the feat through strength.

After visiting the dream world, cultivators caused other lifeforms to appear. For example, the great vine found that beneath his roots was an independent realm giving birth to vine demons.

This also occurred in Gold Village and Paramount. The former had golden armored beings while the latter had heavenly soldiers.

Some tried to bring these existences out of the dream world to no avail. They dissipated into smoke upon going to the outside world.
