Emperor’s Domination

Nine-cries was an apex emperor while Ghost-sparrow was a stately desolate god. Ravenous Wolf God was weaker with twelve sacred fruits. Nevertheless, all three stood at the top of this world.

Alas, the pot obliterated their best techniques and merit laws. They wanted to resist for a moment before being struck directly by it. The fear of death surfaced in their heart.

Although they survived numerous ordeals in the past, these trials didn’t break their courage and confidence. Now, they learned the real meaning of being fish on the chopping board or in this case, being inside the pot.

“Your organs must be cleaned with flames before being added to the soup.” Li Qiye said with a smile.

“No!!!” The trio understood his intent right away.

Alas, his dao flame descended and fried them, causing them to scream in agony.

“This is the fate of villains.” Li Qiye said.

Virtuoso’s group shuddered after seeing this. His dao flame was monstrous and could reduce them to ashes. However, he purposely controlled it only to burn their evil auras and energy.

Eventually, only an oil consisting of their essences was left in the pot. Given their cultivation, they had ample dao power, worldly, and chaos energy.

“The people must feast first even though today is your day.” Li Qiye told Ocean-gaze: “They will be part of the celebration.”

“Please.” Ocean-gaze didn’t have a problem with this. Of course, Li Qiye’s words were laws at this point.

Li Qiye then sent the pot up into the air and tilted it to pour down the oil. It scattered into the islands and kingdoms of Imperial League.

Soil’s fertility improved; grasses and plants would turn into precious alchemy ingredients in just a short time.

Living beings looked up and saw a strange rain pouring down. For mortals, just a bit absorbed would improve their lifespan drastically.

This should have been a sore spot for emperors and desolate gods - their kins being reduced to essences. However, they had no complaints given the victims’ vile nature.

Goldblade and Luosha sweated with trembling knees. This could have been their result if they didn’t shift their alliance.

“Where are you going?” Li Qiye said.

Immortal-seek Peak was shrinking during the rainy process, wanting to run while Li Qiye was distracted. Heavenly Crane found Li Qiye unfathomable and couldn’t defeat him.

Being captive meant suffering a potentially worse fate, hence his clandestine escape.

“Ah... I didn’t want to bother you any longer.” His tone changed immensely.

“You already know you’re not leaving here alive.” Li Qiye smirked.

Heavenly Crane had no response at first. He took a deep breath and said: “Sir, I don’t believe I have ever offended you since my dao debut, not Desolate Frontier either.”

“I suppose.” Li Qiye stroked his chin.

Heavenly Crane hesitated for a while and chose life over dignity. He said: “I was blind to have offended you, Sir, please forgive me.”

He wasn’t as blatant as Nine-cries and Ravenous Wolf God since he cared about his reputation.

“Why should I?” Li Qiye smiled.

He thought about it before answering: “Sir, I have not committed any atrocity since my dao debut. The fellow daoists here can give their input.”

Virtuoso and the others exchanged glances. Sure, he hadn’t done many evil things despite being ranked first, especially when compared to the ones who had just gotten refined earlier.

“I sought the dao cautiously and conscientiously, imposing self-regulation and limit.” He said sincerely: “I started at Sacred Mountain and then Orchid Academy, always obeying the rules without fail.”

He paused for a second and bowed in the direction of Virtuoso and Thousand-eyed: “Fellow Daoists, you two also came from Orchid Academy and must have heard of my stories.”

The two exchanged glances. Virtuoso nodded and said: “Yes, I heard of your talent and nothing heinous.”

This was indeed the truth. Heavenly Crane started at Sacred Mountain and joined Orchid Academy later, praised for being the most talented of his generation.
