Emperor’s Domination

”Who should we invite?” Princess Chen frowned.

”Not the headmaster or the vie headmaster. Someone else of the imperial level.” Monk Zhu said.

Ordinary cultivators couldn’t invite emperors. Although they were below primal ancestors or heaven-slayers, they stood at the top compared to everyone else.

”Your ancestor, perhaps?” She asked Orchidcore.

”I don’t think so.” Orchidcore smiled wryly: ”It’s not our territory so if our ancestor comes, people might comment inaccurately.”

Orchid Academy was independent and belonged to everyone in Old World. The same didn’t apply to dao lineages.

”Please don’t, we can’t take it anymore.” Li Xian waved his hand pitifully.

The group understood this was beyond their level, hence needing to invite more powerful cultivators. However, there was nothing else to do with Li Xian’s refusal.

Their conversation was suddenly interrupted by rapid knocks on the main entrance.

Li Xian found this strange about the influx of visitors. Visitors were rare in Old Ruins. Moreover, they wouldn’t come to the fallen Li Clan.

When he opened the gate, he saw a man who said: ”Young Friend, your place is ominous.”

He was old and wore a strange black robe with an ancient style. At the very least, he had never seen it before despite having read numerous records with depictions of old artifacts. He thought this robe might be older than his clan.

The hat on his head was rather strange. The hat was pointed with a curve at the tip, making it look like an upside-down hook, giving off a weird and odd feeling.

One could mistake him to be the black emissary from hell. Fortunately, it was broad daylight so the mythical being couldn’t be here.

This old man seemed to have a dark, weathered face - seemingly due to working with smoke. Upon first glance, he gave off an air of something ancient, an indescribable sense of antiquity. It resembled the smell of an old, worn-out piece of clothing that had been tucked away for decades.

One would wonder if he had just climbed out of a grave. However, his eyes remained bright and full of life.

Princess Chen’s also had bright eyes but they paled before his. They looked like unique gemstones, birthed from the deepest abyss.

These eyes should be found on a supreme genius or beauty, not this old man with one foot in the grave. It made people wonder if he had taken someone else’s eyes.

Therefore, Li Xian became afraid. Everyone seemed to know about his residence’s strange matters and came knocking.

”Sir, please don’t joke around, there is nothing ominous here.” He stood at the entrance, blocking the way and going against his hospitable nature.

”I don’t think so, there is black energy looming. Staying here will result in your death.” The old man disagreed.

”Nothing out of the ordinary had happened here before.” He smiled.

”Sigh, are young people so reckless nowadays?” The old man said: ”I am here with good intention, to exorcise the ghosts here.”

”You can exorcise?” Princess Chen became curious and came closer.

”It’s my forte.” The old man patted his chest as if he were the greatest exorcist: ”There are no ghosts that I, Black Witch Monarch, can’t exorcise. My technique has been around for 80,000 years, this will be a simple matter.”

The four exchanged glances. Orchidcore slightly shook his head, telling the group he had never heard of this person before.

”Witchcraft, please elaborate.” Monk Zhu said.

”I came up with it myself.” Black Witch Monarch said proudly: ”It is comparable to the greatest dao art, no, only greater.”

”Bogus.” Mu Hu didn’t hold back.

”Bogus?” Black Witch Monarch’s eyes lit up impressively.
