Emperor’s Domination

Immortal Suppressor watched patiently after using all of his strength. Intuition told him Li Qiye wouldn’t go down so easily. If this overlord form could kill Li Qiye, the guy wouldn’t have instilled such fear into him.

The crowd also watched with bated breath. Could Immortal Suppressor turn the tides and win? Only a few thought this was possible.

The emperors and desolate gods didn’t think so because Immortal Suppressor was not a true overlord. They speculated about Li Qiye’s situation inside the cauldron.

“Alive, yes, but sealed in that immortal artifact? It’s possible.” A big shot speculated.

The cauldron was an immortal artifact. Could this be enough to seal an overlord?

“Not forever.” The big shot continued: “Maybe just a few years but enough to buy more time.”

“It’s not impossible.” A desolate god responded.

“He’ll have enough time to return to Supreme Heaven for help.” Another continued this train of thought.

“Weizhen of Supreme Heaven is an actual overlord, a direct disciple of Zhan Sansheng. He can kill Li Qiye.” A desolate god took a deep breath.

Weizhen was a being on the same level as Xian Chengtian and Primal Yin Immortal Ghost’s group.

“It has the accumulation of three lives, an unimaginable level of resources and masters.” An emperor said.

“Weizhen and other overlords to kill Li Qiye, that’s the best option.” An old ancestor added.

“The seal appears to be working.” An increasing number of spectators changed their mind.

“Now I’m back.” However, Li Qiye proved them wrong.

“Buzz.” He appeared again but this time, the cauldron was in his possession.

“!!!” Immortal Suppressor became startled despite having accepted his fate.

He had kept the cauldron for a long time, nourishing it with his true energy. Thus, he had an indelible mark on it. With his master’s help, he nearly became one with the artifact.

He had no idea how Li Qiye took it from him. Most importantly, he lost all control and connection. This was akin to losing a body part in a split second.

“The seal didn’t work.” A spectator said.

Those aware of the difficulties in taking someone else’s marked artifact couldn’t believe it.

“I suppose it’s time to say goodbye.” Immortal Suppressor took a deep breath and stared at the cauldron.

Cultivators had deep affection for their favorite weapons; he was no exception. Now, it didn’t recognize him at all, no different from suddenly losing contact with a lover.

“It’s time to end this.” Li Qiye said.

“Yes, your turn, Dao Brother.” He said.

“Kill.” Li Qiye didn’t waste words and sent the cauldron flying.

It didn’t assume a true dragon form and epoch power like before. However, the single word alone instilled a supreme will into the cauldron. The simplistic and unadorned strike wielded the most splendid meaning.

Since Immortal Suppressor wanted a glorious death, Li Qiye granted him the honor of being killed by Li Qiye’s will - the product of his immovable and eternal dao heart.

His defenses couldn’t stop the cauldron currently acting as a vessel. Running was futile as well.

“My will can suppress an immortal!” He bellowed before focusing with all of his might.

He refined his primal anima, physical essences, and dao to manifest his will into reality. It took the form of a seal, leaving a permanent mark in Sin.

“Boom!” His will struck the cauldron but this was an exercise in futility, no different from throwing an egg at a rock. The collision caused it to shatter and disintegrate in the blink of an eye.
