Emperor’s Domination

The cauldron could reach the sky and send down tribulations, true to its name. [1]

After Zhan Sansheng destroyed True Dragon Court, he left the cauldron in Immortal Suppression. If True Dragon Court had known of the cauldron’s location, it could have put up a good fight and defend its territory.

“Enigma stood no chance, of course.” Everyone understood the reason for Enigma’s defeat.

“An immortal treasure that can kill primal ancestors.” A desolate god said softly.

“It’s over for them, either captured or dead.” Listeners sighed after hearing the outcome.

“Their emperors and ancestors are all captured, the remaining survivors can’t amount to anything. Enigma is erased from this world.” A big shot said.

“Why did Immortal Suppress capture those emperors?” A desolate god wondered.

Killing was easier than capturing, so what was the purpose of making it harder?

It didn’t take long for the answer to be revealed - five days later, Immortal Suppression Dynasty would perform a blood ceremony if Hidden Ancestor did not show up.

“Sacrificing emperors…” Everyone took a deep breath: “That’s crueler than killing them, robbing them of their prestige and honor.”

Nothing could be more humiliating than this to an emperor, being treated like offerings.

“This is a way to destroy Enigma’s confidence. If it’s somehow rebuilt in the future, this would still be an unwashable blemish.” An old ancestor said.

“It’s merciless.” The desolate gods nearby shuddered.

“This is their way to force out Enigma’s Hidden Ancestor, to uproot the dynasty entirely and prevent it from rising again.” An emperor said.

“This Hidden Ancestor is real?” Everyone became curious.

“I think so.” The emperor said with certainty: “If there’s a Secret Ancestor, there should be a Hidden Ancestor too, the key to their repeated revival.”

“That makes sense.” A big shot said: “If they can kill this Hidden Ancestor, they won’t have to worry about Enigma in the future.”

Others were skeptical of this legend but Immortal Suppression truly believed it, hence their plan.

“Would Hidden Ancestor show up?” One ancestor said.

“I don’t think so. From what we know, Hidden Ancestor had never appeared or stopped the previous destructions of Enigma.” A desolate god said.

“Would this ancestor just watch and let them perform the blood ceremony?” A big shot became curious.

“Well, stopping Immortal Suppression is virtually impossible, one primal ancestor and ten emperors. Most importantly, it has a supreme grand momentum with murderous formations.” An emperor said.

“Right, the only primal ancestor in Sin too.” A sect master agreed.

“So Enigma suffered a total defeat.” Another murmured.

The sacrifice ceremony drew everyone to Enigma. No one wanted to miss this important matter.

“It’s almost the fifth day.” All eyes were on the movement of Immortal Suppression. Alas, nothing happened so they became disappointed with Hidden Ancestor.

“A cowardly turtle hiding in the shell then.” One expert said.

“Well, it’s the best course of action.” A big shot retorted given the insurmountable odds.

“It is time, prepare the altar.” A fierce voice came from Immortal Suppression said: “Hidden Ancestor will not show up so we shall sacrifice emperors, signaling a permanent end to Enigma.”

“Immortal Suppression shall be no more, not Enigma.” A leisurely voice from outside the dynasty responded.
