Beast Taming Clan: I Have a Jade Book

In the Eastern Domain’s Long Elephant Valley, an earth-shattering trumpet echoed as a colossal Mammoth rose to its feet. Its massive body resembled a Golden Mountain, making it exceptionally conspicuous within the valley. Its two long ivory tusks gleamed with brilliant golden light, prompting countless other Mammoths to trumpet in chorus. Dozens of Tier Three Mammoths charged forward simultaneously, seamlessly forming a massive Breaking Array Battle Array.

At that moment, the entire Long Elephant Valley seemed to tremble.

It took quite a while for the commotion to subside. Only when the elephant herd calmed down did a group of six or seven people reveal themselves on the sidelines. Leading them was Ye Haiyu. Although the Teleportation Array was no longer here, she had remained in Long Elephant Valley to train the battle formations.

”Jin Meng, you can comfortably return to the Ye Family with me to report back now, right?” Ye Haiyu chuckled, turning to the middle-aged man in a yellow robe beside her. This man was not a Ye Family Cultivator, but the Tier Four Mammoth Demon King who had recently broken through.

”Naturally,” the man smiled. It was now Ye Haiyu’s Spirit Beast. In truth, if she had forcefully ordered it to return to the Desert Sea, it would have had no choice but to do so over a decade ago. Yet, Ye Haiyu had waited for it all these years, moving it deeply.

”Xingshui, I’ll leave this place in your hands,” Ye Haiyu said after speaking with the Mammoth Demon King. She looked at the man beside her, Ye Xingshui, an elder of the Ye Family’s Lingyun Peak.

”Please rest assured, Aunt Haiyu. I will definitely guard Elephant Valley well,” Ye Xingshui nodded repeatedly. His words weren’t particularly forceful, and considering he was nearing three hundred years of age, he had long lost the fiery spirit of his youth. The only thing that remained unchanged was his unwavering dedication to the Ye Family.

To this day, he could not forget how Ye Jingcheng had given him the Longevity Spiritual Peach at the Treasure Tower on Lingyun Peak, allowing him to achieve Foundation Establishment. Combined with the Beast Communication Pattern and a Golden Rhinoceros with immense potential, it had even enabled him to break through to the Purple Mansion Realm at the age of two hundred and ten. Back then, he had already prepared his last words and handed over his supreme authority over the Treasure Tower, only to shamelessly reclaim them when he survived. Now, at the Middle Stage of Purple Mansion, he naturally felt a sense of wistfulness.

”Xingshui, you’re an old member of the family, so I won’t say too much. However, this place might be another opportunity for you. Grasp it well. Furthermore, do not neglect your studies in the Dao of Arrays,” Ye Haiyu instructed one last time.

She was currently at the Purple Mansion Peak. A few years ago, she had already applied to the family for a Gold Condensing Pill. However, since the family’s stock was nearly depleted at the time and Ye Jingcheng was the only Alchemy Master capable of refining such Spirit Pills, her request had been delayed. Now, she was fully prepared. Once she finished handing over her duties at Elephant Valley, she would return to the family to break through to the Golden Core Realm—a realm she had once never even dared to dream of.

After giving a few more instructions, Ye Haiyu departed toward Cyan and Vermilion Mountain.

Meanwhile, in the Eastern Domain’s Yan Kingdom, at Lingyun Peak.

Inside the Assembly Hall, there was quite a large gathering of cultivators. Apart from Ye Jingyu’s absence, almost all the Purple Mansion Cultivators of Lingyun Peak were present.

Looking at Ye Xingqun, Ye Jingyun, and several other Ye Family Elders, Ye Haifei took out a Ten Thousand Miles Mirror. This mirror was a Tier Four Spiritual Treasure that ordinary Purple Mansion Cultivators could not use. However, typical Golden Core Cultivators simply didn’t have the time to constantly monitor it. Thus, the Ye Family had assigned the mirror to Ye Haifei. With the aid of Lingyun Peak’s Spirit Awakening Array, a Purple Mansion Cultivator could barely manage to operate it. This allowed them to monitor the Demon Beast situation in the Taihang Mountain Range, as well as the circumstances within the Cyan River territory. For the Ye Family, this was a precautionary measure, preparing for any unforeseen troubles.

”Please rest assured, Uncle Hai Fei. Jingyun and I will definitely guarantee the safety of Lingyun Peak and the family’s Teleportation Array,” Ye Xingqun replied repeatedly, a bright smile on his face.

Ye Haifei wasn’t leaving the Eastern Domain for a mission. Instead, having reached the Purple Mansion Peak, he was returning to the Desert Sea to break through to the Golden Core Realm. This gathering was essentially just a handover of responsibilities. After all, the person with the highest cultivation at the Eastern Domain’s Lingyun Peak was Ye Jingyu, followed by Ye Haifei at the Purple Mansion Peak, and then Ye Jingfeng at the Late Stage of Purple Mansion.

”Naturally, I trust the two of you. But remember this: keep a close eye out for the slightest signs of trouble. Every major event will always have its omens,” Ye Haifei warned, pointing in the direction of Medicine King Valley.

The Ye Family still had a considerable number of members in the Eastern Domain. Of course, all the Communication Beast Clan members were stationed in the Markets, which were equipped with Teleportation Arrays, allowing them to evacuate at a moment’s notice if necessary. However, True Monarch Bai Yao of Medicine King Valley had been in seclusion for nearly seventy to eighty years. Whether he succeeded or failed, the results would be known very soon. The Ye Family naturally had to make proper preparations in advance.

”The screening for Spirit Roots must also become more frequent,” Ye Haifei urged again.

”Uncle Hai Fei, regarding the clansmen scouting the Beast Spirit Sect...”

”They can be withdrawn. The family is already well aware of most of the Beast Spirit Sect’s information. We’ve accomplished our mission. As for the rest, we’ll wait until Jingcheng arrives to discuss it,” Ye Haifei instructed after a brief moment of silence.

With that said, Ye Haifei left the Assembly Hall. He didn’t teleport immediately; instead, he made his way to the edge of Lingyun Lake. Dressed in a blue Daoist Robe, the fierce wind blew with a WHOOSH WHOOSH in his ears.

The lake’s surface rippled gently. As Ye Haifei waved his hand, large ripples suddenly surged outward, and a Blue Jade Spirit Shadow expanded. In the next moment, a Blue Jade Flood Dragon burst from the water, stirring up monstrous waves. It was Ye Haifei’s Blue Jade Flood Dragon.

Although its bloodline couldn’t compare to Ye Jingyu’s Blue Jade Flood Dragon, under the nourishment of the family’s Advancement Pills and Spirit Pills, it had long surpassed the limits of a Half-Flood Dragon. Its cultivation had impressively reached the Early Stage of Tier Four.

”Return to the Desert Sea, prove my Dao, and form the Golden Core,” Ye Haifei murmured. He then withdrew the Blue Jade Flood Dragon and headed toward the Teleportation Array.

Meanwhile, at the Desert Sea’s Earth Shadow Peak.

Inside an Alchemy Room, four beasts stood in a pincer formation, spewing fierce flames. Two of these beasts were Three-Eyed Demon Rocs, and the other two were Black Crows. Notably, one of the Three-Eyed Demon Rocs was at Tier Four, while the other three beasts were at the Tier Three Peak. Compared to the Fire Cloud Birds from before, the flames spewed by the current Black Crows and Three-Eyed Demon Rocs were naturally vastly superior.

His Pill Furnace was none other than the Tier Three Pill Furnace previously used by Ye Jingcheng—the Heavenly Bull Cyan-Red Furnace. As the Yun Pill formed within, the Pill Furnace emitted a muffled rumbling sound, causing Ye Qingyan to furrow his brows tightly.

His hands continuously cast Magic spells. After an unknown amount of time, the furnace finally settled down, its surface restoring its cyan and red hues. The massive furnace handles, resembling bull horns, let out a low, resonant MOO MOO.

In the next moment, the lid flew open, and a Spirit Pill shot out. Radiating the unique Spiritual Aura of a Tier Four Spirit Pill, it filled Ye Qingyan with boundless joy.

”It’s finally done!” Although it was just an ordinary Tier Four Spirit Pill devoid of any Pill Fragrance, for Ye Qingyan, it was a clear indication that his Alchemy Skill had finally broken through. Furthermore, a Tier Three Purple Mansion Alchemist successfully refining a Tier Four Spirit Pill would be treated as an honored guest anywhere.

”Let’s go, leave the Pill Hall, and enter Celestial Shadow Peak,” Ye Qingyan said gleefully as he wiped down the Pill Furnace and recalled the four beasts.

He had previously received news that after the Red Flame Fox’s breakthrough, Ye Jingcheng had restarted his Pill Furnace and refined a full ten Gold Condensing Pills.

At the Central Domain’s Xiaoshan Prefecture Market.

Inside the Ye Family’s Celestial Sand Array Pavilion, Ye Xingliu was taking out a Jade Mirror to hand over to Ye Haiyan. Ye Haiyan had previously been stationed at Sha Huang Mountain. But now that the Ye Family’s Teleportation Arrays were fully connected and Ye Yunxi was constantly at Sha Huang Mountain, her Combat Power meant Ye Haiyan was no longer needed to guard the area. The Ye Family currently had a full seventeen Purple Mansion Cultivators in the Central Domain. In terms of management, Ye Jingnan had also grown capable.

”Uncle Haiyan, the Array Pavilion will be entrusted to you from now on,” Ye Xingliu said.

”If you’re handing it over, just hand it over. Why so sentimental? You junior, do you really think I’ll fall that far behind you?” Ye Haiyan teased, seeing Ye Xingliu’s melancholy expression.

Hearing this, Ye Xingliu immediately burst into laughter. He understood why Ye Haiyan acted this way. According to what he knew, Ye Haiyu, Ye Haifei, and Ye Xuefu—who had all broken through to the Purple Mansion Realm around the same time as Ye Haiyan—were already at the Purple Mansion Peak. By now, they were likely all on their way back to the family.

Although Ye Haiyan had been delayed significantly due to severe injuries in the past, he was now at the Peak of Purple Mansion Middle Stage. It wouldn’t be long before he reached the Late Stage of Purple Mansion. Once there, he would only need to polish his cultivation, and reaching the Purple Mansion Peak wouldn’t be an issue. Of course, the transition from the Peak of Purple Mansion Middle Stage to the Purple Mansion Peak might still take quite some time.

However, a Purple Mansion Cultivator’s five-hundred-year lifespan was definitely enough for Ye Haiyan to attempt breaking through to the Golden Core Realm. Previously, many clansmen worried about lacking a future due to the shortage of Gold Condensing Pills. But now, the Ye Family possessed nearly ten Gold Condensing Fruit Trees. Furthermore, Ye Jingcheng had recently refined three batches of Gold Condensing Pills, producing ten Spirit Pills, all of which had been brought back to the Desert Sea.

”Right, you need to pay extra attention to Xiao Congrong,” Ye Xingliu suddenly recalled something and warned. ”This person hides too deeply. I hope he is someone who truly understands the times, rather than a deeply hidden instigator biding his time.”

Even though Xiao Congrong had behaved exceptionally well and Ye Jingcheng hadn’t noticed any issues with him, the Ye Family hadn’t reached where they were today solely by relying on intuition. They had to eliminate all potential dangers. It was just like back in the Earth Immortal Realm when Ye Haiyan’s caution had saved the lives of many clansmen. While Ye Jingcheng was undoubtedly a qualified family leader, for the family to continue moving forward, experienced elders like them had to do more to help him patch up the minor flaws and overlooked details.

At Tianshu Mansion’s Ye Talisman Peak.

This was formerly the Spirit Peak of the Liu Family, but it had now fallen into the hands of the Ye Family. The Spirit Peak’s name had also been changed. Naturally, there were still quite a few willow trees on the mountain. These were no mortal willows; they were Tier Two Cyan Cloud Willows, which had the effect of gathering Spiritual Energy. After inspecting them and finding no issues, the Ye Family had decided to keep them.

At this moment, Ye Yunxuan walked out of a cave dwelling.

”Uncle Jing Hu,” he greeted. Guarding the entrance was none other than Ye Jing Hu.

”Keep at it. Things are far more exciting here in the Central Domain. I look forward to you breaking through to the Golden Core and becoming the number one Talisman Master in Tianshu Mansion,” Ye Jing Hu smiled.

Within a single year, Ye Yunxuan had completed all his refinement commissions, producing a full thirty-odd Spirit Talismans, including one Tier Four Spirit Talisman. He was ending his seclusion today specifically to return to the Desert Sea and break through to the Golden Core Realm.

”That’s only natural,” Ye Yunxuan declared proudly. ”You must also be careful here in the Central Domain, Uncle Jing Hu,” Ye Yunxuan added, looking at Ye Jing Hu after his confident declaration.

Friction between the Southern Wilderness Province and the Nanman Province was intensifying. Ye Yunxi had already intervened several times, even sustaining some injuries on one occasion. Although Ye Jing Hu was temporarily stationed in Tianshu Mansion, it was only a matter of time before he was dispatched to Xiaoshan Prefecture and Wangqing Prefecture. Thus, Ye Yunxuan felt the need to warn him.

”If you’re worried about your uncle, hurry up and break through so you can refine a few more Tier Four Spirit Talismans for me. When the time comes, your uncle will arrange a good marriage for you!” Ye Jing Hu replied, feeling incredibly gratified.

”Uncle Jing Hu, you have to wait until I’m out of seclusion for your wedding day,” Ye Yunxuan didn’t directly respond to the matchmaking offer but repeatedly reminded him instead.

It was common knowledge in the Southern Wilderness Province that Ye Jing Hu currently had his eyes on Fairy Zilan of the Hegu Sect. Ye Yunxuan was worried that his uncle might get married very soon. Breaking through to the Golden Core Realm wouldn’t be a short process; it would take at least ten to twenty years, and for some, even up to thirty years.

”Alright,” Ye Jing Hu nodded.

Back in the Desert Sea, at Earth Shadow Peak’s Celestial Dream Butterfly Valley, Ye Qingnian stepped out once again.

Compared to the other clansmen, his cultivation progress was much more steady and solid. He possessed two Flood Dragons, and his three Spirit Beasts were all of exceptional quality. The only concern the others had was his mentality. They worried that having Ye Jingcheng as his father would place immense pressure on him, potentially causing issues when he faced his Heart Demons during the breakthrough. Because of this, they had him enter the Celestial Dream Butterfly Valley several times. Now that he had emerged from the valley, it was naturally time for his breakthrough.

”Little Nian, don’t disappoint your big sister,” Ye Qingfeng, having consolidated her own cultivation, was waiting at the valley entrance. Since Chu Yanqing was in seclusion, Ye Qingfeng was the only one waiting for him.

”Don’t worry. When the time comes, I’ll have you calling me big brother,” Ye Qingnian replied with a laugh.

He then cast his gaze into the distance, sensing several Purple Mansion Peak auras appearing simultaneously at Celestial Shadow Peak.

”Our Ye Family’s Great Era of Strife is finally here!”
