Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

Chapter 992: Chapter 996: Love Rival

”Hehe, baby, sis is fine, thank you for your concern.” Xia Qingqian rubbed her side and shook her head.

Everyone was asking about Xia Qingqian’s condition, except Beitang Yao, who stood like a piece of wood in place, staring blankly at their expressions of concern for Xia Qingqian. He couldn’t help but want to say something comforting, but what came out was: ”You damned woman, didn’t you eat? Can’t even stand properly?”

Furiously, he walked in front of Xia Qingqian, standing between Mario and Xia Qingqian, cutting off their gaze. Although Mario was just a child, the possessive glint in his eyes deeply hurt Beitang Yao.

How could he let this little brat get close to her?

”You’re not allowed to yell at sis.” Mario pouted and stretched out his little fist, initially wanting to punch Beitang Yao’s annoying handsome face, but since he wasn’t as tall as Beitang Yao, he ended up punching... Beitang Yao’s butt.

Yes, it was Beitang Yao’s firm and sexy butt. Hehe, a child’s short arms could only deal with his ”rival” like this.

Beitang Yao turned around, glaring angrily at the little brat beneath him, face full of rage, he roared: ”You dare hit me? Do you believe I can cripple both your hands?”

”Wahh—” A crisp cry came from Mario’s mouth, as he pretended to raise his fists and cover his eyes, wailing.

”Young Master, how can you be so harsh to a child? He’s just a kid, do you really have to treat him so cruelly?” Xia Qingqian stepped past Beitang Yao, squatted down, held the crying Mario in her arms, wiped the tears from his face, and seemed somewhat reproachful towards Beitang Yao.

Beitang Yao, in a towering rage, his eyes burning with even more intense fury, truly feared he couldn’t control the anger within his heart. His gaze lowered and he saw the little brat’s smug smile, even making a face at him, while snuggling comfortably in Xia Qingqian’s arms, enjoying her tenderness.

This is his woman, how could he allow others to take advantage of her? He coldly said, ”No matter what... you’re going to protect this little brat?”

Xia Qingqian slowly stood up, pulled Mario behind her, and spoke calmly to Beitang Yao, ”Young Master, he’s just a child, why are you competing with him?” She truly couldn’t understand why the always aloof Beitang Yao would become so furious over a child like Mario.

She really couldn’t figure it out, nor did she want to think about it. There were just too many things spinning around that she couldn’t grasp, and now with Beitang Yao like this, it really gave her a headache.

”I’m competing with him?” Beitang Yao’s icy eyes glared, reflecting countless tiny arrows piercing every inch, ”How can you be so dumb! He’s a man, deliberately getting close to you, wanting to... wanting to...” Beitang Yao, enraged by Xia Qingqian’s foolishness, waved his hands in the air nonstop.

Xia Qingqian’s beautiful eyes widened, staring blankly at the angry Young Master, while a faint feeling rose in her heart — could she interpret this as... he’s jealous? He’s actually jealous of a child?

”Young Master...” Xia Qingqian was choked by Beitang Yao’s anger, apart from softly calling him, she dared not utter another word. She even paused while holding Mario’s hand, wanting to let go, yet Mario held on tightly, refusing to let go.
