Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

Chapter 972: Chapter 976: The Situation Is Not Good

Maria was stunned, Xia Qingqian was fine just a moment ago, clear-minded, how did she suddenly become incoherent? What mistress?

”Get out—” She did not want to see anyone, especially Beitang Yao, they wanted to kill the Young Master, they wanted to use her as bait to lure Beitang Yao out.

She was not a mistress, she didn’t belong to Beitang Yao! No! She didn’t want to admit to any relationship with Beitang Yao! It would hurt him.

”Alright, alright,” Maria waved her hand, comforting, ”I’ll go out immediately, Miss Xia, just calm down.”

She must have been stimulated by something, that’s why she’s acting crazy after waking up. No, the Young Master needs to be informed of Miss Xia’s condition.

Maria hurried out, immediately rushing to the Young Master’s room, knocking on the door, anxiously saying, ”Young Master, Young Master!”

”What’s going on, such lack of discipline!” Night Wind just happened to come up from the first floor, seeing Maria knocking on Beitang Yao’s door, calling out so urgently.

Maria, seeing it was Night Wind Housekeeper, babbled a bunch of exaggerated words before Beitang Yao’s door opened.

”What’s the fuss so early in the morning?” Beitang Yao frowned at the two people shouting at the door.

His shirt was undone, revealing a fair, firm chest, tempting to indulge in. His hair was slightly disheveled, yet carried a rich, chaotic allure, like a handsome vampire noble just awakened.

”Young Master, Miss Xia’s condition is not good.” Maria’s words made the situation seem serious.

”Then why are you standing here!” Beitang Yao roared, startling Night Wind and Maria. They gathered their senses before the Young Master could get angry again, hurriedly heading to Xia Qianqian’s room.

When Night Wind and Maria rushed in, they found Xia Qingqian standing by the window, swaying in the breeze.

The breeze came, lifted her sea-like black shoulder-length hair, and her white silk nightgown fluttered, enveloping her in spring warmth, but with added desolation and despair.

”Miss Xia, why are you standing on the windowsill?” Night Wind stopped, halting Maria’s steps further.

Looking at Xia Qingqian on the windowsill with shock, Night Wind’s heart rose in his throat, fully aware that if anything happened to Xia Qingqian, his own life would be in jeopardy, or even worse, others would suffer too.

”Don’t come any closer—” she turned, grasping the wall beside her, her eyes full of panic. Seeing Beitang Yao follow in, she shook her head and said, ”I’m not Beitang Yao’s mistress!”

”Beitang Yao, go quickly—They want to use me as bait, they want to kill you...” Scenes floated up again in her mind, ”Rats, rats dead... I don’t want to turn into charcoal, no—”

”Night Wind, what’s she doing?” Her behavior was like someone with mental illness, speaking nonsensically, yesterday she also said strange things when she woke up.

Beitang Yao looked at her on the windowsill, asking Night Wind.

”Young Master, Miss Xia might have been stimulated during those hours of kidnapping...” Night Wind wasn’t sure... didn’t dare... with his years of medical practice, she might be suffering from intermittent mental illness. Scared out of her.
