Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

Chapter 500: Chapter 501: Does Your Second Uncle Have a Girlfriend?

Mu Shini paused, frowned, ”Did Bo Sishen really send you to test me?”

Her face immediately darkened.

”Nian Nian, did my second uncle tell you last night what he was going out to do?” Bao Tinghao suddenly asked.

”He said he was handling some matters near the manor.” Mu Shini replied.

”Do you really believe what my second uncle said?” Bao Tinghao looked at Mu Shini, ”Nian Nian, my second uncle is very deep and scheming. Being with him is truly not suitable for you.”

”The marriage between me and your second uncle was arranged by our elders. Whether it’s suitable or not, I’m already his wife.” Mu Shini’s face was still very unpleasant, she bit her lip and said, ”You haven’t answered my question, did Bo Sishen send you to test me?”

Seeing her so aggrieved and distressed, Bao Tinghao couldn’t bear to lie to her, ”No, it was my own idea. When we first met, I didn’t know about your relationship with my second uncle. It was only when Uncle Tan Mu appeared at the hospital and called you ’Young Madam’ that I learned of the relationship, but I didn’t believe it.”

Bao Tinghao moved forward somewhat excitedly, completely ignoring Tan Mu watching from the car, reached out his hand to hold Mu Shini’s little hand, and earnestly said, ”Nian Nian, I like you, it’s sincere. We are of similar age and share many common interests.”

Mu Shini immediately withdrew her hand and said to Bao Tinghao, ”That’s different. I am your aunt, hope you understand this truth. Thank you for your misplaced affection! Actually, your second uncle is really pitiful; I don’t want to do anything that would upset him.”

”Then what about that professor? I can tell that his feelings for you are not that simple.” Bao Tinghao’s eyes flashed with obvious pain, but more with a hint of anticipation, ”Nian Nian, are you really not involved with the professor?”

Mu Shini was frightened, breaking out in cold sweat, and said, ”I have no relationship with the professor at all! Don’t make assumptions! And can you promise me not to tell my second uncle about anything between me and the professor? I don’t want my second uncle worrying and overthinking while he’s recovering.”

”Nian Nian, get on the car and go back to school. One day, you will understand everything.” Bao Tinghao said, his voice somewhat hoarse and weak.

”What are you talking about? Understand everything?” Mu Shini asked, puzzled.

”Nothing, it’s cold outside, get on the car!” Bao Tinghao raised his hand and patted Mu Shini’s shoulder.

”Explain clearly first! I’m not getting on the car before you finish.” Mu Shini stubbornly said.

”What do you want to know?” Bao Tinghao asked.

”Just what you said earlier, why did your second uncle go out to the manor last night?” Mu Shini found Bo Sishen’s expression when he returned last night strange.

She was so sensitive that she could sense his emotional changes.

”Didn’t my second uncle tell you?” Bao Tinghao’s eyes darkened, he looked at Mu Shini in some disbelief, ”Weren’t you both in the same room last night?”

”We were...” Mu Shini began, almost slipping up, she quickly corrected herself, ”I asked, but he didn’t tell me what it was.”

However, she vaguely felt that Bo Sishen definitely went out for something important.

”Tinghao, did your second uncle ever have a girlfriend?” Mu Shini suddenly asked, staring at Bao Tinghao intently, ”Tell me the truth, and do you really not know Professor Faris from our school?”

”Whether my second uncle had a girlfriend, you should ask him.” Bao Tinghao lowered his eyes and said, ”Why would you ask me if I know Professor Faris?”
