Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

Chapter 454: Chapter 455: Hard to Decline the Warm Invitation

”Uncle, drink the mutton soup while it’s hot,” Mu Shini said softly, holding a bowl of mutton soup in front of Bo Sishen.

Grandpa and grandma stood nearby, also looking at Bo Sishen. ”Don’t be polite, Nian Nian’s friends are our friends. This mutton soup is made with our family’s secret recipe, which you can’t easily find outside!”

With the elder couple’s warm hospitality and hearing that it was made with a family secret recipe, it further aroused his taste buds. After thanking them, he drank the mutton soup.

Drinking mutton soup is always better than eating spicy hotpot.

Though Mu Shini had ordered a non-spicy version for him.

But he still couldn’t get used to that type of food.

Bo Sishen took a sip of the mutton soup. The delicious taste was indescribable, making him want to drink it all in one go!

”How is it?” Grandpa asked nervously.

Bo Sishen didn’t speak, taking one sip after another, finally lifting the bowl to drink it all up.

”Grandpa, look, he even drank the bottom of the bowl clean! It must be really delicious!” Mu Shini elegantly sipped her mutton soup and, having only one bowl, couldn’t bear to drink it all at once.

Bo Sishen put down the bowl, took a napkin, wiped the corner of his mouth, and savored, ”Is there more?”

The taste was truly wonderful!

Hearing this, the elderly couple burst into smiles, seeing others enjoy the food they made gave them great joy!

”If you like it, next time we cook it, we’ll call Nian Nian to bring you over!” Grandpa said happily.

”Sure!” Bo Sishen nodded in agreement.

Just as Bo Sishen finished speaking, another customer shouted—

”Boss, one large bowl of spicy hotpot please!”

”Coming right up!” Grandpa turned to respond to the customer.

”Take your time eating! If you need more, just call out! Sorry, I can’t keep you company!” Grandpa and grandma said as they went back to work.

Mu Shini looked at Bo Sishen, smiling with lips pursed, ”Uncle, who would have thought, you’re also a foodie!”

”Uncle, this spicy hotpot is also very good! Give it a try! These meatballs aren’t the kind you buy at the market; they are handmade by grandpa and grandma, 100% natural! Plus, the soup base isn’t some scary concoction from the news. Don’t worry! It’s very hygienic!”

After Mu Shini finished her mutton soup, she continued eating the spicy hotpot. Seeing Bo Sishen not moving his chopsticks, she explained.

Seeing Mu Shini enjoy her food so much, and recalling the wonderful taste of the mutton soup, Bo Sishen slowly started eating the spicy hotpot too.

He picked up a beef ball and put it into his mouth; the beef flavor was strong and bouncy!

It was indeed not as unpleasant as he had imagined.

The taste was really great!

After they finished eating, grandma and grandpa did not charge them. Mu Shini got upset, ”Grandpa and grandma, it isn’t easy for you! All the ingredients are handmade, and your spicy hotpot tastes better and is cheaper than others’. If you don’t take my money, it’s like I’m eating for free! I wouldn’t dare come again in the future...”

The elderly couple glanced at each other, unable to argue with Mu Shini.

”Indeed, a top student speaks in a way that leaves you unable to refute,” Grandpa liked Mu Shini very much and after thinking for a moment, said, ”How about this, we’ll take your money but grandpa still has some beef balls, beef tendon balls, shrimp balls, and heart-shaped meat balls. Take them home and freeze them. When you’re hungry, just cook them.”

”Grandpa, I can’t accept these,” Mu Shini said, shaking her hands.

Grandma held Mu Shini’s hand and said, ”Girl, grandpa and I make these not because we mind the hard work, but because we are satisfied just watching others enjoy the food we make.”

Mu Shini had no choice but to accept the kindness, ”Thank you, grandpa and grandma!”
