Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

Chapter 496: Chapter 497: I Won’t Sleep on the Sofa

”You just drove out with my second uncle, both of you looking tense, what was that about?” Bao Tinghao asked, glancing at the stairs, his voice tight.

Tan Mu replied softly, ”Young Master Tinghao, the master and I just went out to take care of something, it’s nothing.”

”Oh, is that so? If it was work-related, why did my second uncle come back with that expression? As if he saw something he shouldn’t have.” Bao Tinghao just couldn’t shake the image of Bo Sishen’s face when he returned.

It was an expression that words couldn’t describe.

”Young Master Tinghao, don’t blame Uncle Tan Mu for speaking out of turn.” Tan Mu sighed lightly, giving Bao Tinghao a long look, ”You proposed an absurd bet, and the master agreed to it just to humor you, not because he doesn’t play by the rules, but because your plan lacked thoroughness. If you wanted to bet, you couldn’t let the Young Madam know about your relationship with the master.

Do you know how much the master suffers for you? What is the hardest thing for a man? It’s having a beauty in his arms but only being able to look, not touch. The master only has respect for the Young Madam, he has never done anything inappropriate. Sometimes I really wish the master would ignore the bet between you two and act domineeringly towards the Young Madam.”

”Uncle Tan Mu,” Bao Tinghao frowned, ”you know I don’t want to hear this, I just want to know what happened to my second uncle earlier.”

Tan Mu shook his head, ”Nothing happened, it’s late, Young Master Tinghao, you should rest early! You have class tomorrow.”

”...” Bao Tinghao frowned deeper.

...

Bo Sishen’s bedroom.

”You’re sleeping on the sofa with my blanket?” Bo Sishen, leaning against the wall, watched her carrying the pillow and blanket to the sofa and raised an eyebrow as he asked.

”No, I’m bringing it for you.” Mu Shini placed the pillow and blanket on the sofa, then turned around to look at Bo Sishen.

”I’m not sleeping on the sofa.” Bo Sishen said, taking a step forward, directly went to the sofa, and picked up the blanket and pillow, throwing them onto the big bed.

”You’re a man, of course, you should sleep on the sofa!” Mu Shini followed him angrily and said to him.

”We haven’t slept together before, why are you so nervous?” Bo Sishen stopped in his tracks, turned around to look at her.

Seeing his face at night was still a bit intimidating for Mu Shini, she quickly took two steps back, looking at him, ”This is just an act for Bao Tinghao, it’s not like we really have to sleep together!”

”Unless you’re disgusted by me.” Bo Sishen’s deep eyes swept over, catching a trace of timidity in her eyes, he said in a low voice.

Mu Shini hurriedly shook her head, ”I am not disgusted by you!”

”Then be a good girl and get in bed.” Bo Sishen curled his lips wickedly.

As soon as he finished speaking, he lifted her up and placed her on the bed, pulling the blanket over her.

”Hey!” Mu Shini exclaimed in surprise.

Seeing his tall figure looming over, she instinctively backed away.

Bo Sishen didn’t raise his face to look at her, afraid that she would have nightmares if she saw him at night.

”Go to sleep, I said I wouldn’t touch you and I won’t.” Bo Sishen had gone out just now, and his expression was somewhat dazed.

”Then you can’t cross this pillow tonight!” Mu Shini looked at him, seemingly aware of the unusual atmosphere in the air.

”Mm.” Bo Sishen nodded, getting into bed from the other side.

When Mu Shini lay down, she was very tense, her body tightly wound.

”Bo Sishen, you won’t come over in the middle of the night, right?” Mu Shini asked cautiously.
