The Urban Medical Martial Immortal

Chapter 728: Chapter 724: I’m Drunk (Fourth Update!)

“Well, you promised, no fooling me!”

Driving the Ghost sports car, he stopped in front of the villa. Yan Yanxin, with sparkling beautiful eyes, turned her head to look at Lin Tian, her eyes brimming with joy, and said, “Also, let’s pinky swear first!”

She stretched out her delicate white hand toward Lin Tian, frowning cutely.

Lin Tian looked at the girl’s translucently white hand swinging towards him, serious in her beautiful eyes, and her sparkling gaze was full of fervent feelings for him. He couldn’t help but bitterly smile.

At this moment,

If he refused, he would definitely hurt Yan Yanxin, this little girl was subtly beginning to depend on him.

Even more, she might have started to like him!

After thinking it over, Lin Tian finally gave in helplessly and reached out his hand to pinky swear with her soft, boneless hand.

“Pinky swear and promise for a hundred years never to change!”

Yan Yanxin’s eyes lit up with excitement, and as she looked at Lin Tian with a tender gaze, she said, “So it’s settled, if you back out, I curse you to be single for a hundred years! Heehee haha…”

In the end, Yan Yanxin laughed without any regard for her image, and ran back into the villa.

“This girl…”

Lin Tian shook his head helplessly and followed, getting out of the car and walking into the villa.

“Lin Tian, I’m hungry!”

Yan Yanxin sat on the sofa hugging her legs, looking pitifully at Lin Tian, and said.

Having tasted Lin Tian’s cooking, Yan Yanxin could be said to crave it every day, wishing her stomach were bigger so she could eat more.

“Alright, just wait!”

Since he owed her a favor, Lin Tian agreed and headed towards the kitchen.

Moreover, he didn’t trust Yan Yanxin to cook either, having previously dropped the kitchen sponge into the vegetable basin, who knew what might get dropped next.

“That’s great! I can go with you to see the clinic tomorrow and it will be absolutely beautiful!”

Yan Yanxin said, her face full of anticipation and excitement.

In less than half an hour, Lin Tian cooked two bowls of noodles, and he sat down with Yan Yanxin on the sofa, eating while watching TV.

At this time,

The little girl was watching a singing competition program, cheering while she ate.

“Wow wow wow… Yaya is amazing! She won first place in the Southern Continent for the strongest voice!”

At this moment, Yan Yanxin suddenly let out an excited scream, turned around, and hugged Lin Tian tightly, shouting uncontrollably, “Haha… that’s so great, so great! Yaya won first place, and I get to bask in her glory!”

“Why are you getting so excited? Let go of me first!”

Lin Tian was tightly hugged by Yan Yanxin, to the point where he was almost out of breath.

“Ah… I’m just too excited!”

Yan Yanxin was naturally bold and unrestrained, and in her excitement, she couldn’t control her words, scrunching up her cute nose and saying, “Humph, of course, I’m happy! She’s my good friend!”

“Oh, you know her?”

Lin Tian looked surprised, then his expression cleared as he said, “I thought you were just a fan. So she’s your friend, no wonder you’re so excited. But, being able to win that what’s-it-called strongest voice is indeed an accomplishment, it’s worth being happy about!”

“Of course! You just look at how talented our Yaya is! Does she make your heart flutter?”

Yan Yanxin proudly said, while warily observing Lin Tian.

Lin Tian lifted his eyelids, glanced at the girl on the TV, and retorted, “She’s quite pretty, but I’m not interested!”

“That’s more like it. I’m just worried you’ll be dazzled by every beautiful woman you see!”

Yan Yanxin was very pleased with Lin Tian’s performance, appearing as if Lin Tian had already become his personal belonging, and excitedly said, “Do you know what rewards you get for being the first in Southern Continent, besides the trophy and the prize money?”

“Getting first place should mean advancing to the national finals, right? Could there be some other incredible reward?”

Lin Tian asked casually as he was eating.

“This is even more exciting than advancing to the finals! I bet you can’t guess!”

Yan Yanxin put down his chopsticks, turned his head to look at Lin Tian, and said with delight, “I’ll tell you now, but brace yourself, don’t be too shocked!”

“Go ahead, it’s probably just some VIP getting to meet us, right?”

Lin Tian looked at Yan Yanxin with an air of mock importance and curled his lips dismissively.

“Hmph, well listen up!”

Yan Yanxin, hands on hips and with a proud demeanor, said, “When Yaya comes back, the day after tomorrow, she’ll be performing on the same stage as the world-class international superstar Su Yuan, at Su Yuan’s concert! You know Su Yuan, right? She’s one of the top superstars of Huaxia, with global influence! Hahaha… for Yaya to share the stage with her, isn’t that awesome?”

Lin Tian initially didn’t care much about what Yan Yanxin said, but by the end, he was stunned.

Su Yuan?

Lin Tian turned to look at Yan Yanxin in surprise and asked, “Are you talking about Su Yuan, who’s a diva in both acting and singing?”

“Hahaha… shocked, right? In all of Huaxia, other than Miss Su Yuan herself, which other superstar named Su Yuan is there? She’s the number one sister of both the film and music industries in Huaxia!”

Yan Yanxin was beaming with joy, chattering nonstop, “Let me tell you, in all of Huaxia, even around the world, the stars who have shared the stage with Su Yuan can be counted on one hand! For Yaya to share the stage with her is like the good fortune of eight generations! When the time comes, we’ll even get a close-up view of Su Yuan, for sure! Yaya can definitely get us front-row seats. And if we could get Su Yuan’s autograph or even meet her… hahaha…”

Watching the little girl laugh uncontrollably in her excitement, Lin Tian was somewhat stupefied.

It’s just acting and singing, and merely an autograph at that. Is there any need for such excitement?

Even if it’s a close encounter, what’s there to be happy about!

Lin Tian shook his head, feeling that the craze of fandom was truly terrifying.

He had interacted with Su Yuan on multiple occasions, and to him, she was just a normal woman. He couldn’t understand why the little girl was so frenzied.

“Don’t you like Su Yuan?”

Seeing Lin Tian’s lackluster reaction, Yan Yanxin couldn’t help but ask.

“I don’t pay much attention to this sort of thing!”

Lin Tian shook his head slightly as he said.

“Hmph, boring!”

With a pout and a cold snort, Yan Yanxin said, “I thought you knew everything and could do anything. Wait until the day after tomorrow; I’ll take you to Su Yuan’s concert and show you what it’s all about… She sings well and is beautiful; just don’t fall for her…”

“Okay…”

Lin Tian watched Yan Yanxin’s crazy behavior, resigned to the situation, he half-heartedly agreed.

At that moment, Lin Tian’s phone rang. He pulled it out, and to his surprise, it was Su Yuan calling.

“Lin Tian… can you come over? I’m drunk; I drank something wrong…”

When he answered the phone, Su Yuan’s voice came through, soft and tender, with panic and urgency in her words.

“Where are you now?”

Lin Tian’s expression changed drastically as he asked urgently.

“I… I’m at Tianyue Hotel…”

Su Yuan responded, but after finishing her sentence, a clang was heard from the other end, followed by silence.

Clearly, Su Yuan had passed out.
