Reincarnated As a Fox With System

Chapter 329 Is This Really The Right Thing To Do?

Instructor Mei Lan, Tang Li Xue, and the others urged their Wind Riding Birds to land a few miles from that small town.

They stored their Wind Riding Birds into their space pouches, and all of them decided to head toward the small town by walking to not draw any unwanted attention.

The entrance of this town looked a bit shabby.

There was ʼChangwei Townʼ carved on the wooden nameplate above the townʼs entrance.

Instructor Mei Lan and her students blended with the crowds of people then entered the town with them.

Different from the tightly guarded Quanhai City, this Changwei Town was only a small town after all.

There should be only a few hundred people living in this Changwei Town.

All the houses here were made from the woods from the nearby forest. Almost all of the houses also looked shabby except for a few buildings at the center of the town.

Instructor Mei Lan led Tang Li Xue, Bing Yi, and Hei Yinghao to enter the biggest restaurant in this Changwei Town.

Although this restaurant was the best one in Changwei Town, but the standard still quite low compared with any normal restaurant in a big city like Quanhai City.

Tang Li Xue and the others still followed Instructor Mei Lanʼs rules by not talking since they entered this Changwei Town, but their eyes kept looking around brimming with curiosity.

For Tang Li Xue, this was only the second time she entered the town or city after she reincarnated into this Immortal World.

But for Bing Yi, this was her first time to enter the humanʼs town or city, so she looked the most curious among them all.

As for Hei Yinghao, he looked calm and collected like Instructor Mei Lan, so perhaps this was not only his first or second time.

Instructor Mei Lan chose the table at the left corner of the restaurant and sat on the seat there.

Tang Li Xue and the others followed Instructor Mei Lan and took a seat there too.

Instructor Mei Lan skilfully ordered some foods and drinks from the waiter while asked a few questions to look for some useful information.

”We want to move into this town in the next few days. Can I ask which house is on sale here? My family is quite big, so I want a quite big mansion in the center of the town.” Instructor Mei Lan asked the waiter as she shoved a gold coin into the waiterʼs hand.

The expression of the waiter changed from shocked to delight after he realized what was given by Instructor Mei Lan to him.

”But… It will be quite hard to buy the big mansion in the center of the town right now. There seems to be an important family that moving house into this town just recently and they just bought two biggest mansions in the center of the town.” The waiter reluctantly told Instructor Mei Lan since he was afraid that Instructor Mei Lan would take the gold coin back after she heard it.

”Oh? An important family? Tell me everything you know about this family. I would like to see if I can buy that mansion from them later.” Instructor Mei Lan chuckled and asked again.

The waiter gladly told Instructor Mei Lan everything he knew about it.

This important family came into this Changwei Town was more than a week ago, and they seem to know Changwei Townʼs mayor quite well since they could immediately buy the two biggest mansions at the heart of Changwei Town.

They also had so many experts with high cultivation worked as their guards.

Of course, the experts with high cultivation this waiter had mentioned were only at Qi Cultivation Stage or Acupuncture Opening Stage.

For a small town with Qi Cultivation Stage cultivator as their mayor, all of the cultivators at Qi Cultivation Stage or Acupuncture Opening Stage were already very powerful in their eyes.

Instructor Mei Lan thanked the waiter after she got all the necessary information from him, including the exact locations of those two mansions.

Instructor Mei Lan, Tang Li Xue, and the others did not even touch any of the drinks and foods.

They immediately went out from that restaurant and heading to those two mansions.

Tang Li Xue could not hold her curiosity and asked Instructor Mei Lan: ”Instructor Mei Lan, why we canʼt touch any of the foods or drinks from humans? It is only the foods and drinks from restaurants, so they should be safe, right?”

Instructor Mei Lan rolled her eyes and replied: ”Thatʼs right. Those foods and drinks should be safe. But should you wait until it is not safe to not drink or eat it?! By that time, you should already lose your life, and it would be too late for you to regret it!”

”All of you must always remember to never eat any foods or drinks from the humans. But you can pretend to eat or drink in front of them if you must. You can also use some trick to let them think that you eat or drink it.” Instructor Mei Lan warned her students in a stern tone.

After Instructor Mei Lan and her students walked a few tens of meters away from that restaurant, Instructor Mei Lan turned around and waved her sleeve toward that restaurant.

The people nearby did not find her movement strange at all, but Tang Li Xue, Bing Yi, and Hei Yinghao knew that Instructor Mei Lan actually sent out a compressed vibration sword toward the restaurant.

The transparent vibration sword easily penetrated the wooden wall of the restaurant and slain a few people in there, including the waiter they talked to just now.

”GYAAAA!!!”

”AAAAAHHH~!!!”

The people in that restaurant shouted in shock and fright.

The situation inside the restaurant became really chaotic as the people inside shouted and ran out from there.

”Also, never leave any witness or evidence behind. Many humans are quite smart, so they might be able to use it to track or trace it back to find us.” Instructor Mei Lan said to all of her students before leading them toward the two mansions.

Bing Yi and Hei Yinghao did not feel it strange as they followed Instructor Mei Lan closely from behind.

Only Tang Li Xue still felt so shocked and bewildered.

She took a glance at the restaurant for a few moments before decided to chase after Instructor Mei Lan.

ʼIs… Is this really okay? That people did not even try to attack or hurt us, but we killed them just like that?! That... feel isnʼt right!ʼ Tang Li Xue took a deep breath and think.

Tang Li Xue took a glance at Instructor Mei Lan for a moment, but she looked calm and unperturbed as usual.

Tang Li Xue also looked at Bing Yi and Hei Yinhao, but they still bantered with each other as usual.

Lastly, Tang Li Xue took a glimpse at Yaya and Little Loki, but they looked lazy and sleepy as usual too.

Tang Li Xue felt really uncomfortable with this situation, but she forced herself to not think about it further like them.

It did not take long for Instructor Mei Lan and all of her students to arrive at the two mansions.

It was already night by now, Instructor Mei Lan approached the two mansions with her students, but they immediately blocked by the guards before they even reached the gate of the mansion.

”Stop! Who are you people?! State your identity and business for coming here or we will forcefully arrest you all!” The guards shouted to Instructor Mei Lan, Tang Li Xue, and the others.

Instructor Mei Lan and the other wore their black cloaks and used the black hoods to cover their face, so they looked really suspicious right now.

”Excuse me, Mister Guard. We are the people sent by the town mayor to find Lin Familyʼs mansion, but it seems we are lost right now. Can you please tell us where the Lin Familyʼs mansion really is?” Instructor Mei Lan politely asked the guards while showed her delicate beautiful face to them.

The guards started to hesitate, and they glanced toward each other for a few moments before one of them replied: ”Wait a minute, we will tell our captain about this first. We probably will need to call the city mayor and asked him to attest for your identities.”

However, Instructor Mei Lan already confirmed that this two side by side big mansions belonged to the remains of the Lin Family from their words.

”Bingbing and Silly Fox will go to the right mansion and kill everyone there. Do not let anyone live! I and Little Xue will take the left one.” Instructor Mei Lan instructed her students with her [Telepathy] skill.

Bing Yi and Hei Yinghao nodded to Instructor Mei Lan with solemn expressions before they sprinted to the mansion on the right side.

And thus the night of massacre begins…

Instructor Mei Lan leisurely waved her palm towards the two guards in front of the gate and…

PPPUUUFFFFF~!!!

Their heads soundlessly fell onto the ground.

With compressed vibration from her [Demonic Tune], Instructor Mei Lanʼs had become the sharpest blade capable of tearing even the steel or wall.

Instructor Mei Lan easily cut the front gate into tiny pieces like it was made from tofu and walked into the courtyard of the left mansion.

Tang Li Xue was still stunned silly right now.

She thought they would secretly sneak into the two mansions and assassinate the remains of the Lin Family.

She never thought that they would do it in this fashion.

ʼWh… Why the hell are we doing it like it?! Isnʼt this the job of Executor Class to assassinate people?!ʼ Tang Li Xue screamed in her mind.

”Little Xue, letʼs go! Follow me closely! Do not fall behind!” Instructor Mei Lan warned Tang Li Xue with a stern tone again.
