Reincarnated As a Fox With System

Chapter 302 Three Magic Treasures!

”Today, I will not teach you all about anything, but I will only tell the three of you the ABSOLUTE RULES you must obey no matter what happens in every situation later!” Instructor Mei Lan said as her expression turned really serious and even her tone became very stern.

The expressions of Tang Li Xue, Bing Yi, and Hei Yinghao also became really tense.

”First Rule! My order is always absolute! So, when I ordered you to do something, just do it as swiftly as you can in that instant without any delay! Do not say or ask anything unless I permit you to do so!

”Second Rule! Never leave farther than five steps from me unless I tell you to do so!

”Third Rule! Never talk, ask, or say anything to anyone even among yourselves unless I permit you to do it!

”Fourth Rule! If you have something important… I mean something REALLY REALLY IMPORTANT to tell me, then you can tell me using your [Telepathy] skill! Never say it out if I do not permit you to do so even if you only talk about it softly!”

”Fifth Rule! Never try to act alone without my permission!

”Sixth Rule! Outside of Myriad Foxes Academy, we are normal humans! Never tell or let anyone know about your identity as a Foxes! Not even if you meet the others from the Fox Race outside Myriad Foxes Academy!

”Seventh Rule...

…..

Instructor Mei Lanʼs absolute rules were really simple, but all of them were extremely important.

There were rules like ʼnever start a fight with humans, even if those humans were the ones who started the fight first, just ran away from themʼ!

ʼBut if those humans still insisted on chasing or targeting us, you could eliminate them swiftly without leaving any evidence or trace behind!ʼ

There were also rules like ʼnever trust anyone outside Myriad Foxes Academy other than our own team!ʼ

There were almost thirty absolute rules, but Instructor Mei Lan mentioned them, again and again, to instill them deeply into the mind of her students.

After making sure that Tang Li Xue and the others completely remembered it by telling them to repeat the rules one by one, Instructor Mei Lan finally moved to the other lesson for today.

Instructor Mei Lan took out something from her space pouch and gave them the three items each.

Tang Li Xue, Bing Yi, and Hei Yinghao looked at the three items in front of them with expressions filled with puzzlement.

A folding hand fan, a traditional oilpaper umbrella, and a black cloak~!!!

Tang Li Xue knew this black cloak would be used to cover their furry foxtail, and the hood would be used to cover their fox ears, but these folding hand fan and traditional oilpaper umbrella…

ʼI really do not understand! What the hell are these folding hand fan and traditional oilpaper umbrella used for?!ʼ Tang Li Xue, Bing Yi, and Hei Yinghao thought at the same time, but they did not dare to ask Instructor Mei Lan about it.

Instructor Mei Lan giggled at their constipated looks and took Bing Yiʼs folding hand fan.

”Little Xue, can you set a defensive wall with your divine ability on the empty corner there?” Instructor Mei Lan told Tang Li Xue while pointed her finger at the right corner of the classroom.

Tang Li Xue did not understand what Instructor Mei Lan want to do, but she still obeyed Instructor Mei Lanʼs words and set a defensive wall with her [Energy Manipulation] divine ability.

Instructor Mei Lan elegantly unfolded the folding hand fan and swiftly waved it in the direction of the defensive wall!

SWOOOSSSHHH~!!! TTTSSSSSSSSHH~~!!!

The defensive wall Tang Li Xue made was filled with many tiny holes in an instant!

Tang Li Xue, Bing Yi, and Hei Yinghao dropped their jaws in shock and disbelief.

”Wha… What is just happening?!” Bing Yi murmured with a stunned expression.

”This... Is this the legendary Hidden Weapon?!” Tang Li Xue shouted with an excited tone.

Tang Li Xue ran to check on the defensive wall and Yaya also followed her from behind curiously.

Little Loki did not any sign of interest. It still did not move and only lazily laying down on the top of Tang Li Xueʼs desk.

”This is… black needles? It is so corrosive! So these black needles are poisonous!” Tang Li Xue said when she looked at the many black needles pierced deeply onto the classroomʼs wall behind the defensive wall in amazement.

”Do not look down on this folding hand fan. This fan is actually a Magic Treasure with 9 Arrays. Not only it can shoot poisonous needles, but it also has a poisonous dagger hidden in it!” Instructor Mei Lan explained while closed the unfolding hand fan a bit, and the black dagger tip emerged from inside it.

”When this fan is unfolded, it can also be used as a shield. The material used to make it is not fabric or paper, but Beast Lordʼs skin, so it is very sturdy and not easy to be penetrated by any sharp weapon.” Instructor Mei Lan returned the unfolding hand fan to Bing Yi.

Instructor Mei Lan took a traditional oilpaper umbrella and explained again: ”This umbrella is the same. It cannot only be used as an umbrella when opened, but it can also act as a shield too, and…”

Instructor Mei Lan aimed the closed oilpaper umbrella at the defensive wall once again and opened it!

BBBOOOOOOOOOOMMM~~!!!

The defensive wall had shattered into dust!

Even the classroom wall behind it has a large hole now!

Fortunately, Tang Li Xue, Yaya, Bing Yi, and Hei Yinghao already ran a bit far away from the defensive wall.

ʼHolysh*t?! That is not a Hidden Weapon at all! Is that an RPG (Rocket Propeller Grenade)?!ʼ Tang Li Xue thought with a fearful look as she watched the large hole on the classroomʼs wall.

”This umbrella also has Hidden Exploding Bullet. As you can see, you can use it to make a hole on the wall to escape, or you can also use it to take down a large number of crowds.” Instructor Mei Lan continued her explanation while closed the umbrella again.

”If you turned the handle in the clockwise direction, you can unsheathe the poisonous sword hidden inside the shaft.” Instructor Mei Lan said, as she unsheathed the black sword and showed it to Tang Li Xue and the others.

Tang Li Xue and the others watched at the poisonous sword with expressions filled with amazement again.

Instructor Mei Lan sheathed the black sword back into the umbrella and returned it again to Bing Yi, then she took the black cloak now.

However, before Instructor Mei Lan explained about the black cloakʼs function, Hei Yinghao decided to ask with a curious tone: ”Instructor Lan, we are from the prideful Beast Race, why do we need to use any weapons like humans?”

Instructor Mei Lan smiled gently like always before… slapped the back of Hei Yinghaoʼs head so hard and said: ”Do you already forget the sixth rule? Outside of Myriad Foxes Academy, we are normal humans, and normal humans always fighting with weapons like this!”

”Uhhh… Instructor Lan, I do not think any normal humans will fight with hidden weapons like this… This is really too luxurious.” Tang Li Xue also decided to say her opinion.

Instructor Mei Lan rolled her eyes and replied: ”That is why I said to never pick any fight without any proper reason. I even told you all to run away from any conflict.”

”But luxurious weapons like these also have their own merit. For example, we can intimidate our enemies and said that we are from some powerful background to make them hesitate or they might be even giving up without fighting.” Instructor Mei Lan laughed with a cunning expression.

It seems the veteran Instructor Mei Lan already used this strategy so many times to confuse her enemies in the human world.

Tang Li Xue and the others nodded, and their expressions were filled with enlightenment.

”All right! Next is this black cloak. This black cloak is filled with protection arrays, so it is impervious to fire, water, and sharp weapons. It is also equipped with a wind resistance array, so you do not have to be afraid that it would get blown away by the wind, then your fox ears and foxtail get seen by the others. Also…” Instructor Mei Lan patiently explained again.

Tang Li Xue and the others started to tense up again. They were looking forward to the amazing effect of this black cloak.

Instructor Mei Lan chuckled while injected some of her Vitality Energy into an array hidden in the black cloak.

BBBWWWOOOOOOOSSSHHH~!!!

A pair of huge black bat-like wings appeared behind Instructor Mei Lan in an instant, and she started to flying swiftly for a few laps inside the classroom!

Instructor Mei Lan was flying really fast, leaving several black shadows on her path!

”Wooooahhh~!!! That is really cool!” Bing Yi and Hei Yinghao exclaimed in surprise and clapped their hands excitedly when they saw Instructor Mei Lan flying.

As for Tang Li Xue, she already flew so many times when she was in [Divine Possession] mode with Yaya, so looking at Instructor Mei Lan flew in these huge black bat-like wings did not excite her as much as the other two Magic Treasures with hidden weapons.

She could even use her [Energy Manipulation] to create something and flew by riding on it. The feeling was not that different from flying with those huge black bat-like wings.

After Instructor Mei Lan gracefully landed again in front of them, she continued her explanation: ”If you inject your Vitality Energy into this black cloak, you can activate the Black Wing Array, and you can fly very swiftly. But you must be really careful though since it would drain your Vitality Energy really fast. It is unsuitable for traveling in long-distance, so use it only when you want to escape quickly.”

After explained everything, Instructor Mei Lan started to meticulously instruct them one by one on how to use the three Magic Treasures properly for a few hours before telling Tang Li Xue and the others about the mission they would carry on later.
