Reincarnated As a Fox With System

Chapter 322 Adjust The Timing!

In short, even though all of his subordinates were very loyal to the [Red-Eyes Winged Lizard], but they would still need to follow the order from all the higher-ups.

If the higher-ups of Lizard Clan ordered some of his subordinates to report everything that happened on this mission to them, then his subordinates would not hesitate to tell everything to the higher-ups, including how Tang Li Xue came to their squad and acted as if she was an old friend of their squad leader.

Tang Li Xue and the [Red-Eyes Winged Lizard] discussed for a while about how they should act in front of the giant lizard squad to not make that squad and the higher-ups felt suspicious toward both of them.

In the end, Tang Li Xue and the [Red-Eyes Winged Lizard] decided to act as childhood friends who had not met each other for a very long time.

It was actually Tang Li Xueʼs idea from the novel she read in her previous life. It was a very cliche excuse, but 100% works in every novel story.

The [Red-Eyes Winged Lizard] was already thousands of years old anyway. Having a few hundreds of childhood friends from the other beast races were not strange at all, and it was normal for him to forget some of them.

After discussing it, the [Red-Eyes Winged Lizard] brought Tang Li Xue with him back toward the giant Lizard camp.

Tang Li Xue rode on the back of the [Red-Eyes Winged Lizard] with Yaya and Little Loki, but the [Red-Eyes Winged Lizard] suddenly said to Tang Li Xue: ”Oh, right... Little Lass, you can wear back your fox mask and black cloak right now. You do not need to worry. My subordinates will never dare to attack you with me escorting you here.”

”Uh... All right...” Tang Li Xue felt confused at the Fake Dragonʼs sudden request, but she decided not to ask and wore back her fox mask and black cloak.

Actually, the [Red-Eyes Winged Lizard] also did not know why, but he just felt really uncomfortable and annoyed when all of his subordinates ogled Tang Li Xueʼs beautiful appearance before. That was the reason why he told Tang Li Xue to cover herself again with her fox mask and black cloak.

It did not take long for the [Red-Eyes Winged Lizard] to bring Tang Li Xue and her two companions back to his squad camp.

”Eh? Our Squad Leader has come back!” One of the giant lizards on guarding duty exclaimed when it saw the [Red-Eyes Winged Lizard] landed on the ground near there.

”How about it? Is he coming back alone or...” The other giant lizard immediately asked.

”Yes! I win the bet! Squad Leader really brings that stunning beauty back! Woohoo... Where are your vitality stones?! Gimme, gimme...” The black giant lizard shouted as it jumped in delight.

”Tsk... Squad Leader, how can you betray our trust like this?! We thought you are gay and beauty means nothing to you at all!” The giant lizard team who lost the bet shouted in disappointment.

The expression of the [Red-Eyes Winged Lizard] immediately blackened like a bottom of a pot, while Tang Li Xue almost laughed out loud when she heard their conversation.

”Do all of you really have no other job to do?! All right, then I will give all of you a big job to do! Get ready to sortie in ten minutes! We will attack that humansʼ dwelling place again!” The [Red-Eyes Winged Lizard] shouted with a cold tone to all of his subordinates.

”Understood!” All of the giant lizards shouted at the same time

The [Red-Eyes Winged Lizard] wanted to brief them on the current situation and told all of his subordinates about Tang Li Xue and her Instructorʼs plan.

But the flirty giant lizard sneakily asked Tang Li Xue before the [Red-Eyes Winged Lizard] could do that: ”Hi, little beauty! Why do you wear that ugly mask and gloomy black cloak to cover your charming face now? You should have more confidence in yourself and do not need to be shy to show yourself...”

”Eh? Really? But sorry, I canʼt. Your Squad Leader is the one who told me to cover myself...” Tang Li Xue innocently replied to reject the flirty giant lizardʼs suggestion.

The other giant lizards who accidentally heard Tang Li Xueʼs reply stared at the [Red-Eyes Winged Lizard] with the ʼI know what you feelʼ sign and snickered at him.

”Tsk, tsk, tsk... I never know that our Squad Leader is such a possessive guy. He even feels jealous at us when we only...” One of the giant lizards whispered to its friend, but the [Red-Eyes Winged Lizard] immediately interrupted them with his shout before they could discuss it.

”It seems I give you all too much time! One minute! No one can talk anymore! Or I will punish all of you very harshly!” The [Red-Eyes Winged Lizard] roared in anger.

All of the giant lizards hastened their preparation, and they hastily awoke the other giant lizards who still fell asleep.

In only less than one minute, all of them were already lined up neatly in front of the [Red-Eyes Winged Lizard].

It was truly a sight to behold when the thirty powerful giant lizards lined up so tidily like this.

It was not strange if the army of humans were the ones who did this, but these thirty giant lizards were very powerful [Rare] grade demonic beasts! Each of them has the strength to rival Core Formation Stage from the Human Race.

Even Tang Li Xue was a bit intimidated by the combination of their pressure, although she already knew that they were on the same side as her right now.

There was no trace of flirty or playfulness anymore in their expression right now. They looked cold and expressionless.

At this moment, these thirty giant lizards were one set of the mighty killing machines to obliterate the Lin Family.

”Destination: Lin Familyʼs Residence! Our objective: complete obliteration of Lin Family! Take off!” The [Red-Eyes Winged Lizard] roared his command before unfurled his wide pair of bat-like wings and swiftly flapped it.

The other giant lizards followed the [Red-Eyes Winged Lizard]ʼs movement and all of them soared into the sky right at the same time.

While Tang Li Xue and her two companions rode on the [Red-Eyes Winged Lizard]ʼs back and contacted Instructor Mei Lan that she and the giant lizard squad were already on their way to the Lin Familyʼs Residence right now.

The [Red-Eyes Winged Lizard] also explained to all of his subordinates that Tang Li Xue was his old forgotten childhood friend, but her purpose here was not to meet with him.

The mission of Tang Li Xueʼs team was to make sure that the Ancient Martial Art Manual from the Ancient Ruin got destroyed as soon as possible and saved the female lizard from the Lin Familyʼs place.

The [Red-Eyes Winged Lizard] even told his subordinates that the reason for their first assault failure because Tang Li Xueʼs team helped the human to defend their base.

But she did that because she needs to save the female lizard from the Lin Familyʼs place first before she could let their squad obliterate the Lin Familyʼs place.

”I... I am really sorry about it. But that is my mission, so I...” Tang Li Xue felt guilty, so she decided to apologize, but one of the giant lizards immediately interrupted her before she could finish her words.

”Shhh... Little Beauty, we understand how you feel really well. Do you really think we do not want to save our own kin from the clutches of those cruel humans? Sigh... But, we have our own set of rules in Lizard Clan, so we cannot do anything about it. We actually want to say thanks to you.” One of the giant lizards sincerely said to Tang Li Xue.

” That is right! How can we hate you if what you are doing is only trying to save one of our kin?! Tsk, tsk, tsk... A stunning beauty with a kind and a pure heart... Squad Leader, I really have a crush on her, so if you dare to hurt the heart of this Little Beauty, I will surely take her from you!” The other giant lizard playfully said to the [Red-Eyes Winged Lizard] while laughed.

”Shut up and listen! Our first job is to draw the attention of those humans in that place to us for a few minutes, while the team from Fox Race will make their moves. After they managed to complete their objective, then we could finally complete our own objective to obliterate that humansʼ place. Do you all understand?” The [Red-Eyes Winged Lizard] ended his explanation with a stern tone.

”Understood!” The other lizards immediately replied simultaneously.

Tang Li Xue sighed in relief when she heard the warm replies from all of the giant lizards.

But Tang Li Xue was still really worried about Instructor Mei Lan, Bing Yi, and Hei Yinghao.

ʼI hope Instructor Lan and the others will stay safe, and they will be able to save that pitiful female lizard from the underground dungeon.ʼ Tang Li Xue prayed in her heart.

.

Meanwhile, Instructor Mei Lan immediately brought Bing Yi and Hei Yinghao to the old-looking temple at the corner of Lin Familyʼs place after she received the call from Tang Li Xue that she and the squad of the giant lizards were on their way toward here.

Bing Yi and Hei Yinghao wanted to ask about their plan to save the female lizard, but they held themselves back when they remembered Instructor Mei Lanʼs rules.

Instructor Mei Lan knew what they were thinking and said to them: ”We do not need to move sneakily this time. We will break in forcefully from the front!”

Bing Yi and Hei Yinghao widened their eyes in disbelief and dropped their jaws in shock.

ʼIsnʼt this move too rough and violent? Will we really be alright later if we are doing it this way in the middle of the enemyʼs base?!ʼ Bing Yi and Hei Yinghao thought, as they really did not get what was in Instructor Mei Lanʼs mind.
