I AM the Football Star

Once the Italy Team really wins the European Cup, HXLT will, by riding this move, establish its status in one fell swoop across the world. In the European sportswear market, they’re very likely to go one step further, ranking just behind Ah Ke and Nike, becoming the third giant!

But if they fail, they’ll become a global laughingstock and suffer considerable losses.

The condition of HXLT’s bet is that if the Italy Team fails to win the title, Lu Yang must become HXLT’s lifetime spokesperson!

And LY7, founded by Lu Yang, will be dominated by HXLT, which will obtain 51% of the shares.

If Italy wins the title, then HXLT will only get 14% of LY7’s shares. As for endorsement, they’ll go through standard commercial procedures; whether Lu Yang renews his contract or not will not affect their cooperation on LY7.

Lu Yang agreed.

In fact, this bet works in his favor.

It’s just the difference between earning more and earning less.

LY7 needs HXLT to take a stake no matter what, otherwise without HXLT’s channels, the early stage of LY7 would be very hard to get through. But if he can push their shareholding down to a relatively low level, that would be ideal.

HXLT is actually the side that has to bear the real financial risk.

So since HXLT wants to gamble, Lu Yang will gamble with them.

HXLT cares most about Lu Yang’s endorsement; in their eyes, the LY7 shares are more like a sweetener.

But in Lu Yang’s view, the LY7 shares are actually the most important part.

Whether he endorses or not doesn’t matter; in the sportswear segment he’s not going to endorse Ah Ke and Nike anyway.

He said he’d black them for life, so it’s for life.

It’s not like this is some core technology, chip material or whatever that can’t be replaced.

On this principle, Lu Yang can hold his ground.

And LY7, in Lu Yang’s blueprint, will become a very important piece of his future business empire.

It might even be the piece most widely known to the public.

This will be a never-ending gold mine, providing power for Lu Yang’s other ventures.

His future investments back home will require huge capital support.

Just relying on his football salary is far from enough.

The money from films may come fast, but you only earn when you shoot one, and sometimes you might not even make money when you shoot; at its core it has a gambling nature and is not stable enough.

Only commercial brands can trickle in steadily and provide a stable cash flow.

So the two sides hit it off and locked in this wager.

HXLT then began to go all out with a big fanfare.

Even if they lose the bet instead of winning it, they’ll still become very famous this time; their sneakers will still be sold out by countless people and might even carry extra value.

Because this will be the best proof for mocking Lu Yang and the Italy Team; this kind of ”wrong version” sneaker will be even more commemorative than the official one.

It’s just that Lu Yang and the Italy Team will be nailed to the pillar of shame in history.

This round, both Lu Yang and HXLT are actually playing big.

In addition to a sports brand like HXLT, other types of commercial brands have also set their sights on the blazing-hot Lu Yang.

For example, Blaino and Kiton, two of Italy’s three top suit brands.

One is rooted in Rome, the other originated in Naples, and both are very optimistic about Lu Yang’s commercial value.

Previously, Lu Yang’s endorsement with Armani was only a mere Fifty thousand euros.

These two companies contacted Arthas and said they could offer Lu Yang the highest-level endorsement fees!

Arthas is slowly negotiating with them; after the European Cup ends, Lu Yang may make a choice between them.

But Arthas actually doesn’t have much confidence in this cooperation, because Lu Yang gave Arthas a special demand.

Lu Yang hopes that after he establishes LY7, the first product will be a co-branded one with a top luxury brand.

And on this point, Blaino and Kiton may not agree.

They place great importance on the purity of their brands and won’t easily lend their strength to others.

Co-branding in these two years is no small matter; it’s a major commercial move that concerns brand reputation.

...

That night, the Stade de France was packed to the rafters.

The match was about to begin.

There were many important figures present today.

On the entertainment side, the group of actresses led by Sofia was the most eye-catching.

Remember when Lu Yang first played in the Italian Cup final, Sofia came alone to support him, triggering a media frenzy and countless speculation!

Now, Sofia has turned around completely, transforming from that once-blacklisted European goddess into the hottest up-and-coming director and movie megastar in the Europe and America entertainment circle over the past two years!

With just two films, she pulled off a gorgeous transformation, not only returning to the peak in Europe, but also breaking into Hollywood, with a huge crowd of followers behind her.

The sisters by Sofia’s side today are each a megastar in Europe and the United States.

But right now, they’re all orbiting around Sofia, following by her side under the gaze of cameras from all over the world.

At this moment, although many people still think that this little football star named Lu Yang is not worthy of Sofia, at least they feel that Sofia’s little boyfriend is decent enough, at least he has given Sofia a big enough stage to showcase herself.

Especially this group of actresses from the United States; what they can least accept is a partner who can’t help their career.

They’ve grown keen on dating sports stars because once their boyfriends make it to the finals, they can rightfully appear at the very center of global attention.
