I AM the Football Star

Besides, he is young and theoretically still has room for growth.

Add to that his outstanding performance in this European Cup.

So as soon as this declaration was made, a flurry of paper flew to Bayern’s office.

Countless calls, all for buying Kotler.

But the prices these people offered were really... despicable!

A certain Scottish Super League team offers three million!

A certain Eredivisie team offers four million!

A certain Portuguese Super League team offers five million!

A certain Chinese Super League team offers ten million... well, this one is quite generous, somewhat unexpected.

Within the Five Major Leagues, the highest offer was no more than seven million euros.

It’s not everyone’s valuation of Kotler, but an estimation of the situation.

Offering a few million is quite sincere, as next year everyone has a chance to take Kotler for free, why spend unnecessary money?

Bayern doesn’t care about these few million.

Buy your mom!

If Kotler says he wants to leave, wouldn’t it be quite disgraceful for us Bayern?

However, on the morning of the eighth, Real Madrid sent over a quote.

Fifteen million euros, non-negotiable!

Bayern was conflicted at that moment.

Fifteen million euros!

This is not a small amount.

This sum of money with Bayern could deliver effects worth twenty-five million euros or even thirty million euros.

Everyone understands their buying prices.

Is it the club’s prestige, face, or the fifteen million euros?

No one will offer a higher price than this.

In recent years, essentially Real Madrid sets the ceiling.

The only thing Bayern was a bit puzzled about was... Real Madrid’s frontline is already crowded with superstars, so why buy Kotler?

To warm the bench and hand out towels?

Bayern inquired with Real Madrid about this matter.

Real Madrid openly explained: ”We aren’t planning to use Kotler right now; given our current frontline capabilities, we’ll need an update in about three years, and we want to prepare a few strong midfielders in advance.”

Bayern was shocked to hear this.

This rich?

Spending ten to twenty million on two or three players, placing them on the bench. The salary of one person over two to three years is more than ten million, this is basically a hundred million!

Spending a hundred million in advance just to find successors for Real Madrid’s midfield three years later?

And taking huge risks because possibly none of these people can really succeed?

Don’t just look at Kotler’s reasonable strength; he’s a proper star, but he’s still several levels below the midfield Real Madrid desires.

Bayern calculates its own costs.

But thinking this way, Bayern suddenly felt relieved.

Let Kotler go warm the bench.

Thus, Bayern agreed to the deal in principle.

However, since Real Madrid dared to do this, they must have their reasons.

First, they have confidence in their own judgment; the stars they choose, especially those not yet overvalued, are mostly strong.

Moreover, the price of more than ten million is really not expensive.

Real Madrid, standing at the forefront, surely sees the trend in football?

Fifteen million to buy Kotler now seems luxurious, but even if it’s completely unused, kept for nothing.

As long as he maintains this level, in three years Kotler could be sold for thirty to forty million.

Most likely a profit, or at least a small gain.

The Moneyball wave is already rising.

Inflation and currency depreciation are rapidly occurring in football.

Once Chelsea wins the Champions League, or Manchester City starts rallying troops, the prices of mid to lower-tier players would double in an instant.

Every club has its own strategy.

Bayern selling Kotler for fifteen million feels quite profitable.

Real Madrid buying Kotler for fifteen million also feels like a small gain.

Kotler also wants to leave Bayern, even competing for a substitute position at Real Madrid doesn’t matter.

This kind of everyone-happy deal is indeed a great deal, isn’t it?

Suddenly, everyone was happy.

Except Bayern fans and German fans weren’t happy.

Especially Bayern fans.

They think Kotler should be sold at a normal price of twenty-five million euros or even be taken away by Premier League giants for thirty million, forty million.

From their perspective, their thoughts aren’t wrong.

But if one day they become Kotler, perhaps they’ll realize what they have done before.

And for some reason, these Bayern fans unanimously directed their focus, insults, and attacks towards a person named Lu Yang.

When Lu Yang opened social platforms before the game, he was almost stunned.

How is this related to him?

It’s Real Madrid buying, not San Remo.

It’s the German National Team dismissing, it’s Bayern selling, it has nothing to do with Lu Yang.

Why are you scolding me?

Just because I became the Spiritual Leader of AC Milan, leading them to defeat you in the Champions League final?

Just because I stood up for Kotler when he was besieged, spoke fairly for him? Exposed the dark behavior of Bayern’s coaching staff evading responsibility? And thus triggered dissatisfaction among the German team players towards the head coach, leading to Germany’s humiliating defeat by France and embarrassing exit?

This... seems like they aren’t really wrong in scolding him.

Lu Yang calmly accepted these insults.

But unexpectedly, these fans weren’t satisfied, cursing Italy to be eliminated while directly bullying the club and other players under San Remo’s official platform.

Morici, Canyes, Camihong, Naji were all scolded.

Including Talista in another dressing room at the Toulouse Stadium, who was also cursed.

Talista was completely speechless.

I’ve never even been to San Remo, you can scold Brother Lu, but why not spare me?
