I AM the Football Star

This is fate.

This also belongs to part of ”award luck”.

In various authoritative awards, there are actually these thresholds.

You have to pass each hurdle to finally have a chance to compete fairly for the highest honor.

Wanting to achieve it all at once is impossible, unless you crush the entire era with an invincible posture!

And now, if Lu Yang can solely lead the team into the European Cup finals, it’s enough to knock on the door of the Golden Ball Award’s 30-man shortlist, and even exceed it by far!

But even if it exceeds, it’s just wasted. No matter how much he kicks the sky apart this year, his limit is the 30-man shortlist.

This is Lu Yang’s English level four!

But once they start dividing the cake, then Lu Yang might not even have 425 points. Even though in actuality, he might get over 430 points, the media won’t report it that way. They will say he’s only at a 400-point level.

They just want to create conflict, because that’s how they make money.

”I understand everything you are saying,” Lu Yang said, ”But what I want is not some Golden Ball Award shortlist.”

Zidane was taken aback.

If he doesn’t want the Golden Ball Award shortlist, then what does he want?

Who could refuse the call of the Golden Ball Award shortlist?

After entering the shortlist, the next step is the top ten, top five, and then the Golden Ball Award!

Who could refuse?

”What I’ve always wanted isn’t the honor bestowed upon me by the media or even the fans... What I want, I will take with my own hands, and no one can take it away,” Lu Yang said, ”What I’ve always wanted, is just the championship!”

”Honors, Golden Boots, Assist King, Best XI, various selections, are merely spoils I’ve gained on my journey to the championship.”

”My battle is a battle for the championship!”

A flash of brilliance appeared in Zidane’s eyes: ”You have great ambition! But you shouldn’t set the championship of this European Cup as your goal, we have already reserved this championship trophy for France!”

”I said it!”

Between the two, just a moment ago they were master and disciple, but now it’s tense and confrontational.

Lu Yang slowly opened his mouth: ”But... I’m also determined to take this De Laurant Cup! Even if it’s France, Jesus couldn’t keep it... I said it!”

Beep beep beep!

The two hung up the phone simultaneously.

They both looked at the night view outside the window, full of anticipation for the next match.

Half an hour later, Lu Yang responded to the topic ”Who is credited for Italy entering the European Cup final” on his social platform.

Lu Yang: ”For Italy Team to have reached this point, it’s credited to everyone, a typical form of victory through team spirit. If we must talk about contributions, each person is a contributor.”

”Without Maniero, we wouldn’t have such a clear strategy, nor such an appropriate formation.”

”Without Audi, Bernulin, Chiavich, and Drake, our locker room wouldn’t have such a harmonious and positive atmosphere.”

”Without Praxedes, we might have gone home in the group stage.”

”Without Perrotta, how could we have defeated England?”

”Without Ancelotti, how could we have conquered Spain?”

”Without Canyes, we couldn’t have been strong on both wings! Without Morici, our attacking efficiency wouldn’t be there. Without Pellegrini, our midfield would be torn apart by the opponent! Without Kolber, Sogel, Lam, and other players, our formation wouldn’t have lasted until now.”

”Every single person! Every step we took was filled with everyone’s sweat. If I had to name the greatest contributor, I would say it’s our unyielding will to win! Our relentless pursuit of the championship!”

”Thirty years? Or fifty years? Italy has never won this honor, generation after generation have worked towards this. Even Maniero and Sotu once stood on the very stage we’re on now.”

”But that time, we failed.”

”I think... this time, it’s our time to win!”

”All media and football friends across European Football, you don’t need to discuss who is credited for Italy reaching the European Cup finals, what you really should be discussing is... whether Italy Team can take the De Laurant Cup from France!”

”And I can tell you the answer in advance... We’ve got this trophy!”

Championship declaration!

Lu Yang issued a championship declaration!

And it seemed the entire Italy Team was waiting for this moment, as the whole team shared Lu Yang’s post with their own comments within three minutes.

Is there any need to divide the cake of merely the finals?

The championship is more important than anything!

The runner-up is the biggest loser!

At this moment, the whole Italy Team was united.

The European Continent was shaken by this!

Especially the French media, on one hand, were very angry that someone dared to reserve the European Cup championship trophy that belonged to their France in advance?

On the other hand, they felt the inevitable spirit of victory from Italy Team.

Before this, no Frenchman considered Italy Team a real opponent.

In their eyes, Italy Team wasn’t as good as German Team, not even as good as the Spain and English teams they had personally eliminated.

But now, everyone was waking up from a dream.

The Italy Team... the wolves are here!

...

”Ding! You have received a gift of Peak Cards from Praxedes, Perrotta, and Ancelotti! Acquired star skills, Captain, High-altitude Work, Fox in the Penalty Area!”

”Captain, your coordination with the teammates who believe in you will become more seamless!”

”High-altitude Work, when you’re in the air, you become more at ease, higher, faster, stronger!”

”Fox in the Penalty Area, your attacking instincts are terrifying, you’re always able to break through enemy’s offside traps, sneaking into the penalty area unnoticed!”
