I AM the Football Star

”You can’t let the hardworking people in the team feel chilled, and you can’t let the rotten apples in the team run wild. Otherwise a team like this has no future at all!”

”If Bayern can’t give Collette fairness in this matter, and at the same time severely punish the mastermind behind the scenes, then such a Bayern is nothing to worry about!”

”A single rat dropping spoils a whole pot of soup. Even if they’d run into our San Remo a month ago, this kind of Bayern still wouldn’t have been able to win!”

Boom! Boom! Boom!

This segment of the interview was originally being broadcast live.

Lu Yang’s furious accusations instantly spread through the entire football world.

A lot of people felt totally baffled.

You’re not properly preparing for your own game, and you’re actually sitting around eating gossip about someone else’s German Team?

Are you crazy?

But more people in the industry also developed a new understanding of Lu Yang.

What a straightforward guy.

He has zero connection with Collette, yet he still stood up and openly blasted the German Team and Bayern Munich over this?

Is he Guo Jing or what?

Has to meddle in everything, determined to uphold fairness in the Martial Arts world?

On social media, things instantly blew up because of Lu Yang’s statement.

”What the hell? At a time like this, Italy’s players aren’t thinking about how to pack up and go home, but are instead paying attention to the affairs of a semifinal team?”

”The match hasn’t even started yet, what gives anyone from Italy the right to be packing up and going home?”

”With that kind of gossip-eating attitude, I guarantee this guy called Lu Yang won’t play well in this match!”

”Exactly, he hasn’t even sorted out his own mess yet, his penalty with Ancelotti is still a total disaster.”

”Did you not watch Ancelotti’s interview? Even Ancelotti himself has already let it go, what the hell are you getting worked up about? Reverse-troll?”

”Exactly, there’s no problem inside Italy, so any reverse-trolling clowns can get lost early.”

”To be fair, what Lu Yang said is actually pretty damn cool. I also think the public opinion over in Germany is really weird; they suddenly just started bashing Collette out of nowhere.”

”Yeah, three assists in the European Cup, that’s a great stat. His performances on the pitch have been good too, his vision and close control are rock solid. And then out of nowhere people start tearing him down!”

”If Germans had even half a brain, this is exactly the time when they shouldn’t be messing with the unity of the German Team, right? Imploding in advance—how are you still gonna fight for the title?”

”The key thing is, dumping the blame for Bayern losing the title onto a youngster like Collette is just absurd!”

”Is it really that hard to admit that Izalelt is unbeatable right now? Feels like Bayern fans are being used here.”

”I think Lu Yang has a point; it feels like someone in Bayern’s coaching staff is trying to divert the blame.”

”One Collette affecting the Bayern dressing room? Obviously impossible! But I do think some assistant coach’s opinions might have influenced Bayern’s tactical adjustments in the second half, and then...”

As the discussion deepened, people dug up more genuinely useful information.

But what really left a bitter taste was that this assistant coach was a connected figure placed there by Bayern’s higher-ups, and he also had an excellent personal relationship with the current Bayern head coach.

His previous behavior of scapegoating Collette had already received tacit approval from some people.

Even now, after everything came to light, this guy still wasn’t punished by Bayern; he was just shifted from the coaching staff to the scouting department, with no change in his benefits.

Clearly, Bayern intend to protect this connected insider.

When he heard this news, Collette broke down in tears.

He’s been carrying far too many things he never should have had to bear.

He felt deeply wronged.

The way Bayern treated him left him utterly heartbroken.

”Hey... I’m not apologizing to anyone. If you still want to be my agent, then the very moment the German Team’s run at this European Cup ends, you announce to the outside world that I’m leaving Bayern immediately... leaving! At any cost! Leaving!”

Collette smashed his phone in rage.

I treated you like treasure, you treated me like a clown.

It doesn’t work like that!

On the back line they have the Premier League’s number one left-back, Arsenal’s Ashley Gordon.

Arsenal centre-back Solcan White.

Chelsea’s iron-blooded Captain Tessli.

Manchester United’s flying full-back, O’Shea Neville.

The keeper is Arsenal’s Marduk.

Aside from Rashim being slightly less proven, everyone else is an all-star player with both ability and name recognition.

Even Rashim is hugely popular in England, because his football really does bring people joy!

Italy, meanwhile, have made some minor tweaks to their lineup.

Ancelotti, Perrotta

Lu Yang

Finger, Drake, Morici

Praxedes, Bernulin, Chiavich, Canyes

Audi.

Finger has replaced Pellegrini as a starter in this match because he’s been in better form in training.

Right now Maniero is looking for the midfielder who can best generate chemistry with Morici and Lu Yang.

At defensive midfield, barring surprises, Lam will come on as a substitute.

But Drake still has to keep things steady to start with.

Canyes has now firmly nailed down his starting spot.

Tweeet!

With a whistle, the match begins.

Perhaps inspired by Lu Yang, after receiving the ball Rashim took a quick look up and then went straight for an ultra-long lob from the halfway line!
