I AM the Football Star

After turning around, Ancelotti felt much more relaxed.

If he didn’t deliberately want to be interviewed, how could he have been intercepted by the reporters from The Times?

Does the other party really think Ancelotti lacks this bit of experience?

Ancelotti’s interview sparked a lot of discussions.

”Magnanimous, Ancelotti is so magnanimous.”

”Retreat bravely, Ancelotti made the right decision.”

”It’s right to take a break, his penalty state has been too poor recently, continuing would be bad for everyone.”

”Don’t say, Lu Yang indeed is a big-hearted player, suitable for penalties.”

”Actually, Morici’s technique is also good.”

”After Ancelotti, the penalty rights should belong to Perrotta, right?”

”Finger was also the first penalty taker at Inter!”

”Finger is on the bench, what penalty is he taking?”

”Praxedes is also very steady with penalties.”

”How come as soon as Ancelotti let go, the penalty rights became hard to divide?”

”Perrotta is the most respected and is also a front-line player. But Lu Yang performed excellently; his support is high. However, Lu Yang is ultimately inexperienced, if he takes penalties, it might be hard to convince everyone, other players might have opinions.” Some experts provided their professional opinions.

Italy Team players, coaching staff meeting room.

”I have no objections.” Pellegrini spoke while raising his hand.

”No objections.” Drake raised his hand.

”I support letting Lu Lai take the penalty.” Bernulin stated.

”No objections.” Chiavich, Audi, and others followed suit.

”I also have no objections.” Perrotta similarly had no objections.

It was almost unanimously passed.

From here, the Italy Team’s first penalty taker was set as... Lu Yang!

This was the first time Lu Yang took on such a clear responsibility.

He expressed that there was still some pressure, but he would try his best to do well.

The first penalty taker is not only about taking penalties, but also understanding how to reasonably distribute the penalties, so that the team can be more harmonious.

Some players need continuous penalty taking to maintain their penalty rights, once given away, it’s difficult to get the rights back.

This means that the player has no control over the team.

The first penalty taker with absolute control is one who dares to share penalty rights with teammates at appropriate times.

For example, someone rarely scores twice and is hoping for a penalty hat-trick.

Not giving the person the penalty is certainly justified, but it could also hurt the relationship.

In football, professionalism is very important.

But any professionalism devoid of subjective likes and dislikes is nonsense.

Because people simply can’t abandon their subjective emotions and feelings, otherwise you’d be a robot!

...

Before the England and Italy match, players from both sides gave some evaluations and opinions on the opponent.

Liverpool captain Jelando: ”Lu Yang is a phenomenal young player, his spirit attribute is very strong, which inspired me. When we play against them, we definitely won’t take it lightly because they never give up!”

Arsenal forward Walter: ”Italy’s defense is strong, coupled with Lu Yang’s sweeping play, our biggest difficulty in the upcoming match will be how to break their defense. My speed is very fast, I am confident I can achieve this, but the premise is I can’t be tangled up by Lu!”

Arsenal center-back White: ”Italy’s front line is different now, they have demonstrated very sharp attacking abilities in this European Cup. Especially Lu, he is very difficult to defend, this will be a major test for England’s defense!”

Arsenal left-back Ashley Gordon: ”I have faced Canyes; he is too young. But Lu Yang’s presence might become the biggest problem for England’s two-wing attack; we must bypass him. The good news is Walter and I each occupy one side, Lu Yang can only choose one.”

Arsenal goalkeeper Marduk: ”I’m in good form, I have confidence in blocking any football. But personally, I hope Lu Yang doesn’t get a chance to shoot; even if you block his shot, your hand will feel very uncomfortable.”

Marduk looked like he had blocked Lu Yang’s shots.

But according to statistics, in the Europa League final of Arsenal vs. San Remo, Marduk faced Lu Yang’s three shots on target and couldn’t block any of them, which led to Lu Yang achieving the youngest hat-trick honor in the Europa League and its final.

All who have played against Lu Yang compliment him endlessly, and their words reveal trepidation.

But players who have not played against Lu Yang cannot hold him in such high regard.

Chelsea midfielder Frank Redkrap: ”Lu Yang is excellent, but he is only nineteen years old. I understand the challenges these players face; they are never stable in performance. Our actual focus should be on players like Ancelotti, Praxedes, Pellegrini, and Finger.”

Manchester United star Wayne MacLorin: ”I know this kid, previously there were many media reports that Manchester United would bring him over, but from what I know, Manchester United doesn’t necessarily need him. He is just one amongst many targets for Manchester United, not special.”

Chelsea captain Tessli: ”I am a Lu Chui, I like his toughness. But I must say, before having faced him, I cannot offer him higher evaluation.”

”Because the adult’s field isn’t Italian Third Division or Italian D Division. I will give him English Super League level pressure, and hope he won’t hold it against me.”

Manchester United right-back O’Shea Neville: ”If the Lu you are talking about can burst past me, then I would desperately suggest Manchester United sign him this summer window, and will do everything to make it happen.”
