Hogwarts: I Am an Exemplary Wizard

Chapter 1164: Chapter 824: Familiar Face, Percy’s Return_2

”Do nothing,” Kael thought for a moment, ”Is this what my mom meant?”

”The first rule is,” the Unspeakable said, ”You should understand that she definitely wouldn’t agree to you using the Time Turner. I can relay the message for you, but the answer is likely to be the same.”

”No need, thank you.” Kael shook his head, turned around, and was ready to leave.

But he quickly stopped, turned back and asked, ”Do we know each other?”

”Sort of,” the other person said.

”Who are you?”

This time the Unspeakable didn’t speak, just reached out to open the suddenly appearing black door.

She walked inside, only to say lightly, ”You’ll find out, but not now.”

The door closed, then merged with the wall and disappeared again in front of Kael.

He tried to shout a couple of times, but there was no response from the surroundings.

”What a strange person,” Kael muttered quietly.

He walked onto the elevator once more, returning to the bustling main hall, contemplating the Unspeakable’s words, and trying to match her image with familiar faces in his memory.

But he thought for a long time without being able to determine who she really was; none of the people in his memory seemed to match.

Kael kept thinking as he crossed through the bustling main hall and headed to the fireplace corridor.

He probably didn’t spend more than an hour on the ninth level, and in that time, Chris couldn’t possibly have returned from the Hesidiri Islands.

So Kael didn’t look for him anymore, he simply used the fireplace to return to the Shabby Residence.

...

”Fred, George, quiet down a bit!”

”Charlie, can you help me grab a cushion? This chair is too hard.”

”Mom, you already put two cushions there, why can’t you just let him stay in St Mungo’s?”

”Yeah, maybe the big-headed boy can write a brilliant report on the softness of hospital beds.”

”More brilliant than a cauldron-bottom report.”

”You’re ruining his career...”

...

The Shabby Residence was filled with a clamor of voices.

When Kael jumped out of the fireplace, everyone instinctively looked over.

”Sorry to bother you... Oh, Percy, when did you get back?” Kael said in surprise, looking at the thin figure seated in the middle.

Percy Weasley had been caught in the crossfire during the Death Eaters’ attack on the Ministry of Magic, and he had been sent to St Mungo’s after being hit with the Crucio Curse and Imperio.

Didn’t expect him to be discharged so quickly.

”Just moments ago, Mom brought me home half an hour ago.” Percy’s voice was somewhat weak.

”Why not stay a few more days?” Kael went over and noticed that Percy’s complexion was still pale, and his red hair was dull.

”I know the headmaster there; you could totally recuperate peacefully.”

”You can’t recuperate in that place,” Percy shook his head, ”It’s too crowded. Next to me was someone afflicted by strange Dark Magic, who would periodically believe he was a snake, crawling all over the room. Last night he even broke free from the Healer’s restraints, crawled onto me, and tried to swallow me whole.”

Recalling this, Percy involuntarily shuddered.

Fred and George, on the other hand, were laughing so hard they almost fell over,

Fred laughed to the point of tears, ”That guy started swallowing Percy from his feet.”

”I bet he won’t want to eat anything reckless after that,” George said, leaning on the table.

”Can you two be quiet for a moment?” Mrs. Weasley tried to keep a stern face, seemingly struggling to hold back her laughter.

”Still, we owe that person some gratitude,” she said, ”Thanks to him, Percy woke up so quickly.”

”I bet Percy doesn’t want to thank him,” Fred said, raising an eyebrow.

Percy indeed didn’t want to.

Waking up to find someone trying to swallow your leg, such an event could become a lifelong psychological shadow... Greater than the shadows from both the Imperio and Crucio combined.

It was precisely because of this that Percy had hurriedly informed Bill, who was guarding the ward, to have Mrs. Weasley bring him home.

”If that’s the case, maybe I should contact Professor Cecily to change Percy’s room,” Kael said, ”Treating Unforgivable Curses, St Mungo’s is the expert.”

”Thanks for your kindness, Kael, but really, it’s not necessary.”

At this moment, Mrs. Weasley also came over, placing a large tray of candies on the table.

”I asked the Healers when I picked him up just now. They said Percy didn’t endure the Unforgivable Curses for long, so as long as he’s awake, there’s no issue; resting at home is better than at St Mungo’s afterwards.”

”That’s right,” Percy nodded, ”I’ve felt much more relaxed since coming back here.”

”Hey, who exactly are you!” Fred suddenly shouted, startling everyone.

George also pointed his wand at Percy, ”No matter who you are, don’t use Imperio to control Percy!”

”You two...”

Mrs. Weasley, startled, angrily rolled up her sleeves, ready to pinch their ears.

Fred quickly dodged Mrs. Weasley’s hand, earnestly saying, ”Mom, you’ve all been tricked. Percy couldn’t have said ’The Shabby Residence is comfortable.’”

”Yeah, he said it was depressing here back then and he’d never come back!” George chimed in.

Mrs. Weasley’s actions stopped, her expression complicated.

Because Percy indeed had said that back then, when Voldemort hadn’t yet revealed himself and the Ministry of Magic was denying the claim of his return.

At that time, Percy insisted on siding with Fudge, even at the cost of breaking ties with his family, and hadn’t returned since then.
