Chapter 386: Chapter 380: Demon Monk

Will Chenxi’s people come here?

Su Changxing clung to the outside of the wall, sensing that the visitors had already left, revealing a thoughtful expression.

He didn’t leave either, just clung to the eaves, hiding his figure, and indeed those people didn’t notice him.

Originally, he had a bit of a killing intent, but he let it go. Now he’s not convenient for action, causing a commotion would be troublesome.

Chenxi’s influence in this area was even greater than he had anticipated, probably continuously expanding from the start, recruiting a large number of people.

After they left, Su Changxing returned to his original position to lie down, browsing posts, and he came across a post titled ”Demon Monk”.

The original poster saw a monk slaughter an entire group, and attached a not-so-clear photo of a bald monk covered in blood.

Su Changxing immediately got excited, isn’t this Monk Weihuo?

Was it Chenxi’s people who posted it, or someone else who saw it by chance?

He browsed the replies and found everyone condemning the monk for killing compatriots, calling him a psychopath and a madman, warning others to stay away if they spotted him.

A very familiar feeling... Su Changxing was almost certain, the poster was Chenxi’s people, and some of the replies below were too.

Even at the end of the world, there are still such things as internet trolls.

But Su Changxing could only watch without commenting, while memorizing the IDs of the poster and some of the repliers.

Nearing dusk, Su Changxing once again saw the monk, carrying a machete, fiercely walking over from the stairs, his eyes bloodshot and full of red streaks.

Blood was still dripping from the machete, as if he had just killed someone.

”I went to see Liu Fu, he said the order received was to kill all the monks, leaving none behind.”

Monk Weihuo sat cross-legged in front of Su Changxing, lowering his head, hoarsely saying.

Su Changxing pondered and said, ”So, it’s targeting you monks?”

The monk nodded, full of indignation:

”What wrong have we done? To save others, most of our brothers entered the No-Man’s Land, upholding our beliefs, disregarding life and death. On what grounds do they do this!”

Su Changxing nodded in agreement: ”Indeed, it’s unjustified, but I’m more concerned about why they’re doing it.”

The monk took a deep breath, calming a bit, saying: ”I don’t know, Liu Fu doesn’t know either, it’s just orders from above, they’re just executing them... they’re not really the culprits, just tools.”

Weird, very weird.

Could it be that someone high in Chenxi was cuckolded by a monk before Doomsday, now seeking personal vengeance?

Hmm, that seems unlikely.

Su Changxing forced himself not to overthink, coming back to himself, ”Hmm, what were you doing before you went in?”

The monk hesitated, saying, ”We were clearing some doll-like monsters?”

Su Changxing asked: ”Doll-like monsters? What are those things?”

The monk, puzzled that Su Changxing didn’t know about them, explained:

”It’s a doll made of twigs, very eerie, like legendary demons, can amplify negative emotions of surrounding people, and we don’t know where these creepy things came from, just following tasks from the Doomsday Game to complete.”

”These things...”

Su Changxing originally thought he hadn’t seen what the monk described, but suddenly thought of Geng Yong, and the image of that arm hanging on the branches.

Could it be the same thing?

But there were no such things in their area before either.

Indeed, while there’s no threat from the Hunter over here, it’s not as simple as it seems.

Su Changxing’s eyelids twitched, changing the subject, ”Monk Weihuo, you didn’t bring others along, did you?”

The monk showed a confident expression, ”No, I made sure no one followed before coming over.”

Before he finished speaking, a voice came from the staircase.

”Quick, that bald donkey is just upstairs, kill him, and we can all get stronger.”

”He’s done for, we can definitely kill him.”

...

The monk’s expression immediately stiffened, not expecting to actually be followed, apologizing, ”Donor Su, I’m sorry, I seem to have implicated you.”

Su Changxing immediately flipped over the wall with one hand, hiding his figure, saying, ”No problem, just pretend I’m not here, good luck! Keep it up!”

The monk widened one eye: ”...”

The first person rushed out of the building, stopping abruptly five or six meters outside the door.

He dressed in black tight clothes, holding a machete, seeing the monk, shouted:

”You can’t escape, daring to kill Chenxi’s people, humph, aren’t you tired of living, even if you’re an Extraordinary, so what.”

Soon, a group of more than ten or twenty people formed a circle around, each of them very strong, at least having been enhanced five times.

The monk wiped the blood from his face, sneered, ”You are indeed overbearing, not only want to kill, but also not allowing resistance, you are more disgusting than those zombies below.”

Then, he began chanting scriptures softly, his eyes flickering with golden light, his muscles suddenly swelled, his body towering, lifting his knife, he advanced to kill.

At the same time, a person at the rear raised both hands, a lightning bolt pierced through the monk’s body, wrapping a nearby water pipe with electric eels.

This attack didn’t bring the monk down, but made him feel numb, actions delayed.

The chant in the monk’s mouth suddenly changed, becoming deeper, voice louder, the person at the front suddenly got dazed, and his head was chopped off.

But there were many opponents, he killed three, also received three cuts, he was on the verge of collapse, his energy nearly exhausted.

Seeing a person raise a knife to chop down his head.

Gunfire erupted from behind the monk.

”Bang bang bang~”

Su Changxing poked his head out from the wall, emptied a magazine, seven or eight people had their heads blown off, falling into a pool of blood.

The person with Electric Eel superpower was specially taken care of by Su Changxing, hit with two shots in the forehead.

”You’re not capable of this, forcing me to take action.”

Su Changxing said helplessly, casually changing the magazine.

The others saw this, hurriedly ran towards the door, but at this time, a ghostly green thing blocked the door, closing it at once.

Seeing this, the monk got up and attacked again, instantly knocking someone to the ground, stabbing his back with a knife.

Su Changxing leisurely eliminated the remaining people with his pistol one by one, amidst the gunshots, one person couldn’t bear the pressure and leapt off the building.

He probably intended to jump to the lower floor, but without experience, instead fell to the ground below, dying miserably.

Su Changxing put away his gun, smiled at the monk and said, ”Weihuo, these people were all killed by you, doesn’t have anything to do with me.”
