Reborn As Noble

Inside the Main Operation Building.

Operation Room.

After Javier made a precise, clean incision on Gracelle’s stomach, the dark veins began to writhe. The floating cubes glowed white, with the cube between her legs pulsing brightly, trapping the curse parasite and preventing it from escaping.

”Make sure when you perform an operation like this, your Purify skill is always active,” Javier said from behind his mask, his gloved hands glowing with a soft white light. ”Ensure your sweat doesn’t drop into the surgical area, even though the room temperature is perfectly controlled.”

”Yes, Your Highness.”

He glanced at Myra, Kalea, and Juria before turning his gaze toward Liana. He then reached for a new tool crafted from mithril, already sterilized, and linked its magic to the floating cube in the center. ”Now, make sure everyone focuses. Juria?”

”Yes, Your Highness?”

”Monitor the patient’s vitals closely and alert me if anything changes.”

”As you command, Your Highness.”

”Mm...” Javier nodded and slowly reached toward the incision area, using a self-retaining retractor to hold the incision open. He carefully guided the glowing mithril rod into the cavity, glowing with his Purify skill, and began to draw the curse parasite toward the cube, slowly sucking it in.

He noticed the curse parasite moving like dark, writhing tentacles, trying to grip Gracelle’s internal organs. ”Myra, cast the Purify skill now.”

Myra nodded and pointed her palm at a safe distance behind the floating cube, channeling her advanced Purify skill. A soft, glowing light enveloped the area, slowly purifying the curse parasite as Javier’s tool continued to draw it into the cube.

”Liana?”

”Yes, Young Master?” Liana moved to his side.

”Please start channeling your Purify skill.” He mumbled softly while focusing on drawing the curse parasite out. ”Since this parasite has been living inside her body for so long, her system has grown weak and vulnerable.”

Liana smiled behind her mask and closed her eyes.

”By starlight woven and spring’s first breath,

I unbind the blight, I cleanse this death.

Let root and radiance make pure once more,

Be whole, as thou wast before.”

A beautiful, shimmering light filled the room. Soft green and brilliant white intertwining like woven threads of life and purity. The light enveloped Gracelle’s body, and a high-pitched, inhuman shriek echoed faintly as the curse parasite dissolved into mist before being drawn into Javier’s tool. Gracelle’s skin, once deathly pale, slowly regained a healthy, gentle glow.

Myra, Juria, and Kalea’s eyes widened in awe as Javier carefully withdrew his tool and examined the incision area. The organs inside were now clean, free of any dark veins or traces of the curse parasite.

He narrowed his eyes, checking the incision carefully before turning his attention to the vitals monitor. Everything was perfectly normal. Her breathing steady, oxygen levels stable, pulse strong and regular, and all other vital signs within healthy ranges.

”Mm... time to close the incision.” Javier mumbled softly before focusing his eyes on Myra.

”Start channeling your healing skill into your hands.”

”As you command, Your Highness.” Myra nodded.

”Now, to close this incision...” Javier explained, ”since magic healing can close wounds more cleanly and efficiently than sutures, we’ll use it to ensure no scarring and minimal recovery time.”

He reached over and carefully removed the self-retaining retractor, gently releasing the tension on the incision edges and setting the tool aside on a sterile tray.

After removing the retractor, he glanced at Myra. ”Now, reach for that tool.” He pointed toward a mithril instrument designed to channel healing magic directly into tissue, allowing for precise, seamless closure of the incision. ”Use it to guide your healing skill from the bottom of the incision upward, ensuring it closes evenly and without leaving any scar tissue.”

”Make sure you channel Cure, Healing, and Purify skills at the same time.” Javier explained while slowly pointing toward where Myra should start. ”Begin from here, but don’t touch the skin directly.” He guided Myra’s hand toward the lower end of the incision.

Myra nodded and began channeling her skills. The mithril tool glowed softly as she slowly closed the first section of the incision, the skin knitting together seamlessly without a trace of scarring.

”Now, make sure the incision is properly closed before moving upward slowly, like this.” Javier explained while gently guiding Myra’s hand. The incision closed perfectly, layer by layer, leaving no mark behind.

”Good. Keep doing that, and make sure your hand stays steady. Juria, check the monitoring system. And Kalea?”

”Yes, Your Highness?”

”Focus on how Myra is performing this procedure so you can learn it for the future.”

”As you command, Your Highness.”

Javier exhaled softly in relief the moment the incision closed perfectly.

Gracelle’s stomach was now smooth and flawless, as if it had never been cut. The dark veins and sinister presence were completely gone, leaving only beautiful, healthy skin.

”Now, for the final step, the post-operative phase. You three should focus on this.”

He began the post-operative process while explaining it to them. ”First, we clean the surgical site thoroughly to remove any residual antiseptic or debris.” He demonstrated, gently wiping the area with sterile gauze soaked in a mild cleansing solution.

He continued, showing them how to remove the ”dirty” drapes that had been used during the surgery, carefully folding and discarding them into the designated contamination bin.

After ensuring the area was clean, he moved on to changing Gracelle’s gown and applying the protective dressing. ”This is called a Tegaderm dressing. It acts as a shield, protecting the incision site while allowing the skin to breathe.” He applied it slowly and perfectly over Gracelle’s stomach.

He glanced at the vitals monitor, everything was perfectly normal and stable. ”Kalea, Juria?”

”Yes, Your Highness?”

”Go and get the transport stretcher from the next room and bring it here. Make sure to cast Purify and Cleanse skills on it before pushing it in, even though I’ve already sterilized it.”

”As you command, Your Highness.”

After they both headed out of the operation room, Javier glanced toward Myra.

”Myra?”

”Hmm? Yes, Your Highness?”

”I’ll need your help to lift the patient again and transfer her to the transport stretcher later, just like before.”

”Don’t worry, Your Highness. Your wish is my command.”
