Reborn As Noble

After they finished dressing Gracelle in the surgical gown, Javier opened the gown at the stomach area.

Liana looked at him. ”Young Master?”

”Hmm? Yes?” he said while lifting and folding the gown upward, tucking it securely under her breasts and placing a Chux pad beneath her to protect the bedding.

”You made her wear the gown, and yet...” Liana teased subtly, a small smile playing on her lips.

Javier narrowed his eyes at her before focusing back on the task. ”It’s because this is part of the preparation for the surgical area using the clipping method,” he explained while reaching for his magical mana clipper. ”With this, we’ll completely remove the hair around the surgical area to minimize infection risk.”

He glanced at Myra and her two assistants. ”Myra, Kalea, Juria.”

”Yes, Your Highness?”

”Pay attention to this. That includes you, Liana. You’ll also need to learn this.”

”As you wish, Young Master.” Liana smiled and nodded.

He lifted the mana clipper and aimed it at Gracelle’s stomach area. The tool emitted a soft, glowing light and a faint humming sound as it gently removed all the tiny hair from her skin, leaving the area smooth and clean. ”This method ensures the area is completely hair-free and sterile, reducing the risk of infection during surgery.”

Javier then reached for the mechanical scrub kit, which included a sterile brush and antiseptic soap. He demonstrated how to scrub the surgical area in gentle, circular motions, ensuring thorough cleansing without damaging the skin.

After scrubbing, he used dry gauze to carefully wipe away the soap foam, making sure the area was completely dry.

He then reached for the final item: an applicator sponge soaked in 70% isopropyl alcohol. ”This is what I call the final chemical prep,” he explained. ”We ’paint’ the surgical area with this to disinfect it completely.” He carefully applied the solution over the prepared skin, covering the entire marked area.

He waited three minutes for it to air-dry completely. ”Now we’re ready to move her to the main operating room. Kalea, Juria.”

”Yes, Your Highness?”

”Go to the next room, wash your hands properly, and change into fresh surgical attire. Wait for us in the last room. You’ll see the operating table there.”

After Kalea and Juria left for the next area, Javier glanced at the monitoring tools, then looked toward Liana and Myra after making sure everything was in order.

”Let’s hope for the best,” Javier said while looking at Gracelle’s stomach, where the dark veins writhed like living tentacles beneath her skin. He raised his palm and channeled his advanced Purify skill, causing the dark veins to momentarily still.

He inhaled through his mask before letting out a long exhale. He took out another white glowing cube and placed it between her legs, positioning it carefully over her pussy, and another between her breasts.

”Young Master?” Liana asked softly.

”This is to ensure this so-called living curse parasite won’t be able to slip out during surgery. This cube will trap it, absorb it, and lock it inside, the same method I used to seal those Celestial beings from Gumarak’s body long ago.”

He glanced at the white glowing cubes surrounding the stretcher and the one floating above her stomach.

”This cube works on trapping every type of curse, and since it worked on the Celestial, which is the strongest entity I’ve encountered, I’m confident it will work here too.”

He glanced at Liana and spoke softly.

”Right, Ari?”

Liana’s lips moved, and another voice came from her lips.

”Mm? Me and Aria never claimed to be Celestial, you know.”

Javier chuckled softly. ”I know. But just like you said earlier, since people don’t know what to call you, Aria and the other six, everyone assumes you’re Celestial, right?”

”Mm... but I’ll never call or claim myself to be Celestial.” She yawned. ”Hmm?”

Liana leaned forward and looked at Gracelle’s stomach.

”Ew! The worm curse. Disgusting!”

”You know about this thing, Ari?”

”Hmm? Of course. This is a living curse.” Ari explained in her cute, slightly shy voice through Liana’s lips. ”It’s like a worm that emerges from a dead body, but this one has been modified and infused with dark energy and curses.”

”So...” Javier looked at Liana. ”This... can be removed?”

”Hmm? Yes. Since it’s living inside her body, Purify won’t work properly without finding a way to purify it directly from the inside. Human skin has a natural resistance to purification magic, it’s like a barrier that protects the body but also makes it harder for external magic to reach deep-seated afflictions like this.”

Ari said softly.

”Unless you find a way to cut open the infected area without killing her, you can’t purify those...” Liana leaned back, showing a disgusted look as she saw the dark veins. ”Ew... this disgusting worm.”

Javier smiled. ”That’s a relief to hear from you, Ari.”

Ari looked at him with narrowed eyes. ”Don’t tell me you’re going to cut her stomach open, purify it, and use a healing skill to close the wound? You know that’s a huge risk. Cutting it that way is going to kill the infected person anyway.”

Javier smirked. ”No, I won’t do that. Even if I were confident in the method you suggested, I wouldn’t. The risk is too high.”

Ari glanced at him. ”So how are you going to purify those... disgusting things?”

”The same method you mentioned, but...” Javier smiled. ”More professional and low-risk. And since you already said Purify works on this, I’m confident the method I’m going to use will work properly.”

”Oh... well... not my problem. Just don’t let Liana get close to it. If it slips and goes inside Liana’s body, I’ll have to use my skill to kill it inside, which...” She paused, her tone filled with disgust. ”...would be really gross.”

”Hmm? You can kill it?”

Ari smiled. ”Of course. With my skill, this disgusting parasite curse would be gone in a matter of seconds, but... it only works on Liana, since I’m inside her. And Gloria, since Aria is inside her. Well... if there’s nothing more, I’m going to sleep~”

Liana smiled and said softly.

”You forgot to say one more thing, Ari~”

”Eh? What?”

”He’s my future husband, and also your future husband too. So what were you supposed to say, hmm?”

”Ehhhh!? He’s not my... umm... husband.”

”But he’s my husband, and you’re inside my body. You and Aria said it before...”

”Ugh! Fine!” She fidgeted. ”I’m going to sleep... husband...”
