Reborn As Noble

Javier snapped his finger, and another fifty battle drones materialized in the sky, flying toward the entire Mathrias estate.

He reached into his dimensional storage and pulled out mana glasses, tapping them to activate their functions.

”Hmm... Well... they have five summoners. One in the northeast, one in the west, one in the east, and two more scattered. All wearing robes. I really want to kill them, or maybe capture them...” Javier smirked, glancing at Liana and his girls. ”But Father said to focus on this operation.”

”But Young Master,” Liana said, her expression concerned. ”If we don’t stop them, this could pose a serious threat. They might escalate their attacks or target others.”

”Yes, Young Master,” Gloria added. ”You should take this matter seriously. Your family and our personnel might be in danger.”

Javier exhaled and scratched his cheek. ”Nah... Even if I wanted to go there and kick their faces or toy with those evil summoners before killing them, it’s best if I conserve my energy. I don’t know how long this surgery will take.”

Liana narrowed her eyes. ”Just tell us where these enemies are. We’ll go and kill them.”

Javier’s eyes turned serious. ”No... First, I don’t want to risk any of my girls’ lives. Second, if I want to kill them, just one shot from the battle drones or even from Sky Eyes could easily wipe them out. And you all know that.” He clasped his hands behind him. ”This is for the upcoming war. I want this to prove that when Armand is here, no kingdom or army can stop us, even with dirty tactics.”

He glanced at Liana and the others while snapping his finger, and more of his latest puppet knights materialized around them.

”You all head inside the room now.” He gestured toward the large portable building next to the surgical facility. ”I’m going to prepare to bring Gracelle to this portable room and start the operation. No one comes out.” He turned and glanced over his shoulder. ”Go relax and cook something for everyone. My father, mother, and everyone will be joining you all soon.”

Javier started walking toward the manor when Liana moved to follow him.

But Javier paused and glared at her. ”LIANA!”

”B... but...” Liana stopped and looked at his serious face.

”No buts. Go inside. Your safety is more important, and I’m not playing around here.” Javier turned and kept walking toward the manor, his aura flaring.

Liana exhaled and turned toward the others. ”Let’s all head inside, or our husband might sulk for not listening to him.”

Gloria exhaled and shook her head. ”You really do listen to everything he says, don’t you?”

Liana glanced sideways at Gloria and shook her head. ”Not really~ You also know what he said is true, and you’ve seen how he wept before. I’m sure he doesn’t want anything to happen to us, even if he knows we’re not weak.”

Felicia nodded, Delya unsummoned her huge scythe, and Mimi put away her battle gauntlet, their expressions softening in understanding.

Gloria exhaled and nudged her glasses. ”Whatever you say, first wife.”

Liana smiled softly and glanced at them. ”Let’s just head inside and prepare food and drinks for our King, Queen, and all the Armand personnel. I bet even Lord Rolland and Lady Sylvia will be joining them too.”

”Mm... since with this scale of surprise attack, I’m sure they’re at risk as well.”

Once Liana ensured every girl was inside, she glanced at the puppet knights surrounding the area while other groups attacked the weird monsters.

I hope everything goes smoothly for Young Master.

She looked at the sky where the battle drones hovered, firing relentlessly at the summoned monsters.

”Liana?” Gloria called her.

”Hmm?”

”Head inside and close the door.”

”Okay~” Liana stepped inside and closed the door.

Meanwhile, in the other room.

Garius remained in his chair, elbow resting on the armrest, cheek propped on his knuckle.

Alf adjusted his glove, staying close to Garius, while Erinette smoothed her maid dress, remaining near Francesca.

”Alf?”

”Yes, Your Majesty?” Alf bowed slightly.

”So... they’re starting, huh? Not to mention, using a cheap, dirty trick like summoned rift monsters. Looks like they’re desperate to cause chaos and disrupt our presence here.”

”It’s as you suspected, Your Majesty. It seems they want to create chaos, especially while you’re here, to either blame Armand for the attack or create a false narrative to undermine our influence.”

”Looks like they would never have any intention to stop~” Francesca smiled softly while her feet touched the floor, a pale, beautiful white light spreading gently around her.

”Honey.” Garius smiled at her.

”What? I’m just relaxing~” Francesca rested her elbow on the armrest and propped her cheek on her palm, giving him a playful look.

Garius shook his head, while the Armand personnel and maids exchanged knowing smiles.

”So, Alf?”

”Yes, Your Majesty?” Alf bowed slightly while adjusting his glove.

”So, about Rolland and Sylvia...” Garius smirked, glancing up at Alf.

”Ah... consider the matter handled properly. Our Shadow Leader is already escorting them with his best unit, remaining unseen and undetected.” Alf smirked. ”And that butler, despite being a master assassin, didn’t even notice Shadow Leader and his unit watching him.”

”So, Alf... shall I leave the matter of that butler to you?”

”Ah, about that, Your Majesty... I’d be honored to handle it personally, but I don’t think I’ll get the chance.” He paused and smirked. ”Since... well, that butler and the other assassins and enemies have already been marked by... Prince Javier.”

Garius let out a soft laugh. ”I believe Rolland and Sylvia are already being escorted to safety by Javier’s puppet knights, huh?”

Alf chuckled. ”More like taken and dragged toward safety while ensuring they’re kept away from the butler and his team. I believe Rolland and Sylvia were both... removed from the situation before the fighting even started. Even our surroundings are full of Prince Javier’s knights, though they’re invisible to the naked eye.”

”I know, Alf. Looks like even though he knows all of us here, including our Armand special forces and battle maids, are strong, he still worries about our safety.”

”That’s how our youngest son is, my dear~” Francesca smiled.

”Well...” Garius stood slowly, stretching his body before offering his hand to Francesca. ”Looks like Javier’s main knights have already secured the way to the special room in the courtyard. I guess it’s time for us to move.”

Just as Francesca took Garius’s hand, the door opened, and two of Javier’s White Knights, along with Shironii, a knight in full white samurai armor, complete with a samurai helmet and mask, entered and stood by the door. One of the puppet knights moved closer, stopping a short distance from Garius.

Garius sighed and glanced at Alf. ”Damn... this one already relayed the message.”
