The Wizard Has A Biochip

Ravi was still clutching that potion.

I recognized it.

When he ripped the stopper off the vial with trembling hands and poured the entire contents over the grotesque wound on his neck, the effect was immediate.

White steam rose from the mangled flesh.

Spasms coursed through his body.

His muscles began to twitch as the torn tissues knit themselves together unevenly, as though invisible hands were hastily stitching his throat back together.

Even so, I knew.

It was only a temporary solution.

The potion would prevent his immediate death, but it could never remove the contaminated magical energy that had already penetrated his body. That corruption would continue circulating through his internal magical codes, destroying him little by little.

Even if he survived today, an even greater battle would still await him.

But surviving first...

That was what mattered.

In the Tower, no one accepted death easily.

Ravi possessed an absurd amount of vitality for a Third-Level Acolyte. If there was anyone capable of escaping that situation, it was probably him.

Even so...

The price would be terrible.

I continued watching.

The corridor, which had been packed with onlookers only minutes earlier, now seemed deserted.

Only Otto, Gael, and Ravi remained.

None of them seemed willing to advance.

It wasn’t cowardice.

It was instinct.

As Ravi desperately pressed the empty vial against his own neck, trying to stem the bleeding...

Then...

Whoosh—

Ruby bent her long legs and vanished from the floor in a single leap.

She crossed the distance in an instant.

Then...

Slurp...

Slurp...

The wet sounds echoed through the silent corridor.

She had sunk her teeth into Ravi once again.

The sight was even more grotesque than before.

Blood poured freely.

At the same time, the enormous hole in her own chest continued leaking a thick black fluid, making her appearance even more disturbing.

— No... Please...

Those were Ravi’s final words.

His voice came out weak.

Powerless.

His body completely relaxed the next moment.

He died.

Otto and Gael remained frozen in place.

I could clearly see that both of them were holding small artifacts.

But their hands were trembling.

Neither of them dared activate them.

Who could blame them?

If Ravi had been reduced to that state...

What could they possibly do?

Ruby was like a beast consumed by hunger.

Yet there was intelligence behind every movement she made.

When she finally released Ravi’s corpse, I thought she would go after the others.

Instead...

She did something completely unexpected.

She sat down on the body.

Like a queen taking her throne.

She slowly crossed her legs.

With an elegant gesture, she slipped a hand inside her bloodstained red dress and withdrew a small silver mirror and a white handkerchief.

I watched in absolute silence.

She delicately wiped her lips.

Then she adjusted a few strands of hair while looking into the mirror.

Her smile was subtle.

Satisfied.

Then my eyes were drawn to the massive wound in her chest.

The flesh began to move.

The tissues rapidly rejoined.

Muscles.

Skin.

Everything reconstructed itself before my eyes at an impossible speed.

Within seconds...

There wasn’t a single wound left.

Her skin became perfectly smooth once again, pale and without so much as a scar.

Only a circular tear remained in her red dress, exposing part of her abdomen around her navel.

I swallowed hard.

What kind of monstrous regeneration is this?

My mind immediately found an answer.

It can only be... a Blood Fairy.

The information from the book I had studied in the library resurfaced in my memory almost word for word.

Blood Fairies were magical creatures that fed upon the life force of other beings.

Blood.

Mana.

Or any form of vital essence.

Unlike ordinary fairies, which were connected to forests and the spirits of nature, these entities were manifestations of blood corruption.

They embodied primal desires.

Lust.

Massacre.

Destruction.

Some scholars believed they were once human souls that had traded their mortality for forbidden power.

Others claimed they came into existence spontaneously on battlefields where countless people had been slaughtered, absorbing hatred, suffering, and blood until they gained consciousness.

In addition to their absurd regenerative abilities and their power to drain vital energy...

They possessed another weapon that was even more dangerous.

Seduction.

Not merely as a means of manipulating emotions.

But as a supernatural instinct.

An ability created to shatter a victim’s will before the attack even began.

To paralyze.

To lure.

To confuse.

And only then...

To feed upon them.

I continued staring through the keyhole without even blinking.

My brain struggled to organize the information, searching for some logical explanation for such an absurd transformation.

Then a single name immediately surfaced in my mind.

Professor Lucius.

Besides being a professor of Magical Skinning, Lucius was also renowned for his experiments.

Especially those involving bloodlines, fusions between magical creatures, and alterations to the very essence of the soul.

Many claimed that his laboratories concealed horrors that even the other professors had no desire to witness.

I swallowed hard.

Could Lucius have transformed Ruby into a Blood Fairy simply to satisfy his curiosity?

It wouldn’t be impossible.

Within the Tower, some professors didn’t see Acolytes as people.

We were resources.

Research materials.

Disposable tools.

But there was another possibility.

What if Ruby had chosen this?

Perhaps she had accepted some kind of ritual.

Perhaps she had made a pact.

Perhaps she had been so desperate to escape her own weakness that she chose to abandon her humanity.

Within the Tower, there were people willing to sacrifice anything in exchange for power.

Meanwhile...

Ruby remained seated atop Ravi’s corpse.

She slowly ran her tongue across her lips.

Then...

She licked the blood smeared at the corner of her mouth.

The movement was slow.

Delicate.

And intensely alluring.

There was something deeply wrong about that scene.

Even knowing she had just massacred an Acolyte before dozens of witnesses...

My eyes simply couldn’t look away from her.

It was as though some invisible force were drawing my attention toward her.

My chest grew heavy.

My breathing slowed without me even realizing it.

—Ruby... my sweet woman!

I opened the door and smiled.

As soon as she saw me, she frowned, but after a few seconds—as if she’d suddenly remembered who I was—she smiled like a demon.

—George! she said, rising to her feet.

—Come rape me right here; my pussy is on fire...

—My womb is thirsty for your filthy cum.

Mmm...

—I’m so wet...

I almost dropped my pants, but I bit my tongue hard enough to fill my mouth with blood; the pain was enough to snap me out of her seductive spell.

My heart pounded as I realized I was standing in the middle of the bloody chaos Ruby had caused.

She was close to me now.

But unlike the way she looked at the others, she stared at me differently—as if I were her plaything.

As if she’d love to try and swallow my cock with that damned fairy pussy of hers.

—You’re mine now!

She said, wrapping me in a hug so tight it nearly broke my bones.

I remained silent, gritting my teeth.

—My tight pussy is going to swallow your cock so eagerly...

—I want milk... Hot milk in my hungry womb...

Suddenly, a scream tore through the hallway, snapping my mind away from all those theories.

— AAAAAAAAAAAH!!

I blinked instinctively.

Ruby had disappeared.

The only thing I saw was Otto’s eyes widening.

He didn’t even manage to raise the magical artifact he was carrying.

The next instant...

Ruby was already upon him.

Her hands cut through the air like blades.

Pruuush!

A wet crack echoed through the corridor.

For a brief second, Otto remained standing.

Then...

His body slowly slid apart.

Split cleanly in two.

A spray of blood splattered the walls.

His entrails spilled onto the stone floor.

Death was instantaneous.

Gael dropped to his knees.

All the color had drained from his face.

His hands trembled so violently that a small magical scroll slipped from his fingers.

— P... Pls... Please... I... I am...

His voice broke.

Ruby slowly turned her head toward him.

She smiled.

She took one step.

Then another.

Like a ballerina walking across a stage.

— N-No... don’t come any closer...

He finally managed to raise a small magic crystal.

Before he could activate it...

Zummmmmm...

The entire air vibrated.

An invisible pressure descended upon the corridor.

The candles mounted on the walls flickered violently.

The blood spread across the floor began to ripple.

Even my breathing became labored.

My entire body froze.

That pressure...

It was overwhelming.

Far greater than that of any Acolyte.

A crimson-red aura flooded the corridor.

It wasn’t merely mana.

It was a presence.

Then...

A figure appeared in the very center of the corridor.

No sound of footsteps.

No door opening.

He simply... appeared.

He wore crimson robes adorned with delicate black symbols.

His silver hair fell over his shoulders, and his eyes surveyed the scene with an almost artistic serenity.

There was no horror on his face.

Only satisfaction.

Professor Lucius...

He looked at Ruby the way an artisan admires his masterpiece.

— That’s enough.

His voice was calm.

Ruby stopped moving immediately.

She remained perfectly still.

Her head tilted slightly toward him.

Like a child caught doing something she shouldn’t.

— Excellent work...

— You have exceeded my expectations.

— Today’s massacre has provided enough vital energy.

He slowly spread his arms.

— The final stage of your evolution has been completed.

— Learn to control your hunger.

— Master your craving for fresh blood.

— Sharpen your mind.

— Only when instinct submits to reason will you cease to be merely a powerful beast...

He stopped in front of her.

With the utmost gentleness, he stroked her bloodstained hair.

— ...and become a true Blood Fairy.
