”Hahaha, you brats! The power of an Arrancar is nothing you Shinigami, who haven’t even mastered Bankai, can hope to overcome! Especially not someone like me, at the very pinnacle of Arrancar power!”

Krickle laughed, toying with Shiba Kaien and Yū. However, he felt the time had come to demonstrate his true strength.

Observing the two grim-faced opponents, Krickle’s spiritual pressure surged to a new level.

”Witness my first Resurrección! Defile the earth, King of the Carrion Flies!”

As Krickle released his Resurrección, his sword dramatically increased in size, its blade transforming into a jagged, serrated edge. The entire blade was coated in grime, swarming with fly-like spiritual entities, exuding a potent aura of decay.

Simultaneously, his shoulders, elbows, and legs morphed into insect-like segmented limbs, and his fly-like mask became startlingly realistic.

Transparent, membrane-like wings sprouted from his back, vibrating at an incredible frequency, producing a deafening buzzing sound, like the swarming of countless flies.

Witnessing Krickle’s transformed state, Shiba Kaien’s already grave expression darkened further. Yū, while maintaining an outwardly calm demeanor, revealed her heightened vigilance through her eyes.

Wielding his Carrion Fly Sawblade, Krickle roared, ”Die! Carrion Fly Assault!”

A wide-ranging gray mist rapidly expanded, engulfing the entire area and encasing all the Shinigami within.

This gray mist was clearly infused with potent toxins and corrosive spiritual energy, teeming with countless fly-like spiritual entities.

The attack was not only devastatingly powerful but also utterly repulsive.

”Hahahaha! Under my Carrion Fly Mist, escape is impossible! One touch of this poisonous mist will corrode your bodies and spiritual energy, leaving you nothing but food for my carrion flies!”

Many Shinigami showed signs of despair. Death in battle was one thing, but to perish at the claws of these vile insects was utterly unacceptable.

At that moment, Yū raised her Zanpakutō, calmly chanting, ”SennoHana, Pure Spirit Light Ring!”

A wave of invigorating cold energy enveloped Yū’s Zanpakutō, and a ring of frost, imbued with potent purifying power, rippled outwards.

Any Carrion Fly Mist touched by this wave dissipated instantly, like snow melting in boiling water. Within seconds, the previously overwhelming mist had completely vanished.

Seeing Yū effortlessly dispel his devastating attack, the previously demoralized Shinigami were visibly relieved.

Shiba Kaien exclaimed in amazement, ”So Yū’s Zanpakutō possesses purification abilities! But I’ve never witnessed such potent purification before!”

Yū calmly responded, ”The crisis is far from over. Even relying solely on spiritual pressure, we’ll struggle to defeat him.”

Enraged at having his powerful technique so easily countered, Krickle roared in fury, his body shrouded in Carrion Fly Mist, and charged towards Shiba Kaien and Yū.

With a single, powerful swing, Yū, recognizing her strength deficit, quickly retreated. Shiba Kaien, however, attempted to block with his trident and was sent crashing to the ground.

Like a meteorite impact, Shiba Kaien’s body smashed into the earth, creating a massive crater. He coughed up blood, clearly sustaining serious injuries.

”You will all die! Especially you!”

His gaze fixated on Yū, wielding SennoHana, Krickle swung his Carrion Fly Sawblade, launching another attack. He was determined to eliminate this Shinigami who could so easily counter his abilities.

Simultaneously, a large fissure opened along his spine, releasing a swarm of large, human-sized carrion flies that enveloped the remaining Shinigami.

Pursued relentlessly by Krickle, Yū was unable to utilize SennoHana’s purifying ability on a large scale to dispel the foul spiritual entities.

The Shinigami were forced to defend with their Zanpakutō, but when their blades contacted the carrion flies, the less powerful Zanpakutō began to corrode. Prolonged contact threatened to render the weapons completely unusable.

”Damn it! My Zabimaru is almost completely rotten! This guy’s ability is so disgusting!” Renji roared in anguish, his voice strained as he desperately swung his Zabimaru against the giant carrion flies.

Renji, Momo, and Kira Izuru worked together, forming a small defensive formation to protect each other.

In this battle, Kira Izuru’s Zanpakutō, Wabisuke, proved completely ineffective. They relied primarily on Renji and Momo’s abilities to barely hold their ground.

Renji’s Zabimaru, despite its offensive and defensive capabilities, was significantly hampered by the flies’ corrosive power.

Momo’s Tobiume, however, with its ability to unleash long-range flame attacks, proved highly effective, repelling numerous carrion flies.

Krickle’s ability was undeniably troublesome. If Yū hadn’t dispelled his Carrion Fly Mist, that single attack would have been enough to annihilate all the Shinigami present.

Renji, Momo, and Kira Izuru were performing admirably, but other Shinigami were starting to falter, with casualties steadily increasing.

If this continued, the Shinigami would soon suffer a massive rout, their complete annihilation only a matter of time.

Just as the situation reached a critical point, a calm voice echoed through the battlefield.

”Bakudō #62, Hyapporankan.”

Hundreds of luminous white spiritual energy pillars suddenly descended from the sky, impaling every single carrion fly to the ground.

The impaled flies struggled violently but were completely unable to break free.

In an instant, the tide of the battle dramatically shifted. The previously overwhelmed Shinigami were now safe, while their opponents were completely immobilized.

Witnessing this incredibly powerful Bakudō spell, everyone was momentarily stunned, including Krickle and Yū, who had been locked in intense combat.

”Hmph, finally decided to make a move,” Yū thought to herself.

As Yusuke’s assistant, Yū knew he was constantly monitoring these experimental Arrancar.

Possessing the power of Kamui, Yusuke could appear on the scene at any moment to eliminate this experimental subject.
