”That’s hardly ’not complaining’,” Yusuke Uchiha mused to himself.

A look of apology crossed his face as he ruffled Nagato Yū’s hair. ”Yū, you’re my most important subordinate. Thanks to you, I can focus on my plans. If you’re tired, take a few days off.”

A flicker of joy shone in Nagato Yū’s eyes, though her expression remained unchanged. ”Captain, you’re as insincere as ever. No need for leave; delaying your work is something I can’t afford.”

Yusuke Uchiha was accustomed to her prickly personality. Despite her perpetually cold demeanor and frequent retorts, she diligently completed every task assigned to her.

Offering Nagato Yū the exquisitely packaged sweets, Yusuke Uchiha smiled. ”I picked these up on the way back. Go home and rest. I need to return and check on things.”

By ”return,” he meant Hueco Mundo.

Nagato Yū, with a stoic expression, accepted the sweets. Inwardly, she was delighted, though it was completely undetectable on her face.

After Nagato Yū left, Yusuke Uchiha used Kamui to return to Hueco Mundo.

He’d just received a spiritual pressure fluctuation from Mayuri Kurotsuchi via the Cursed Crow Mark, clearly signaling that he needed something.

He went directly to the Research and Development Institute in Las Noches, where he found Mayuri Kurotsuchi pacing anxiously.

”You’re finally back! Come see my research results; you’ll be astonished!”

Upon seeing Yusuke Uchiha, Mayuri Kurotsuchi immediately grabbed him, pulling him to an experimental table.

On the table sat a base supporting a bud-like container.

Mayuri Kurotsuchi pressed a button, and the bud-like container slowly opened, releasing a deep blue spiritual pressure that spread like an aurora.

Once the pressure dissipated, a spherical gem, swirling with a faint blue spiritual light, floated on the table—beautiful and mesmerizing.

Slowly removing his glasses, Yusuke Uchiha examined the gem, his eyes gleaming, observing the unusual spiritual pressure fluctuations.

A glint flashed in his eyes as he asked Mayuri Kurotsuchi, ”Is this the Hogyoku?”

Mayuri Kurotsuchi wore a triumphant expression. ”Indeed, even more perfect than I anticipated. Its power will undoubtedly astound everyone!”

Yusuke Uchiha reached out, taking the floating Hogyoku and silently sensing its power.

Through his spiritual pressure, he sensed the Hogyoku calling to him, urging fusion. Fusion would grant him unparalleled power.

However, driven by even greater ambitions, Yusuke Uchiha resisted the Hogyoku’s mental influence, instead focusing on sensing its underlying abilities.

”As expected, it possesses the ability to guide potential through one’s desires. Fusion would significantly amplify this ability.”

”For me, at this stage, the potential it could unlock without fusion is negligible. However, for Hollows eager to evolve into Arrancars, it’s an irreplaceable treasure.”

As Yusuke Uchiha mentally analyzed the Hogyoku’s abilities, concluding its current benefit to his power was minimal, he suddenly felt his eyes react to the Hogyoku; his pupils spontaneously transformed into the Mangekyō Sharingan, as if yearning for the Hogyoku’s power.

A mysterious power flowed into his eyes, and Yusuke Uchiha felt his Mangekyō Sharingan beginning to evolve.

”Could the Mangekyō Sharingan evolve further?” Yusuke Uchiha thought, delighted.

The known evolutionary path for the Mangekyō Sharingan was the fusion of Yang Release to become the Rinnegan, followed by the addition of tomoe to the Rinnegan for increased power.

Until now, no one had ever further evolved a pure Yin Release Mangekyō Sharingan.

Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, in Yusuke Uchiha’s view, merely compensated for the loss of dōjutsu power due to insufficient spiritual energy by absorbing the power of a related Mangekyō Sharingan; it wasn’t true evolution.

Mayuri Kurotsuchi noticed the change in Yusuke Uchiha, a strange spiritual pressure fluctuation emanating from his eyes.

Pulling out a small notebook, Mayuri Kurotsuchi stood beside him, observing and recording.

”The cross-shaped patterns in both eyes are slowly rotating. The large circle enclosing a smaller circle in the left eye remains unchanged.”

”Hmm? The cross-shaped pattern is fading, disappearing completely after about three minutes.”

”The pupil in the right eye has vanished; the eye is a layered deep blue, like the night sky. The left eye is similar, but retains the large circle enclosing a smaller circle.”

”Based on this, it seems to be a permanent change, indicating an evolution of the eye’s abilities. The specific capabilities will require practical verification.”

Mayuri Kurotsuchi meticulously observed and recorded, habitually vocalizing his observations. He even leaned in for a closer look, only to be flung away by Yusuke Uchiha.

Yusuke Uchiha felt his eyes had undergone a significant transformation, with the potential for further strengthening.

His original dōjutsu abilities remained; whether new abilities had emerged required further familiarization with his evolved eyes.

Though he lacked a mirror, his dōjutsu’s inner vision allowed him to clearly see the state of his eyes.

The original Sharingan patterns had completely vanished; his pupils were gone, replaced by a deep, starless void resembling the cosmos.

The left eye, due to the Rinnegan fusion, still retained the Rinnegan’s ripple pattern.

After the evolution, he could no longer switch between eye forms like with the Sharingan or Mangekyō Sharingan; the form was permanently fixed.

Simultaneously, his Karasu clone, sharing his soul, was also affected; the Kamui Mangekyō Sharingan patterns in its eyes also vanished, transforming into the same form as its master’s.

Yusuke Uchiha discovered he and Karasu could now use the same dōjutsu! In other words, from now on, he no longer needed Karasu to activate Kamui; he could do so independently.
