”So, did your eyes gain any new abilities? And besides the eye changes, did the Hogyoku enhance your other abilities?”

Mayuri Kurotsuchi, having recovered from his unceremonious ejection, returned, peppering Yusuke Uchiha with questions.

Yusuke Uchiha, naturally, wouldn’t delve into the specifics of his abilities with a subordinate.

A pleased smile touched his lips as he clapped Mayuri Kurotsuchi on the shoulder. ”You’ve done excellent work this time. It seems you’ve secured the Las Noches Best Executive Award for the decade once again.”

Given the long lifespans of Hollows and Shinigami, Las Noches’ annual celebrations and meetings had been extended to a ten-year cycle.

Seeing Yusuke Uchiha turn to leave, Mayuri Kurotsuchi called out, ”Wait! I’ve won the Best Executive Award five times in a row. Surely I deserve a more substantial reward. How about letting me study your crow? If I can’t study your eyes, I can at least study the crow, right?”

Replacing his glasses, Yusuke Uchiha waved him off dismissively with a backhanded gesture. ”I’ll consider it.”

With that, he left Las Noches, taking the Hogyoku, leaving Mayuri Kurotsuchi looking disappointed.

Though evening had fallen in Soul Society, Hueco Mundo was perpetually night, devoid of any distinction between day and night.

Arriving at Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck’s residence, Yusuke Uchiha prepared to use the Hogyoku to initiate Nelliel’s Arrancarization.

In the courtyard outside Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck’s room, Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck, Yachiru Kusajishi, and Lilynette Gingerbuck were playing.

After fifty years, Yachiru Kusajishi remained unchanged, still a little girl, seemingly eternally fixed in that form.

Yusuke Uchiha had observed Yachiru Kusajishi for a considerable time, but still couldn’t determine if she was a true Shinigami.

In the original Thousand-Year Blood War arc, Yachiru Kusajishi vanished after Kenpachi Zaraki released his Zanpakutō, leading Yusuke Uchiha to suspect that her true form might be a Zanpakutō.

However, Yachiru Kusajishi, who also possessed a Zanpakutō, exhibited no other anomalies beyond her unchanging age, leaving Yusuke Uchiha uncertain of her true nature.

While Yachiru Kusajishi remained unchanged, Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck had transformed significantly. The child had grown considerably; by human or Shinigami standards, she was now a young girl.

Since arriving at Las Noches, her closest companions had been Yachiru Kusajishi and Lilynette Gingerbuck, but the fact that her two best friends remained children caused her considerable distress.

Due to Yachiru Kusajishi’s position as chairwoman of Las Noches’ Women’s Association, Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck and Lilynette Gingerbuck became executives, and the three, supported by Yusuke Uchiha, Starrk, and Kenpachi Zaraki, were known as the ”Three Pillars of the Women’s Association.”

Lilynette Gingerbuck, having found two like-minded friends, frequently left her uncle, Starrk, at home to go out and play, leaving the lonely Starrk in tears.

”Waaah, Yachiru Kusajishi! What’s wrong with you?! Why did I get hit even though I dodged?! You’re cheating! This doesn’t count; let’s do it again!” Lilynette Gingerbuck cried out, brandishing her curved blade.

Over the last piece of cake, Lilynette Gingerbuck and Yachiru Kusajishi had decided to settle the matter with a duel; the first to land a blow would win.

In the ensuing clash, Yachiru Kusajishi, whose Zanpakutō possessed the ”Three-Step Beast” ability, easily struck Lilynette Gingerbuck, leaving her utterly confused.

Upon Yachiru Kusajishi’s Shikai activation, two strange creatures appeared, invisible, imperceptible, and untouchable to everyone but Yachiru Kusajishi.

One was a short, stout creature wearing a white skeletal mask and black robes, resembling a low-level Gillian.

The other was a fat, two-eyed furball.

These creatures could attack both before and after Yachiru Kusajishi’s attacks, meaning anyone trying to dodge or counterattack would be hit, suffering damage equivalent to Yachiru Kusajishi’s strike.

This ability is a devastating weapon for sword-wielding Shinigami, capable of easily striking any opponent.

Even someone as powerful as Yusuke Uchiha envied this ability.

Yachiru Kusajishi, hands on her hips, smiled sweetly. ”That’s a unique ability of the Three-Step Beast, little Lilynette. No matter how hard you try, it’s useless. This is the eleventh redo, isn’t it? Even if you tried a hundred times, the result wouldn’t change.”

”Aaaaaah! Why?!”

The easily frustrated Lilynette Gingerbuck threw down her curved blade and frantically scratched her head, unable to accept losing the cake.

Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck, witnessing Yusuke Uchiha’s sudden appearance, shouted ”Yusuke!” and lunged at him.

Despite still being a young girl, Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck possessed astonishing strength; Yusuke Uchiha, resisting with no spiritual pressure, was pushed back several steps before regaining his balance.

”Yusuke, are you here to play?” Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck asked.

Yusuke Uchiha smiled and shook his head. ”Next time. I have serious business with you.”

Disappointment flickered across Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck’s eyes, but the mention of business piqued her curiosity.

”What do you think of Starrk, Lilynette, and Ulquiorra now? Would you like to be like them?” Yusuke Uchiha asked.

Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck’s eyes lit up. ”Can I really become like them?”

Yusuke Uchiha nodded. ”Of course, and your power will increase considerably.”

Yachiru Kusajishi and Lilynette Gingerbuck looked surprised. As a self-Arrancarized Hollow, Lilynette Gingerbuck knew what it meant to become like her; this ”Arrancarization” was the ultimate dream for every Hollow.

However, Arrancarization wasn’t easy; strictly speaking, only she and Ulquiorra had achieved it among the existing Hollows in Hueco Mundo.

As Lilynette Gingerbuck’s friends, Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck and Yachiru Kusajishi understood the immense difficulty of Arrancarization.

Hearing that Yusuke Uchiha could help Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck achieve this filled them with both joy and astonishment.

Entering Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck’s room, Yusuke Uchiha retrieved the Hogyoku from his Kamui space.

The moment the gem, shimmering with a faint blue light, appeared, it immediately captured the three girls’ attention.

After briefly explaining that the Hogyoku could help Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck become an Arrancar, Yusuke Uchiha began using his spiritual pressure to guide the Hogyoku, unlocking Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck’s latent potential.
