As Yusuke Uchiha and Aizen fought, Yusuke Uchiha gradually found himself on the defensive.

Both being peak-level powerhouses with comparable spiritual pressure, every factor influenced the balance of their combat capabilities.

The factor disrupting the balance was Karasu, the crow clone Yusuke Uchiha had once separated from his soul.

Because Karasu inherited one-fifth of Yusuke Uchiha’s soul, his spiritual pressure was effectively reduced by one-fifth.

Normally, this wouldn’t matter; his opponents were significantly weaker.

However, against Aizen, another peak-level Shinigami, this reduction proved crucial.

Realizing the problem, Yusuke Uchiha quickly adapted, and Aizen also noticed.

”Your power seems incomplete. That crow I saw earlier is your soul fragment, isn’t it? In that case, you’re no match for me,” Aizen said with a smile.

Yusuke Uchiha chuckled. ”Indeed, at our level, every factor can influence the outcome. But I’m not so easily defeated.”

With that, Yusuke Uchiha focused the Rinnegan’s power in his left eye, activating a technique that had once given him considerable trouble.

”Preta Path: Blocking Technique Absorption Seal.”

Upon completion, a thin layer of white light coated his Zanpakutō’s blade. This light could absorb various forms of energy, including spiritual pressure.

When Yusuke Uchiha’s Zanpakutō clashed with Aizen’s, the Absorbing Seal immediately took effect, absorbing Aizen’s spiritual pressure and replenishing his own, closing the gap in spiritual pressure.

Aizen quickly realized the technique’s troublesome nature.

After brief observation, he confirmed that this ability to absorb spiritual pressure wasn’t a standard Kidō technique, Zanpakutō release, or any other commonly used Shinigami ability.

Parrying Yusuke Uchiha’s strike, Aizen forcefully swung his Zanpakutō horizontally, using the momentum to retreat, preventing prolonged contact and continued spiritual pressure absorption.

”Your technique is intriguing; it doesn’t seem to be a standard Shinigami ability,” Aizen remarked calmly.

Yusuke Uchiha smiled faintly. ”A mere trifle.”

After this tentative exchange, both Aizen and Yusuke Uchiha understood that neither could easily defeat the other.

To determine a victor, they would need to unleash their ultimate techniques.

Both were reluctant to reveal too much of their power; a decisive battle wouldn’t occur at this moment.

Exchanging a look, Yusuke Uchiha and Aizen sheathed their Zanpakutō in mutual agreement.

”A fascinating sparring match. Your strength ranks among the top three Shinigami I know,” Aizen said with a smile.

Yusuke Uchiha, feigning cordiality, responded as if to an old friend. ”Your spiritual pressure was quite impressive. If you don’t mind, perhaps you could stay at Las Noches for a while before leaving?”

Aizen waved his hand. ”I have other matters to attend to; I won’t disturb you further. Perhaps I’ll visit again sometime.”

After exchanging polite pleasantries, Aizen and Gin Ichimaru used Garganta to return to Soul Society. Yusuke Uchiha dismissed the Espada.

Back in their secret chamber in the Seireitei, the gentle smile vanished from Aizen’s face, replaced by a grim expression—a sight Gin Ichimaru had rarely witnessed.

The events in Hueco Mundo had completely exceeded Aizen’s expectations.

While it didn’t significantly impact his current experiments, it completely disrupted his plan to leverage Hueco Mundo to build his forces.

He had envisioned the Arrancars of Hueco Mundo as a crucial force in his future confrontation with the Gotei 13; a full-scale assault on the Seireitei would require them to stall the Gotei 13 captains.

”How did that person manage to Arrancarize those Hollows?” Aizen wondered.

As Aizen pondered, Gin Ichimaru spoke. ”Aizen-sama, with such significant changes in Hueco Mundo, should we continue with the subsequent plan?”

Aizen’s expression returned to normal; his trademark smile reappeared. ”Of course. Our experiments primarily rely on Shinigami souls. Seizing Hueco Mundo was merely to expand our forces.”

Gin Ichimaru nodded. ”Then, our plan to seize the Soul King Palace will be severely hampered without Hueco Mundo’s strength.”

A cold glint flashed in Aizen’s eyes. ”I initially thought so as well, but upon further reflection, this situation might actually be advantageous!”

”The Arrancars of Hueco Mundo were merely pawns, intended to deplete the Gotei 13’s strength; our true objective is the Soul King Palace. Now, with this mysterious powerhouse ruling Hueco Mundo, we can incite a war between them and the Gotei 13.”

”Let them fight while we reap the benefits! I imagine our Captain-Commander will also find this powerful opponent quite troublesome.”

Gin Ichimaru, startled by Aizen’s plan, considered secretly informing the Gotei 13 about the situation in Hueco Mundo.

However, he was also wary of Hueco Mundo’s current strength; a conflict between the Gotei 13 and Hueco Mundo could trigger a catastrophe prematurely.

As Gin Ichimaru hesitated, Aizen spoke. ”We abandon Hueco Mundo for now. We need new personnel. Contact Miler; see if he can be of use to us.”

Miler was the spy Yusuke Uchiha had placed in the 5th Division, Hegawa Miler.

Aizen, typically cautious, hadn’t planned to recruit more subordinates; exposure would lead to the Seireitei’s relentless pursuit.

But the situation had changed; he needed to acquire more personnel.

”Hegawa Miler? A very talented Shinigami; frankly, even I can’t fully fathom him,” Gin Ichimaru chuckled.

Aizen smiled. ”Gin, you’re always so modest. Miler has only been in the division for a short time; we need to observe him for a while before deciding whether to recruit him. I’ll leave this task to you.”

”Also, I need to investigate the Zanpakutō used by that king of Las Noches. I have a feeling I’ve seen it somewhere before.”

Aizen’s mind drifted back to the appearance of Yusuke Uchiha’s Zanpakutō.
