With the Kazekage and the Land of Wind’s Daimyō brought into the discussion, the Sunagakure leadership fell silent.

The Kazekage’s absence, and the clear implication of coercion by Yusuke, left some room for argument regarding Sunagakure’s role as the mastermind behind the Konoha attack.

However, with the Kazekage’s attempted assassination of the Land of Wind’s Daimyō, and the Daimyō’s subsequent testimony directly implicating the Kazekage, Sunagakure found itself utterly without grounds for refutation.

”Clan Head Uchiha, the Kazekage is currently absent, and there may be a misunderstanding that has led the Daimyō to this conclusion. In my humble opinion, we should first examine the demands presented by Konoha.

Should Sunagakure be capable of fulfilling them, I assure you that we will not hesitate to provide the necessary compensation!

This will serve as a gesture of reconciliation to Konoha, our long-standing ally,” Ebizo interjected, breaking the ensuing silence.

Ebizo’s shrewdness was undeniable. In just a few concise sentences, he effectively mitigated the impact of Sunagakure’s potential culpability as the mastermind, reaffirmed Sunagakure’s position as Konoha’s ally, and simultaneously pledged unstinting compensation.

Yusuke felt a surge of respect for Ebizo; he was indeed a remarkable individual. Unfortunately for Ebizo, however, his opponent today was Yusuke himself, wielding the undeniable force of overwhelming power and momentum.

Signaling to his assistant, Sakura Haruno, to distribute the documents Konoha had prepared in advance, Yusuke spoke slowly, ”As Elder Ebizo has so eloquently stated, Konoha and Sunagakure have maintained a close and cooperative alliance since the founding of both villages.

However, this recent incident has irrevocably shattered that relationship. Indeed, had Konoha not possessed the requisite strength, we might have faced utter annihilation, plunging the entire ninja world into a new cycle of conflict.”

Pausing momentarily, Yusuke gestured subtly towards the Land of Wind’s Daimyō seated beside him, continuing.

”Consequently, after extensive deliberations between Konoha and your esteemed Daimyō, we have jointly formulated the plan outlined in these documents, aiming to ensure that such events never recur, while simultaneously significantly strengthening the cooperative ties between Konoha and Sunagakure.”

Upon Yusuke’s concluding remarks, Chiyo, Ebizo, and the assembled Sunagakure council members commenced their review of the document’s contents.

Gradually, the expressions of the Sunagakure representatives darkened, their faces betraying growing unease.

One particularly volatile Sunagakure council member, unable to contain his simmering rage any longer, abruptly slammed his fist upon the conference table, erupting in a thunderous roar.

”This is utterly unacceptable! Should Sunagakure fall under Konoha’s control as proposed, our village will effectively cease to exist, and the Land of Wind itself will fall under the dominion of the Land of Fire! This plan is undoubtedly the product of your coercion of the Daimyō!”

With this outburst serving as a catalyst, the remaining Sunagakure council members erupted in a chorus of indignant protests, their voices rising in unison.

Even the Land of Wind’s Daimyō, who had previously demonstrated a degree of wavering, now exhibited a clear display of hesitation.

At this critical juncture, a wave of immense pressure swept through the entire conference hall. With the exception of the Konoha ninjas present, every individual within the chamber found themselves subjected to this overwhelming force.

Those Sunagakure council members who had risen to their feet in anger bore the brunt of this pressure, their bodies succumbing to its crushing weight after a mere few seconds of defiance, causing them to collapse back into their seats with a resounding thud.

The remaining Sunagakure council members, likewise subdued by this overwhelming force, fell silent.

Yusuke’s expression had hardened, his countenance now a mask of icy resolve. In addition to the palpable pressure of his spiritual energy, a chilling aura of lethal intent instantly permeated the conference hall, causing every Sunagakure ninja present to tremble in fear.

Under the combined weight of Yusuke’s spiritual pressure and the palpable threat of his killing intent, virtually no one dared to utter a single word of dissent.

The Land of Wind’s Daimyō, who had exhibited a degree of hesitation moments earlier, upon catching sight of the steely glint in Yusuke’s eyes, shuddered involuntarily, rising to his feet to deliver a forceful rebuke to the Sunagakure council members who had dared to voice their opposition.

He simultaneously reiterated that the plan had indeed received the endorsement of the Land of Wind’s leadership.

Upon concluding his remarks, the Land of Wind’s Daimyō directed a fawning and apprehensive gaze towards Yusuke.

Upon receiving a curt nod of acknowledgment from Yusuke, the Daimyō finally exhaled a sigh of relief, settling back into his seat with a renewed sense of composure.

In that fleeting moment of eye contact with Yusuke, the Land of Wind’s Daimyō had been seized by an ominous premonition: should he dare to renege on his endorsement of Yusuke’s plan, this formidable individual would undoubtedly mete out swift and decisive retribution, ending his life without hesitation.

”Uchiha Yusuke, you are inciting war between two great villages! This is Sunagakure; you cannot act with such impunity!”

Chiyo declared, her voice raspy, her face grim.

As the current mainstay of Sunagakure, Chiyo bore the full brunt of Yusuke’s pressure.

Yet, despite the overwhelming weight of Yusuke’s spiritual pressure and killing intent, she remained steadfast in her resistance, prompting Yusuke to acknowledge the indomitable spirit of the older generation of elite ninjas, individuals whose unwavering resolve made them far from easily subdued.

However, Yusuke had anticipated the possibility of forceful resistance from Sunagakure and had come prepared to employ overwhelming force to quell any opposition. Should Sunagakure choose to rise up in defiance, he would not hesitate to act decisively.

”This plan is a joint decision by the Land of Fire and the Land of Wind. Sunagakure, with its rebellious Kazekage, has no right nor standing to object. My presence here in Sunagakure is to oversee the implementation of this plan.”

”Let any who oppose this plan stand forth now.”

Yusuke’s gaze swept across each member of the Sunagakure council, his voice devoid of warmth.

Every Sunagakure ninja met with Yusuke’s gaze lowered their heads in abject fear, even those who had previously dared to voice their dissent now falling silent.

Witnessing the complete capitulation of the Sunagakure council, Chiyo felt a profound sense of despair and desolation.

Having been a resident of Sunagakure since its very inception, she possessed a depth of affection for her village that far surpassed that of any other individual.

While others might choose to compromise their principles, she would not.

Summoning every ounce of her remaining strength to withstand the crushing weight of Yusuke’s spiritual pressure, Chiyo rose unsteadily to her feet, her voice though frail, unwavering in its determination, ”I object!”

Although Chiyo was acutely aware that her opposition would likely prove futile in the face of Yusuke’s overwhelming power, her inner convictions would not allow her to succumb.

Ebizo let out a heavy sigh, shaking his head in resignation.

His elder sister, he reflected, remained stubbornly resolute, placing the well-being of her village above all else. He himself had once shared this unwavering devotion, but he had since relinquished such unwavering adherence to principle.

At this critical juncture, the Sunagakure delegation cast anxious glances towards Yusuke, their apprehension fueled by concerns for Chiyo’s safety and the potential for Yusuke’s wrath to extend to them.

However, rather than exhibiting any signs of anger, Yusuke’s expression softened, revealing a hint of respect.

Observing Chiyo, her form stooped, her brow beaded with perspiration, yet still steadfastly resisting the crushing weight of his spiritual pressure, Yusuke dispelled the pressure that had been bearing down upon Chiyo, speaking slowly and deliberately, ”Elder Chiyo, your unwavering resolve is truly admirable, and I express my profound respect. However, the implementation of this plan is non-negotiable, and it will not be deterred by any opposition.”

”As for you, Elder Chiyo, I regret to inform you that I shall have to request your temporary relocation to Konoha as a guest.”

The instant Yusuke’s words had faded, Kurama Yakumo, positioned discreetly at his side, formed a single hand seal before her chest. Chiyo’s eyes instantly lost their luster, a clear indication that she had fallen victim to Yakumo’s genjutsu.

Chiyo, having expended a considerable amount of her mental energy in her valiant effort to withstand Yusuke’s spiritual pressure, found herself utterly defenseless against Yakumo’s subtle application of genjutsu, her advanced age rendering her particularly susceptible to such techniques.
