”Kazekage-sama, the situation is clear. Surrender, and I, the Fourth Hokage, guarantee your safety,” Minato said, smiling at Rasa, whose head was the only part visible through his sand armor.

Their battle had lasted a while, with neither gaining an advantage. The Flying Thunder God Technique was powerful against enemies with weak defenses, but against strong defenses, it needed powerful attacks. Rasa was far more tenacious than Gaara.

Using Magnet Release: Gold Dust, Rasa was nearly invulnerable. Even Minato’s Rasengan couldn’t harm him. Conversely, Rasa couldn’t touch Minato. Their battle was a stalemate.

Minato held the advantage; he could leave anytime, but Rasa was trapped. This was the most frustrating aspect of the Flying Thunder God Technique.

”You said we could negotiate if Sunagakure stopped attacking. Now you only guarantee my life? The Hokage’s word isn’t reliable,” Rasa said gravely, making a last stand.

Minato smiled, ”Things change. Sunagakure can’t negotiate anymore.”

Minato, though kind, was serious about his village and wouldn’t compromise like the Third Hokage.

”Then surrender is impossible!”

Rasa said, continuing his sand attack while secretly using the sand to create an underground tunnel to escape.

Minato had seen Rasa’s movements. He and Itachi had the highest battle IQ in the Naruto world; even Kakashi was slightly below them. From the moment they faced off, Rasa had no chance of escape without outside intervention.

A cold glint in his eyes, Minato decided to stop holding back. He hoped Rasa would surrender, but it seemed impossible.

He threw four Flying Thunder God kunai at Rasa, evading the sand while moving towards Rasa at high speed.

Rasa retreated, abandoning his attack and completely covering himself in sand, becoming a golden sphere. But the four kunai were embedded within the sand.

Minato couldn’t use Flying Thunder God to attack within the dense sand, so Rasa wasn’t worried.

”Useless, Hokage. Your attacks can’t break my defense!” Rasa’s muffled voice came from the sand.

Minato ignored him and took out four seals reading ”Continuous Explosion.” These were created by Konoha’s Research Institute, based on the ”Multiplying Explosive Tag” principle, eight times more powerful than normal explosive tags.

”Flying Thunder God: Four-Stage!”

Minato had developed the Four-Stage Flying Thunder God, launching four kunai simultaneously and teleporting objects. He teleported the four Continuous Explosion seals to the kunai.

Rasa sensed it.

”Explosive tags? Pathetic!”

Rasa didn’t sense the danger, thinking it was a desperate move by Minato.

”Kazekage-sama, remember this—Flying Thunder God Super Multiplying Continuous Explosion Impact Technique!”

Minato smiled; even in defeat, Rasa would be impressed by the name!

”May you survive this! Explode!”

Minato brought his hands together, activating the Second Hokage’s forbidden jutsu, ”Multiplying Explosive Tag”!

The four seals multiplied into sixty-four. Rasa sensed danger, but it was too late.

Loud booms echoed within the sand; the sphere deformed, bulging from the explosions. The sand sphere shattered.

With a final boom, the sand scattered, revealing a charred, unconscious Rasa. His sand defense was strong; if Gaara had used normal sand, he would have been pulverized.

”Cough...”

Rasa coughed up blood, his body bloody.

”I, Rasa, fell to a ridiculously named jutsu!”

He sighed and fainted.

Minato awkwardly scratched his head.

”Kushina, was the name that bad?”

He imagined Kushina rolling her eyes, clearly disliking the name.
