Beast Taming: Reincarnated With The Ultimate Bond System!

Chapter 321: Chapter : 321 : Luna Nightshade V/S Elara Voss! : 3

The blinding explosion of power slowly faded, revealing the devastated arena floor.

Dust, frost, and shattered ice hung thick in the air like a glittering fog. The colossal ice titan staggered, its massive war-scythe cracked down the middle. Elara’s absolute-zero comet form flickered violently as she hovered above it, her white hair whipping in the arctic winds she herself had created. Her breathing was ragged, her once-pristine academy uniform torn and stained with blood and frost.

Luna stood at the center of the cratered platform in her Winter Apex Form, white hair flowing freely around her like liquid moonlight, slit-pupiled blue eyes glowing with fierce, controlled intensity. Her pristine white wolf ears twitched, and her fluffy white tail swayed with predatory grace. She looked more beautiful and lethal than ever — elegant curves accentuated by powerful, refined muscles, her body radiating raw primal energy that made the entire colosseum hold its breath.

The silence lasted only a heartbeat.

Then the crowd erupted — a deafening roar of shock, awe, and excitement.

In the higher gallery, Aiden’s wives leaned forward.

”Luna’s dominating...” Venya whispered, eyes wide with admiration.

Xylandra smiled softly. ”That form suits her perfectly. So graceful... yet unstoppable.”

Zerra clapped her hands excitedly. ”Go Luna! She’s so beautiful when she fights like this!”

Nyxion and the others nodded approvingly.

Lysandra glanced at Aiden again, a proud smile on her lips. ”She really has mastered it.”

Ela, Liana, Mee, and Kee watched with wide eyes.

”Onii-chan... Luna is winning!” Liana squealed, still clutching Kee’s arm.

Mee whispered in awe, ”She looks like a goddess...”

Kee grinned. ”Yeah... that white hair and those eyes? Total badass mode.”

Mira Vale’s sharp voice crackled over the arena, but even she sounded stunned. ”Incredible... the Nightshade wolf has evolved mid-battle!”

From the noble section, Elarion gritted his teeth, face pale. ”Elara! Get up!”

Elara’s icy-blue eyes burned with fury and lingering fear. She could feel it — Luna’s power was no longer just boosted. It was overwhelming. The raw primal energy rolling off the white-haired wolf girl pressed against her mana like an invisible tide.

”I... will not... lose!” Elara snarled through gritted teeth.

She poured the last of her vast mana reserves into the titan. The broken war-scythe reformed with jagged, reinforced edges. The construct roared — a sound like cracking glaciers — and charged forward with earth-shaking steps, swinging the massive weapon in a horizontal arc that could cleave the entire platform in two.

At the same time, Elara unleashed her final desperate spell. She condensed every remaining drop of her ice magic into a single, screaming lance of absolute-zero energy — a spear of pure winter death that left a trail of frozen air behind it. She hurled it straight at Luna while directing the titan to flank from the side.

”Die, you filthy beast!” Elara screamed, voice cracking with exhaustion and rage.

Luna’s slit-pupiled eyes narrowed. A calm, feral smile curved her lips.

She didn’t dodge.

Instead, she exploded forward in a burst of blinding speed. Her white hair and tail streamed behind her like a banner of moonlight as she met the titan head-on. Her claws glowed with concentrated primal energy. With a single, graceful upward slash, she carved straight through the titan’s reinforced arm, severing the war-scythe at the hilt. The massive weapon spun uselessly through the air and shattered against the far wall.

The titan roared in mechanical agony.

Luna didn’t stop. She leaped onto its chest, claws sinking deep into the frost armor. With raw, overwhelming strength multiplied by her Winter Apex Form, she tore the construct apart from the inside. Massive chunks of ice and mana exploded outward as she ripped through its core. The titan collapsed in a thunderous avalanche of glittering debris, the impact shaking the entire colosseum.

Elara’s absolute-zero lance was only inches away.

Luna spun mid-air, white tail whipping for balance, and caught the deadly spear between her palms once more. Frostbite raced up her arms in seconds, turning her skin pale and cracking, but she didn’t flinch. With a powerful roar that echoed like a wolf’s howl under the full moon, she snapped the lance in half. The explosion of cold energy blasted outward, but Luna channeled it, redirecting the freezing blast harmlessly into the sky where it bloomed into a spectacular aurora of ice crystals.

The crowd gasped in unison.

Elara hovered in the air, wings flickering, chest heaving. Her face was a mask of disbelief and exhaustion. Blood trickled from the corner of her mouth. Her once-perfect mana control was finally cracking — visible fractures of ice forming and melting around her hands.

”How...?” she whispered, voice hoarse. ”You’re just a commoner’s whore... how can you be this strong?”

Luna landed lightly on the ruined platform, white hair settling around her shoulders like silk. She looked up at Elara with those glowing slit-pupiled eyes — beautiful, fierce, and utterly calm.

”Because I fight for something real,” Luna said, her voice carrying clearly across the arena, steady and laced with quiet power. ”For Master. For my family. For people who actually earned their place. You? You only fight for a name you were born with.”

Elara’s expression twisted in rage. ”Shut up!”

She tried to summon another ice wall, another golem, anything — but her mana reserves were nearly empty. Only thin wisps of frost answered her call.

Luna took one step forward. Then another. Each step left a shallow, glowing imprint on the stone, radiating her energy.

Elara panicked. She dropped from the air, landing hard on the platform. Her ice wings shattered on impact. She raised both hands and fired a final, desperate barrage of ice needles — weaker than before, but still deadly.

Luna moved like flowing water. She weaved through the needles with graceful, dance-like steps, her white tail flicking elegantly. The few that grazed her simply melted against her enhanced resistance, leaving only faint red lines that healed almost instantly thanks to her boosted regeneration.

She closed the distance in the blink of an eye.

Elara tried to retreat, but Luna was already there. With controlled precision, Luna’s clawed hand shot out and grabbed Elara by the front of her torn red blazer, lifting the noble girl clear off the ground with one arm as if she weighed nothing.

Elara’s legs kicked uselessly in the air. Her icy-blue eyes were wide with shock and fear.

”Put me down, you mutt!” she snarled, trying to summon one last spike of ice against Luna’s wrist. It formed weakly and shattered harmlessly against Luna’s skin.

Luna leaned in close, her white hair brushing against Elara’s face, her slit-pupiled blue eyes staring directly into the noble girl’s.

”You talked a lot about bloodlines and nobility,” Luna said softly, voice calm but carrying across the silent arena. ”But real strength isn’t given by a last name. It’s earned. Through loyalty. Through love. Through fighting for what matters.”

She tightened her grip just enough to make Elara gasp.

”And you... you’re nothing without your toys and your family name.”

With a smooth, powerful motion, Luna spun and slammed Elara down onto the cracked platform. The impact wasn’t meant to kill — it was measured, controlled by Luna’s mastery of her new form. Stone shattered beneath Elara’s back. The noble girl cried out in pain, coughing as the air was driven from her lungs.

Luna stood over her, white hair cascading down, looking every bit the majestic winter wolf.

Elara tried to rise, arms trembling, but her body refused. Tears of frustration and humiliation stung her eyes. ”This... this isn’t over...” she wheezed.

Luna shook her head slowly. ”It is.”

She raised one clawed hand, glowing with moonlight energy, and brought it down in a final, precise strike — not to kill, but to knock Elara cleanly unconscious. The blow landed perfectly on the side of Elara’s neck. The noble girl’s eyes rolled back, and she slumped motionless on the ruined platform.

The colosseum was dead silent for one long second.

Then the announcer’s voice — Elowen Voss’s — rang out, strained but clear.

”The winner... by knockout... Luna Nightshade of the Nightshade family!”

The arena exploded into thunderous cheers.

Commoners roared Luna’s name. Even some nobles looked stunned into reluctant respect. The higher gallery erupted with applause and excited shouts from Aiden’s group.

Liana jumped up and down. ”Luna won! She won!”

Kee whistled loudly. ”That was insane!”

Mee smiled brightly. ”She was so graceful...”

Aiden’s wives beamed with pride.

Luna stood tall in the center of the destruction, chest rising and falling steadily. Her Winter Apex Form slowly began to recede — white hair gradually darkening back to jade-black, pupils returning to normal, ears and tail shifting back to their usual colors. But the glow of power still lingered in her blue eyes.

She turned toward the higher gallery, looked straight at Aiden, and smiled — tired but radiant.

”Master... I did it,” she shouted excitedly, though only Aiden’s enhanced senses caught the words.

She raised one hand in victory, tail (now back to normal) wagging once with exhausted joy.

The colosseum chanted her name.

”Luna! Luna! Luna!”

From the noble section, Elarion shot to his feet the instant the announcer declared Luna the winner. In a blur of movement that defied normal human speed, he vanished from the high gallery and reappeared kneeling beside his fallen twin sister on the ruined platform.

One moment he had been seated far above, the next he was right there, cradling Elara’s unconscious body with surprising gentleness. He carefully lifted her into his arms, her head resting against his chest as her torn red blazer fluttered weakly in the breeze.

Elara’s eyes fluttered open for a brief moment, hazy with pain and exhaustion. With trembling effort, she raised her right hand and cupped her brother’s cheek, her icy-blue eyes filled with regret.

”I’m... sorry, Dear Brother...” she whispered hoarsely, voice barely audible.

Elarion’s expression softened for a fraction of a second. He gently brushed a strand of her white hair away from her face.

”It’s alright,” he murmured quietly, his tone steady and reassuring. ”You did your best.”

Then his gaze lifted sharply toward the highest gallery where Aiden sat surrounded by his wives. Their eyes met across the distance. Elarion’s stare was cold, intense, and filled with unmistakable challenge — the look of someone already preparing for their own inevitable confrontation.

Aiden met the gaze evenly... then smirked, the corner of his mouth curling upward in clear acceptance of the silent declaration.

Elarion said nothing more. He turned and carried Elara off the stage with dignified grace, disappearing through the noble exit tunnel as medics rushed to follow.

Only then did Luna begin walking slowly toward the edge of the platform.
