Beast Taming: Reincarnated With The Ultimate Bond System!

Chapter 309: Chapter : 309 : Ling Xinying V/S Nyxion Nightshade! 2

The colosseum hummed with growing excitement as Nyxion and Líng Xīnyíng continued their lively duel on the cracked arena floor.

Nyxion bounced forward with a cheerful laugh, her fluffy black tail swishing wildly. She swiped with her elongated claws in a playful arc, aiming for Líng’s side. ”You’re really good at dodging! It’s like dancing with a dragon!”

Líng spun gracefully, her silver-white hair flowing as she deflected the claw strike with a smooth palm. She countered with a low, sweeping kick that forced Nyxion to hop back. ”And you’re so bouncy and fast! It feels like playing with a happy kitten!”

They clashed again in the center — Nyxion’s claws meeting Líng’s flowing palm strikes with sharp, sparking impacts. The two girls were clearly enjoying themselves, their movements energetic and full of life rather than deadly intent.

Nyxion grinned, fangs glinting. ”You’re not even breathing hard yet! Let’s make this even more fun!”

Líng’s blue eyes sparkled with mischief as she launched a series of rapid palm strikes, each one precise and dragon-like in its fluid power. ”Okay! But don’t cry if I land a good hit!”

The nobles in the gallery were growing more restless, their shouts becoming louder and more desperate.

”End this farce already!”

”Defeat that commoner whore!”

”Show her the superiority of true blood!”

Líng and Nyxion both heard the shouts clearly. They exchanged a quick glance mid-fight — Líng’s palm striking Nyxion’s extended claw with a resonant clang.

Líng smiled softly, not missing a beat as she flowed into another elegant spinning kick.

Nyxion nodded enthusiastically, dodging the kick with a happy little hop.

They continued their cheerful exchange of blows — Nyxion’s claws slicing through the air in playful patterns, Líng’s dragon-style martial art flowing like a living river. Every clash was met with bright laughter and light teasing.

The fight remained balanced and enjoyable. Neither was pushing with their full power yet — they were simply having fun, testing each other, and slowly building a genuine friendship through their cheerful combat.

Back in the noble section of the gallery, a little away from the main crowd, Elarion and Elara sat together.

Elara clung tightly to her twin brother’s side, her head resting comfortably on his shoulder, her body pressed close. Her hand was interlocked with his, fingers laced possessively. She watched the duel with clear disgust, lips pursed in annoyance.

”She is being too friendly with that mud-blood,” Elara whined, her voice sounding like a spoiled child. ”Her family has always been very infuriating.”

She turned her eyes up toward Elarion’s face, pouting cutely. ”Brother... don’t ignore me.”

Elarion had been staring quietly toward the higher gallery — toward Aiden. He blinked, then turned to her with a soft smile, gently brushing a strand of white hair from her cheek.

”Oh... sorry. I didn’t mean to,” he said warmly.

Elara blushed faintly, but her pout remained. ”I forgive you.”

Then she added, still clinging to him, ”Why were you staring at him? Is it because of your duel?”

Elarion nodded, now focusing fully on her. ”Well... yes. I was just thinking... do you think I can defeat him?”

Elara lifted her head from his shoulder immediately and cupped his face with both hands, looking at him seriously. ”Yes. You can. You will. My hero is the strongest.”

Elarion’s eyes widened for a moment before softening with affection. ”Thank you.”

Elara added shyly, looking away for a second, ”I will win my match too. You better win yours. And then...” Her cheeks turned pink. ”And then we can... you know... be together.”

Elarion’s smile didn’t falter. ”I would love to.”

Elara nodded shyly and rested her head back on his shoulder, eyes returning to the duel below.

Meanwhile, on the arena floor, Nyxion and Líng continued their friendly fight.

Nyxion swiped with her claws again, grinning. ”You’re really fun to fight! Let’s keep going until we both feel satisfied!”

Líng laughed brightly, countering with a graceful palm strike. ”Yes! I feel the same! This is the best duel I’ve had in a long time!”

They clashed once more — cheerful laughter mixing with the sound of impacts — clearly enjoying every moment and forming a genuine bond through their playful combat.

The duel showed no signs of ending soon.

Both girls were still fresh, smiling, and happily continuing their energetic exchange.

---

The high gallery was alive with soft conversation and warm energy as everyone watched Nyxion and Líng Xīnyíng continue their cheerful duel below.

Luna clapped her hands excitedly, wolf ears perked high. ”Look at Nyxion! She’s having so much fun! Her tail is wagging like crazy and she keeps giggling between every strike. It’s adorable!”

Nyxion bounced across the arena floor with bright laughter, claws swiping playfully while Líng flowed around her with graceful dragon-style movements. The two girls were clearly enjoying themselves, exchanging blows with smiles and light teasing rather than deadly intent.

Nayla leaned back with a seductive smile, licking her lips slowly. ”Mmm... she really is having the time of her life. Look at that bouncy energy. It’s quite... stimulating to watch.”

Selvara, still nestled against Aiden’s chest, huffed softly in her usual tsundere way, though her pale eyes were warm. ”Hmph... she’s smiling too much for a serious fight. But... it suits her. She looks happy.”

Venya rumbled happily from behind, wings fluttering with pride. ”Nyxion is having fun! Venya can feel her joy from here. Nyxion is playing like a happy dragon!”

Valeforia smirked, crossing her legs. ”She’s turning a duel into a game. I like that energy. Makes the whole thing more entertaining to watch.”

Vegia smiled shyly, hands clasped together. ”She looks so cheerful... I’m glad she’s not getting hurt. It’s nice seeing her smile like that.”

Zerra bounced on her toes, grinning widely. ”Nyxion is super fun! She keeps laughing even when she blocks those kicks! I wanna fight like that too someday!”

Aethoniel fluttered her wings softly, offering a gentle smile. ”She seems really happy... it makes me feel happy too. They both look like they’re making friends.”

Xylendra tilted her head, voice quiet but sincere. ”It’s rare to see a duel this joyful. She’s enjoying every moment.”

Lysandra nodded elegantly, her voice warm. ”Nyxion is shining out there. Her joy is contagious. It’s beautiful to watch.”

Liana grinned from beside Ela, unable to contain her excitement. ”She’s so bouncy and cute! Look at her tail! I bet she’s having the best time ever!”

Ela smiled softly, amethyst eyes shining. ”She really does look happy. It’s nice to see her like this — full of life and laughter.”

Arisha, sitting nearby with her sword now safely stored, gave a small nod of approval. ”She’s fighting with heart. That kind of joy in battle is rare.”

Aiden watched the scene below with a small, satisfied smile. He gently stroked Selvara’s hair with his free hand.

”She looks hotter like this,” he said quietly, voice low but carrying just enough for the nearby wives to hear. ”That bright smile, the way her tail wags when she’s having fun... it suits her perfectly. Nyxion is always beautiful, but when she’s this joyful and free... it’s something else.”

Luna giggled. ”Master thinks Nyxion looks hot when she’s happy! I agree! She’s glowing out there!”

Nayla purred softly, leaning in. ”Mmm... I can see why. That playful energy is quite attractive. She’s practically radiating happiness.”

Selvara huffed, cheeks faintly pink, but she didn’t pull away from Aiden’s hand. ”Baka... saying such things so openly. But... yes. She does look good when she’s like this.”

Venya clapped her hands, wings fluttering. ”Nyxion is happy! My Lord thinks Nyxion looks hotter! Venya agrees!”

The wives continued their soft, affectionate commentary as they watched Nyxion and Líng continue their light-hearted exchange below. The two girls were still smiling, laughing between strikes, clearly forming a genuine friendship through their playful combat.

Aiden’s gaze remained fixed on the arena, a quiet pride in his eyes as he watched one of his beloved wives shine in her own joyful way.

---

The colosseum hummed with growing excitement as Nyxion and Líng Xīnyíng continued their lively, cheerful duel.

Nyxion bounced forward with a happy giggle, her elongated claws swiping in a playful arc. ”You’re really fun to fight! Should we... make it a little more serious now? Increase our power and finish this properly?”

Líng spun gracefully, silver-white hair flowing as she deflected the claw strike with a smooth palm. She countered with a low, sweeping kick, her leg whipping like a dragon’s tail. ”I was thinking the same thing! We’ve been having so much fun... but maybe it’s time to show a bit more of our real strength?”

They clashed again in the center — Nyxion’s claws meeting Líng’s flowing palm strikes with sharp, sparking impacts. Both girls were still smiling, breathing lightly, clearly reluctant to end the playful atmosphere.

Nyxion dodged a graceful spinning kick and landed lightly, tail swishing. ”But... I don’t want to stop having fun yet. You’re really nice and strong!”

Líng laughed brightly, stepping in with another series of fluid palm strikes. ”Me neither! This feels more like playing with a friend than fighting. But... if we keep going like this, the crowd might get bored.”

Nyxion blocked the strikes with her forearms, grinning ear to ear. ”True... and Heart Lord is watching. I want to show him I can be serious when I need to.”

Líng nodded, blue eyes sparkling with reluctant agreement. ”Same here. My family’s dragon-style is best when I give it my all. Okay... let’s do it. Let’s increase our power and finish this fight properly. But no hard feelings, right?”

Nyxion’s golden eyes lit up with excitement as she nodded enthusiastically. ”No hard feelings at all! Let’s give everyone a good show!”

Both girls stepped back slightly, their stances shifting — Nyxion’s claws extending a little further, mana beginning to flare around her, while Líng’s posture became more grounded, ancient dragon energy starting to coil around her like invisible currents.

They looked at each other one last time, smiles still bright but now carrying a hint of determination.

”Ready?” Nyxion asked.

”Ready,” Líng replied with a playful wink.

The duel was about to enter its next phase.
