My Youth Began With Him

“Forcibly kiss you? Girl, your imagination is wild…” Su Yu was speechless.

“Hurry up and get out of the car. Otherwise, we’ll be stuck here.” Su Yu impatiently pointed at the cars behind them.

Suddenly stopping his car on the highway caused the cars behind him to congest and honk nonstop… U.p..dated b.y Box novel.com

The traffic police rushed to his side, but they were afraid to approach when they saw that it was Su Yu.

They held their walkie-talkies and comforted the cars behind them…

Huo Mian turned around too and was taken by surprise, forty or fifty cars were gathered within a span of less than a minute.

The scene was spectacular, and the beeping sounds made her unusually agitated.

At last, she decided to leave the car.

Unwillingly, Huo Mian opened the car door and walked out from the driver’s seat.

“What do you want, just say it.”

Su Yu glanced at her before taking something off of his neck and putting it into Huo Mian’s hand.

Huo Mian was just about to say that she didn’t want it.

However, she heard Su Yu say, “Chill, this isn’t something expensive. It’s a bullet shell that I kept from my military days. I kept it because I found it pretty. Here you go, happy birthday. If you don’t mind that it’s worthless, just keep it. It’s my thoughts that count.”

Su Yu was very smart, his words didn’t leave any room for Huo Mian to back out.

He only gave her a bullet shell, it really wasn’t worth anything, but if Huo Mian didn’t accept it, he might think that she detested it.

So this time, Huo Mian had no reason to say ‘no’…

She looked down at the aged shell resting on her palm, it couldn’t be more simple and ordinary.

“Thank you.” Huo Mian tightened her grasp and thanked Su Yu with the bullet shell in hand.

“Huo Mian, happy 24th birthday.”

After speaking, Su Yu turned around and left…

Looking at Su Yu’s silhouette, Huo Mian was suddenly moved…

This man always acted courageously but crazily out of other’s expectations.

Just before Huo Mian got in her car, without turning his head, Su Yu suddenly said loudly, “It represents a wish. If you have any wishes, bring it and find me. I’ll do everything in my power to make anything you want me to do to come true.”

If what he said just then moved her a little, this moment, Huo Mian’s whole heart was moved…

It turned out that Su Yu didn’t just give her a bullet shell; he gave her a wish…

It was such a big promise; it didn’t matter if she wanted a simple cheque, an expensive mansion, or a luxurious sports car.

Even if she wanted shares of Imperial Star, as long as she was willing to ask, and as long as it was within Su Yu’s capabilities…

That was truly a big birthday present…

Looking at that plain bullet shell, Huo Mian suddenly felt the weight of the gift…

“How did it go? Did you do it?” Wei Liao and Tang Chuan hastily asked.

“Mhm, she took it.”

“Perfect, but… did you really promise her a wish? What if she wanted you to marry her?” Tang Chuan demanded.

“You’re out of your mind, if that was the case, it would be great. Our Young Master would burst with joy.” Wei Liao rolled his eyes at Tang Chuan.

“This gift isn’t a hustle, whenever she’s ready, she can come to find me with the bullet shell,” quietly, Su Yu said.

The bullet casing belonged to a bullet that hit him during a shootout with his enemies on a mission. It hit his left chest and was very close to piercing his heart, and he almost lost his life.

So, he thought that the bullet shell was a lucky charm. After the surgery, he asked the nurse for it as a keepsake.

He kept it on him ever since, and a good few years had passed by in a flash…

Last night, he suddenly had the idea to gift it to Huo Mian, which led him to set up the stunt today.

The fireworks and bullet shell, there was no precedent with this combination, and no one would ever see it again. Su Yu was truly the strangest amongst the strange.

When Huo Mian got home, Qin Chu was still at work.

After briefly cleaning the place, she sat on the couch to watch the television. The evening news was covering the fireworks on the highway.

The press didn’t mention a word about Su Yu, probably because they were afraid to do so…

At that moment, Huo Mian’s phone suddenly rang…
