You Were Told to Design Software, But You Created Tiktok?!

331: Section 331The open beta server for League of Legends has officially launched!

Countless players, who had been waiting in front of their computers, almost instantly flooded into the game simultaneously.

In Shucheng, Yan Country,

”Damn, this game is good. The graphics are much better than when I watched the live stream. And only after playing it myself did I realize how convenient the new player tutorial is, and there’s even a dedicated bot mode.”

”Why are you so slow? I can already play matchmaking.”

”Didn’t you start earlier than me? You go ahead, I haven’t finished training here yet.”

Listening to the voices of a few players next to him who were playing League of Legends,

Qian Yan curled his lips in disdain.

”Trash game, how can it be as fun as Dota? It can’t even compare to a hair on Dota’s head.”

As a loyal fan of Dota,

Qian Yan had been playing Dota since its earliest version, and later switched to the new version of Dota released by Ji Pang.

Although his gaming skill was not good, and his talent was very poor, he was basically flamed in every game, but he was still quite loyal to Dota.

In his opinion,

the game Dota was the god of all games; it was impossible for a second game to compare, let alone a similar game.

So before,

when he learned of the existence of League of Legends, he was quite disdainful.

He only considered this game to be one that only knew how to market itself. All the previous trending topics were just hype, and this game was not as fun as rumored.

He had never even watched any live streams related to League of Legends.

In his opinion,

after this game’s open beta, most users would definitely find Dota more fun, and this game was just trash, ultimately destined for a disastrous failure.

And hearing Qian Yan’s voice,

the other people around him were a bit displeased.

Although they had only been playing League of Legends for a short time,

they had already felt the fun of League of Legends. This game was indeed much more interesting than Dota.

”Old Qian, stop pretending.”

”You play Dota every day, but your skills never improve, and you often get flamed by your teammates. You might as well come play this simpler League of Legends.”

Qian Yan sneered directly.

”Trash game, it only wastes my time.”

”Then tell me, what about this game is trash? What makes it inferior to Dota?” his friend asked.

Hearing this sentence,

Qian Yan immediately prepared to speak about League of Legends’ shortcomings.

But his friend immediately raised a hand to interrupt him.

”Don’t use those universal formulas. Talk about your own experience.”

”When I criticize a game, I at least play it first before speaking. If you haven’t even played this game, then with all due respect, you don’t even have the right to criticize it.”

After this person finished speaking, Qian Yan was also stunned for a moment, his face instantly flushed red.

”Today, I’ll show you.”

”Why Dota is the origin of all things!”

”Just one game, and I can tell you a hundred reasons why this game can’t compare to Dota!”

After speaking,

Qian Yan directly opened the League of Legends client on his desktop, then logged in with WeChat.

Chapter 256: Terrifying Results, Six Million Registered Users on the First Day!

Seeing Qian Yan’s actions,

his two friends next to him exchanged glances, then smiled and continued their game.

And Qian Yan also officially entered the world of League of Legends.

”To say that Dota can’t compare to League of Legends without even experiencing the true fun of Dota is too ridiculous.”

Looking at the loading screen for the new player tutorial, Qian Yan couldn’t help but murmur a few more times.

”Isn’t it just that QWER are skills, and movement and skill casting are similar to Dota?”

”What’s so fun about this game?”

Looking at the new player tutorial, Qian Yan was full of disdain.

In his opinion,

all these designs belonged to Dota; there was nothing special about them.

Just as Qian Yan was going through the new player tutorial, his friend next to him added a remark.

”Don’t think that just finishing the new player tutorial and bot games is enough. You at least have to play a few matchmaking games, and then come back to talk about this game’s shortcomings.”

”Shut up, I know.”

A few hours later.

”Firstly,”

”this game removed mechanics like denying, greatly reducing gameplay and fun. Without denying, there’s much less lane interaction, and without trees, various vision-manipulating and tree-juke tactics are also gone.”

”If there are no trees, aren’t there bushes?”

”The design of the bushes is too simple and boring, and this game actually lacks tower defense settings. How many exciting Dota comeback games relied on tower defense?”

”And not only is there no tower defense, but there’s also no gold loss upon death, which leads to too low a death penalty and no fun at all.”

At this moment,

Qian Yan was telling his friends ten reasons why League of Legends was inferior to Dota.

Listening to his words,

his friend spread his hands.

”I, on the other hand, think these designs actually make the game more fun.”

”The fun and gameplay of League of Legends are infinitely superior to Dota.”

Qian Yan shook his head directly.

”Those with different paths cannot plan together. I’ve already played League of Legends, and it hasn’t changed my impression of it. A trash game is a trash game.”

Hearing this sentence,

Qian Yan’s friend was also a bit helpless.

”Forget it, whatever you say. Let’s get off the computer and eat, then it’s time to go back to school.”

After speaking,

the people around Qian Yan were about to get off the computer and leave.

But Qian Yan directly shook his head.

”You guys go first. I’ve been playing League of Legends for a while and haven’t played many Dota games. I need to go back and play a few rounds of Dota.”

”The previous time has already been wasted on League of Legends; now I need to seize the moment.”

After saying this,

Qian Yan directly clicked on Dota on his desktop and started logging in.

Seeing this scene,

his friends next to him also nodded, then all got off the computers and started to leave.

Although Qian Yan was currently logging into Dota, his gaze was secretly watching the few people who had just left.

After the few people had completely walked out of the internet cafe,

Qian Yan immediately closed the Dota client, then reopened League of Legends.

”I’ve already lost three in a row; how can I not win one?”

”This game is so damn interesting.”

”Dota, wait for me. As soon as I win a game here, I’ll go back and play you.”]}
