You Were Told to Design Software, But You Created Tiktok?!

188: Section 188General Manager Liu Pin was stunned as he looked at the figure in front of him.

General Manager Ma also smiled.

“I was just passing by and heard you were here.”

General Manager Liu Pin nodded with a smile.

“It should have been General Manager Xiao Ma who came personally; we at Penguin also attach great importance to this project.”

“But General Manager Ma, as you know, Junzi Group recently released WeChat, and it has already captured a portion of the market by targeting older users. General Manager Xiao Ma is very concerned about this matter.”

“And today.”

“It just so happens to be a major update for WeChat, which is why General Manager Xiao Ma couldn’t make it.”

Listening to General Manager Liu Pin’s explanation, General Manager Ma smiled and waved his hand.

“I know.”

“General Manager Xiao Ma already called me.”

“He said he didn’t expect WeChat to truly gain a foothold.”

“However, the chat software field is, after all, your Penguin’s home ground. I imagine it won’t be long before WeChat is completely defeated by you.”

General Manager Liu Pin nodded.

“I hope so.”

“QQ is currently frantically trying to win over WeChat’s older user base.”

“However, it will likely be very difficult to achieve in the short term.”

Although General Manager Liu Pin was not in charge of projects related to QQ, he was very clear about QQ’s current situation.

WeChat, having established itself in the market through older users, is indeed difficult to eradicate in the short term.

Listening to General Manager Liu Pin’s words, General Manager Ma also stepped forward and patted his shoulder.

“I warned General Manager Xiao Ma early on.”

“I told him not to be so contemptuous of his opponents.”

“If, at the very first moment WeChat was launched, he had let QQ go all out, intercepted all of WeChat’s promotions and marketing, and immediately copied all of WeChat’s features, then WeChat wouldn’t be like this now.”

“Ultimately.”

“It was General Manager Xiao Ma’s arrogance that harmed him. It shouldn’t have been this troublesome, but now WeChat has dragged the situation into a long-term struggle.”

Listening to General Manager Ma’s words, General Manager Liu Pin couldn’t help but shake his head.

Perhaps General Manager Ma was the only one outside who dared to evaluate Penguin’s General Manager Xiao Ma in such a way.

And General Manager Ma’s voice continued.

“However.”

“This Wang Mo still has some self-awareness.”

General Manager Ma smiled.

“He dares to challenge QQ, but he doesn’t have the courage to challenge my Blue Wallet.”

“This shows that in his eyes, QQ is easier to successfully challenge.”

“As for Ali Group’s Blue Wallet, perhaps he doesn’t even dare to think about it.”

Upon hearing this.

General Manager Liu Pin was stunned.

He didn’t expect General Manager Ma to turn the conversation in this direction. Before, Blue Wallet’s daily active users had always been fewer than QQ’s, always suppressed by QQ.

But this time.

QQ’s initial setback with WeChat provided him with a much-needed opportunity.

“You should know that since Blue Wallet was launched, there have actually been quite a few software and companies wanting to create online payment services.”

“But not a single enterprise has managed to develop their online payment to a large scale.”

“Yet, after several years, QQ’s first challenge allowed WeChat to gain its own market share. This is truly unacceptable.”

Listening to General Manager Ma’s words, General Manager Liu Pin’s expression also became somewhat displeased.

He couldn’t help but say.

“It’s just because QQ’s initial decision had a small problem. Although WeChat now has 100 million users, it is still far from threatening QQ.”

“It won’t be long before QQ will ultimately be able to resolve WeChat.”

“If we had shown a cautious attitude back then, WeChat would not have developed like this.”

After General Manager Liu Pin finished speaking, General Manager Ma immediately laughed.

“I was just saying it casually; you don’t need to be so serious.”

“Of course I know that QQ will ultimately defeat WeChat.”

“By the way.”

“After you go back, please give my regards to General Manager Xiao Ma, and also advise him not to be so arrogant next time, lest problems arise again.”

“Perhaps it was General Manager Xiao Ma’s arrogance that gave Wang Mo the courage to challenge QQ. You see, he doesn’t dare to touch Blue Wallet.”

Facing General Manager Ma’s sarcastic remarks, General Manager Liu Pin couldn’t find many words to refute.

Because the current situation.

Was indeed as General Manager Ma said: because QQ initially didn’t take it seriously, WeChat gained its own user base.

“I will convey General Manager Ma’s message.”

“Then I’ll take my leave.”

After General Manager Liu Pin nodded, he began to pack the contract documents on the table, preparing to return to Magic City with the lawyer behind him.

And just at this moment.

Several hurried and anxious figures directly pushed open the door of the conference room.

“General Manager Ma, something has happened.”

The newcomer said urgently.

Looking at the person, General Manager Ma was also a bit puzzled.

Because these few people who pushed open the door and rushed in were all high-level executives from the Blue Wallet department.

“What is it?”

“Why are you all so anxious?”

General Manager Ma asked.

The few people didn’t speak immediately, but instead looked at General Manager Liu Pin, who was off to the side.

Because General Manager Liu Pin was, after all, not from Ali Group; he was just an outsider.

General Manager Liu Pin also understood what they meant. After packing his documents, he prepared to leave.

However.

Just as he was about to reach the door, he suddenly received a message on his phone.

Looking at this message.

General Manager Liu Pin’s footsteps suddenly stopped, and his expression became extremely surprised.

Seeing him suddenly stop, General Manager Ma asked in confusion.

“Is there anything else?”

General Manager Liu Pin slowly turned to look at General Manager Ma.

“I probably know why these people are looking for you, General Manager Ma.”

“This matter is also related to our Penguin.”

“It seems, General Manager Ma, that your judgment of Wang Mo this time was mistaken.”

“He is even crazier than you imagine.”

Chapter 125: The commotion outside, this is WeChat’s complete form.

General Manager Liu Pin’s voice echoed continuously in the conference room.

Listening to this, General Manager Ma’s confusion deepened.

He turned to look at the high-level executives of Blue Wallet.

“What exactly happened?”
