You Were Told to Design Software, But You Created Tiktok?!

153: Section 153“The reason Pinduoduo and Taobao can coexist is because their differences are significant.”

“However, Dota Mobile and Honor of Kings have almost no major differences.”

“In the future, Dota Mobile will definitely copy all our updates frantically to keep the two games similar in gameplay.”

“I am unwilling to let a game that constantly copies Honor of Kings exist.”

“What’s more, Dota Mobile’s current user base of over twenty million originally belonged to Honor of Kings.”

“Since we can completely defeat this game, why should we let it coexist with Honor of Kings?”

Listening to Wang Mo’s words,

the few people present couldn’t help but exchange glances.

Their eyes held expressions of surprise.

“We can completely defeat this game?”

Zhang Fan asked, puzzled.

“But,”

“Boss, you should be very clear.”

“Now, Dota Mobile is already deeply integrated with QQ.”

“As long as QQ exists, Dota Mobile can never be defeated by external forces.”

“Our Honor of Kings can no longer do anything to Dota Mobile.”

Listening to this, Wang Mo smiled.

He met Zhang Fan’s gaze.

“You just said, as long as what software exists, Dota Mobile can never be defeated by external forces?”

Zhang Fan replied directly,

“QQ.”

“As long as QQ, the number one chat software in Yan Country, exists, Dota Mobile can continue to operate.”

Upon hearing this,

Wang Mo slowly took a deep breath.

“Then we,”

“will create a new chat software that surpasses QQ!”

Upon hearing these words,

everyone present was stunned.

And Wang Mo’s voice continued to resound.

“And this chat software,”

“I will name it,”

“WeChat!”

Chapter 100: New Software, WeChat Officially Enters Development Stage!

As Wang Mo’s voice slowly echoed in the office,

everyone present was stunned.

Because no one had expected that

the method Wang Mo spoke of to defeat Dota Mobile was to directly create a brand new chat software!

One must know that

QQ has been launched for twenty years and has long firmly established itself as the top chat software in Yan Country; in fact, for these twenty years, it has never been shaken by any company or any software.

If Penguin Group’s gaming domain is Penguin Group’s core business,

then the QQ software

is the foundation upon which Penguin Group was able to rise!

To loosen this foundation beneath the currently massive Penguin Group would probably be almost impossible to achieve.

One must know that

QQ’s daily active users now number six hundred million, making it the software with the most daily active users in Yan Country, bar none!

And now,

Wang Mo said he wanted to challenge this software, create a brand new chat software, and even surpass QQ.

Such words,

how could they not shock the few people present.

So, immediately,

after Wang Mo finished speaking,

basically everyone present was stunned, and no one spoke for a moment.

After a long while,

Zhang Fan swallowed, slowly looking at Wang Mo.

“Boss,”

“are you serious?”

As this voice sounded, everyone’s gaze turned towards Wang Mo.

They really wanted to hear from Wang Mo that he was joking.

But facing Zhang Fan’s question, Wang Mo slowly nodded.

Seeing this,

everyone couldn’t help but take a few deep breaths.

And Wang Mo at this moment

also nodded towards the door, and then the secretary brought in several stacks of documents, placing them one by one in front of everyone.

Then,

Wang Mo continued,

“Actually, I had long planned to develop a brand new chat software at some stage.”

“Since this time, Penguin Group, in order to keep Dota Mobile alive, forcibly bound it to QQ’s social features,”

“then why don’t we also launch our chat software at this stage.”

“This is the detailed proposal.”

“You can take a look first.”

Listening to Wang Mo’s words and looking at the documents,

everyone couldn’t help but exchange glances.

When this document was placed in front of them, they already understood.

Wang Mo was not joking this time.

He was truly preparing to directly confront Penguin QQ!

Thinking of this,

everyone also slowly took a deep breath and began to flip through the documents in front of them.

And seeing everyone’s shocked expressions, Wang Mo had actually anticipated it.

After all, the current Penguin QQ has indeed taken deep root in Yan Country; no matter from what direction one looks, there is no possibility of it being shaken.

In his previous life,

before WeChat was launched, no one believed that a new chat software could defeat QQ.

But WeChat truly did it.

It swept across the entire Yan Country in a very short time, surpassing QQ to become the chat software with the highest market share.

QQ’s daily active users of six hundred million and monthly active users of seven hundred million already sound exaggerated.

But one must know that

WeChat’s daily active users can directly reach one billion! And its monthly active users even exceed 1.3 billion!

This number

has almost encompassed all smartphone users in Yan Country!
