You Were Told to Design Software, But You Created Tiktok?!

155: Section 155“But if…”

“This small store is developing its own online payment system.”

Qin Haisheng took a deep breath.

“Then Ali Group will really make a move!”

“So, if we really decide to launch this software,”

“Then we will be facing two behemoths, Penguin Group and Ali Group, and we will be acting in their core areas. Their counterattack will definitely be extremely strong.”

“The resistance we face will probably exceed the sum of the resistance faced by the previous three software!”

“The difficulties WeChat will encounter will also far exceed our imagination.”

Listening to everyone’s words,

Wang Mo finally spoke slowly.

“I actually know all the information you mentioned.”

“But that doesn’t change my mind.”

“Whether it’s Penguin Group or Ali Group, even if we act in their core areas, I believe WeChat can meet my expectations.”

“It will become the first truly universal software that everyone uses!”

“By then,”

“Every smartphone in Yan Country will have this software!”

As Wang Mo’s words fell,

The room became quiet again.

Only the gradually quickening breaths of Zhang Fan and the others could be heard.

Looking at Wang Mo, who had a calm expression but incredibly confident words, Zhang Fan swallowed.

Then he slapped the table and stood up from his chair.

“First, I want to say, although I often said you were crazy, boss, developing Pinduoduo to challenge Taobao, and making games to challenge Dota Mobile and so on.”

“But those words were only because I was too shocked by your choices, boss.”

“But now,”

Looking at the document in front of him, Zhang Fan took a deep breath.

“To make a chat software that surpasses QQ and also includes an online payment system,”

“I really think you’re crazy, boss.”

“However,”

Zhang Fan looked at Wang Mo, his expression incredibly firm!

“Crazy it is.”

“Everything I have now was given by you, boss.”

“I’m willing to go crazy with you!”

“Isn’t it just Penguin Group’s QQ, isn’t it Ali Group’s Blue Wallet?”

“Let’s just do it!”

Listening to Zhang Fan’s words, Wang Mo also smiled helplessly.

Then he looked at the others in the conference room.

After a long sigh, the others also slowly nodded.

“Boss, our thoughts are the same as Zhang Fan’s.”

“Since you’ve made a decision, we will definitely see it through to the end.”

“Even if this path will likely be quite difficult in the future.”

Listening to everyone’s words,

Wang Mo slowly nodded.

Then he looked at everyone and slowly said,

“Then let’s not wait any longer.”

“I’ll go back and assign the development tasks right away.”

“Aside from the construction of the main framework, I will let you be responsible for the other systems and interfaces on WeChat.”

“As for the main person in charge of this project,”

Wang Mo took a deep breath, his expression serious.

“I will personally take charge!”

Although Wang Mo had led the development of the previous games, and he had handled many operational plans and software market controls.

But in reality,

Wang Mo had delegated the responsibility for these software.

Zhang Fan was in charge of Douyin, Qin Haisheng was in charge of Pinduoduo, and Zhou Qiang was in charge of Honor of Kings.

But this time,

Wang Mo decided to personally take charge of WeChat.

This was enough to show

How much importance Wang Mo placed on this brand-new chat software.

It must be known,

Within Penguin Group, even for core projects like Dota Mobile, Pony Ma was not the main person in charge.

If there was

Any software within Penguin Group that Pony Ma truly directly controlled,

Then this software

Must be QQ, without a doubt.

Similarly,

Jack Ma in Ali Group also almost controlled everything related to Blue Wallet.

These key software, which were the foundation of their respective groups, even Pony Ma and Jack Ma were unwilling to easily relinquish power.

And they

Had not experienced a major impact on their foundations for many, many years.

At this time, in the Internet domain of Yan Country,

Almost no one would believe that Penguin Group’s QQ or Ali Group’s Blue Wallet could truly be shaken.

It was impossible to even imagine.

But what everyone outside didn’t know was,

Just one month after Dota Mobile launched its social features,

Just tens of kilometers away from Penguin Building, in another building,

On an ordinary day that everyone thought was no different from usual,

A software capable of simultaneously shaking the foundations of both Penguin and Ali officially entered the development stage! One hundred and one chapters: Wang Mo’s exclusive interview, the next mysterious software!

Due to the confidentiality of this project,

In the early stages of development, Wang Mo did not extensively recruit new department employees.

Instead, he transferred many highly skilled individuals from other departments to simultaneously develop WeChat.

Zhou Qiang and others also secretly assisted Wang Mo.

Because the basic logic and architecture of WeChat were not too complex,

Under Wang Mo’s leadership, the development of WeChat progressed extremely quickly.

In just two weeks,

The preliminary framework and trial version of the WeChat software had already been developed.

However,

Knowing the importance of WeChat, Wang Mo did not want any problems to arise with WeChat. He had to polish this software to be incredibly complete before he could launch it.
