Global Lords: I Have Information System

These Griffins, as if energized like chickens on adrenaline, flapped their wings and charged toward Zong Shen.

Facing the flock of Griffins, Zong Shen felt a great sense of oppression.

Even the Captain-level Griffins were colossal beasts in Zong Shen’s eyes.

Not to mention those Commander-level and Overlord-level Griffins.

At this moment, these Griffins were all screeching, and the sound of their wings alone could deafen one’s ears.

It’s just as well they can’t speak human language; otherwise, they’d surely be hurling insults now.

The tens of meters’ distance vanished in an instant as the closest Griffins reached him first.

They spat out Wind Blades, and the sky was filled with pale cyan Blade Light.

This was their Talent ability, requiring only the consumption of Mana, with no need for chanting or cooldown.

The sudden onslaught formed a terrifying momentum.

Zong Shen adjusted his legs slightly, trying to minimize his body’s exposure to attacks.

He put all his defenses into Evil’s Filth.

The Wind Blades screeched past with piercing wind-breaking sounds, continually striking Evil’s Filth.

Creating knife-like indents and deformations on its surface.

However, these Wind Blades still couldn’t penetrate Evil’s Filth’s defenses.

As a special object used to imprison the Heart of the Holy Spirit, its nature was very peculiar.

Only a few kinds of powers could inflict limited damage on it.

Such as Demon Power and powerful Holy Light Purification Power.

In addition, Zong Shen had also experimented; high-power Thunder Magic and Flame Magic also had some effects.

As for various stabbing, slashing, and chiseling physical attacks, they were not worth mentioning.

Evil’s Filth was almost completely immune to physical-type attacks.

Even the kinetic energy from these kinds of attacks could be absorbed more than 80%.

Therefore, Wind Blades were naturally also helpless against Evil’s Filth.

After all, although Wind Blades qualify as a type of Wind Element Magic, their essential mode of damage remains physical. They are entirely formed by condensing Wind Spirit Magic Power, creating sharp, thin arc blades that cut enemies.

Eventually, these Wind Blades exhausted themselves against Evil’s Filth without being able to cleave through it, slowly disintegrating into pale cyan Wind Spirit Magic and dissipating into the air.

After these Wind Blades dissipated, a pale cyan mist almost formed in front of Zong Shen.

The residual kinetic energy halted Zong Shen’s forward floating, even causing him to start retreating.

This made him feel a bit awkward, as he still had a good number of high-power Tier Five Magic Scrolls.

As well as Type IV and Type V Goblin Bombs; tossing one out could definitely affect a large area.

However, Zong Shen was reluctant to do so, because he had long considered these Griffins to be his assets.

Every death would be one less, ultimately all becoming his loss.

Now, he was enduring the baptism of Wind Blades, not injured per se, but his hands were tied.

After all, the sky was not his domain; if this were on the ground, he’d have many more tactics at his disposal.

The Dragon Vein Griffin Wind Ridge·Roar Blood seemed uninterested in making a move.

Their fighting style was similar to the Scorpion-tailed Tiger, using ranged attacks for a wave of attrition before considering close combat.

Zong Shen, under the impact force of hundreds of Wind Blades hitting Evil’s Filth, kept retreating.

At first glance, he looked like a ball, helplessly tumbling under the densely interwoven Wind Blades,

This couldn’t go on; Zong Shen felt somewhat frustrated.

His mind began working at lightning speed, suddenly thinking of something that might solve this problem and reverse the awkward situation.

With a thought, Zong Shen began searching through his Storage Grid.

Seconds later, he found what he was looking for.

His hand flipped, producing a purple Thick Hide sack.

This sack was large, fully expanded to cover more than ten square meters.

Its edges showed signs of trimming, yet what remained was enough to cover Zong Shen completely.

The sack was filled with numerous indentations and protrusions, resembling a face dotted with pimples and pits.

It looked somewhat like the skin of a purple toad, highly unbecoming in appearance.

Ugly as it was, this sack was a material of Legendary Level.

[Skin of the Forgotten (Orange)]!

This thing held a high degree of Magic Resistance, with Elemental Neutralization capabilities.

The attack absorption ratio was 1.0 times for any attribute.

Defending against these Wind Blades shouldn’t be a problem.

Thinking this, he forcefully spread out the Skin of the Forgotten with both hands, shielding it in front of him.

Wind Blades struck with dull ”thud, thud” sounds.

In terms of pure defense, the Skin of the Forgotten wasn’t as good as Evil’s Filth.

The parts hit by Wind Blades began showing slight damage.

However, due to its Traits, it could dismember the Wind Blades before their kinetic energy was fully transferred.

Thus, it solved one of Zong Shen’s biggest problems.

He held up the Skin of the Forgotten, flying at full speed forward.

At worst, he’d lose about one or two square meters of sack material!

Simultaneously, he also shook the Illusory Dream Bracelet on his wrist, activating the group control-type skill, Illusion Dream.

He randomly selected twenty Griffins around him, putting them into an Illusion Dream state.

Instantly, he felt the pressure from the Wind Blades greatly reduced.

”Screech!”

After a huge screeching cry, all the Wind Blades stopped.

But the flapping of wings grew increasingly frenzied.

Zong Shen raised both hands, storing away the Skin of the Forgotten.

Upon opening his eyes, he saw a huge, hideous black claw, over a meter and a half in diameter, reaching for him.

Only Wind Ridge·Roar Blood could have such giant claws.
