Global Lords: I Have Information System

The Commander Level adult Griffin has a body length that can reach five to seven meters, with a wingspan of up to fifteen or sixteen meters.

It’s like an airborne bus capable of flying.

Raptor-type creatures have wingspans reaching two to three times their body length, not to mention aerial magical beasts like the Griffin.

As for the Overlord Level elder Griffin, it’s even more exaggerated, with a body length reaching around twelve to thirteen meters, and wings fully spread reach twenty-seven to twenty-eight meters.

This size is already comparable to a newly grown Little Black Dragon and Little White Dragon.

The lifespan of a Griffin is equally long-lived, usually able to live for five to six centuries.

Among them, the Golden Feathered Griffin and the Dragon Vein Griffin have even longer lifespans, with much larger sizes.

There’s a saying that such a large entrance is very fitting for an Overlord-level Dragon Vein Griffin’s shape.

All of this comes from the information provided by the Guide Module.

It’s said that Griffins have a penchant for collecting gemstones, and near their nests, there must be rich deposits of gems and gold and silver mines. Who knows if there is a precious gemstone mine nearby.

Geographically speaking, this area should already be beyond the Azshara Mine.

However, it’s also possible that there are neighboring veins.

Analyzing the actual situation, it’s still very likely.

At the cruising speed of the Goblin Airship, it would take no more than twenty or thirty minutes to reach the Griffin’s Nest.

This area is full of densely vegetated mountains and forests, making it difficult to find a safe landing site for the airship. The only flat area is the top of the cliff at the back of the Griffin’s Nest, where there’s an open space not occupied by the nest big enough for the Goblin Airship to land.

However, if landing there, they will surely be attacked by the adult and mature Griffins left in the nest.

Although the guide mentions that the Overlord-level Dragon Vein Griffin took away most of the Griffins from the nest.

But the basic defensive force in the Griffin’s Nest is still present.

The air is their stronghold, and if a desperate fight breaks out, the Goblin Airship wouldn’t last long before being torn to pieces by these guys.

And in the airship’s cabin, Zong Shen and the others would have difficulty using their full strength, putting them at a disadvantage.

Therefore, the landing site provided by Golden Thread Navigation is on the mountainside below the stone cliff.

There is also open ground there without tree cover, a thousand meters or so from the cliff top; they should be undetected if they’re careful.

As for how to climb the cliff, that’s easy, Kangnijiya can use the Group Levitation Technique, and Zong Shen has Group Levitation Runes on hand; the height difference of the cliff can meet the levitation requirements.

After making up his mind, Zong Shen sat back in the cockpit, disengaging the cruise mode, and began manual control, turning in a direction towards the back of the Griffin’s Nest.

Only a fool would fly unprotected towards the direction of the entrance.

At a flying speed of 80 kilometers per hour, it took about twenty minutes to reach the mountainside below the back of the Griffin’s Nest, where there are few trees and open space for the airship to rise and land.

When the airship steadily stopped on the mountainside, it was already six minutes past four in the afternoon.

The sunlight was gradually shifting, but the weather was still quite nice, and the temperature had returned to a normal level.

Everyone quickly left the airship cabin, stretching and preparing the weapons they carried with them.

Zong Shen was the last to leave the cabin, and he casually stored the Goblin Airship into the Storage Grid.

”Kangnijiya, use the Group Levitation Technique.”

”The rest of you follow me; I’ll use the Floating Rune.”

Zong Shen quickly instructed, noting that the Griffins’ alert range wasn’t far, at least not detected now, maybe because most of the adult and mature Griffins had already left the nest.

Kangnijiya put away his playful grin, as this was his first outing with the team since being recruited.

As a genius, he had his own combat intuition.

He gently raised his magic wand, without any visible chanting actions, light cyan Wind Spirit Magic Power wrapped around the wand, scattering like pale cyan fireworks, falling on the nearby twenty-nine teammates, making a perfect count of thirty, including himself.

Zong Shen also took out a Rune Stone, began activating and using it, selecting six people including himself, notably, Luna’s Sentinel Black Panther took up two levitation slots alone.

All members levitated, started floating up along the back of the cliff.

Taking advantage of this time, Zong Shen consulted the guide tips once again for final confirmation.

”What’s the situation above the Griffin’s Nest?”

(Your luck’s quite good, a group of Scorpion-tailed Tigers is preparing to attack; these creatures with tiger heads, eagle wings, and lion bodies are mortal enemies of the Griffin Beasts. They are smaller than Griffins, yet their combat strength isn’t bad, with their scorpion tails capable of shooting armor-piercing stingers with poison through tubular parts, each stinger like an armor-piercing arrow)

Each Scorpion-tailed Tiger can continuously shoot thirty stingers; besides that, their claws and teeth are extremely sharp, able to tear through the hard-scaled feathered wings of Griffins.

They are natural enemies, frequently hunting each other. This group of Scorpion-tailed Tigers had long been scheming, finally waiting for the Griffin Beast tribe to go on a large-scale hunt.)

The golden hint subtitles were quite lengthy, segment after segment.

They detailed the situation of the Scorpion-tailed Tiger group.

It seemed to be foretelling the fierce battle ahead.

Zong Shen quietly closed the subtitle hint. It seemed this operation was indeed timely.
