Celestial Night Emperor

Chapter 193: Chapter 193: This Is My Rule

A tempest of retribution!

A thunderous strike, aimed squarely at Minister Liu!

Everyone stared at the young man, their eyes hostile.

Minister Liu tried to shrink back and escape with the other executives, but Prince grabbed him by the collar and hauled him out.

Seeing Minister Liu just standing there like a statue, Prince lashed out with a kick, buckling his knees.

Minister Liu collapsed to his knees with a THUD, his whole body trembling.

Qin Tianxuan finally finished reviewing his daughter’s homework. He stood up calmly and walked over to Minister Liu.

”I was the one who sent Ye Mingzhu to the Silver Alliance,” Qin Tianxuan said flatly. ”And you dared to lay a hand on her? Have you gotten too comfortable over the years?”

”No, I truly didn’t!” Minister Liu’s eyes darted around. ”I was just following the rules!”

’Still talking about rules?’

’How could he be so shameless?’

Qin Tianxuan’s eyes dripped with contempt. He raised a hand and patted Minister Liu’s chubby face. ”Do you know who set the rules for the four great Silver Alliances?”

”Huh?”

Minister Liu stammered.

Beside them, Prince scoffed. ”You idiot. The so-called rules you’re talking about were established by Mr. Qin himself. You’re going to talk about rules in front of him?”

Minister Liu’s entire body went limp.

His shameless denials were useless now.

He had once been the local tyrant of the Jinling Silver Alliance Branch, second to one and above all others.

Wielding such supreme power had made him feel invincible.

But now, the man standing before him was the truly supreme existence.

His own meager power was nothing but a fleeting illusion before Qin Tianxuan, utterly meaningless.

Minister Liu was drenched in cold sweat. He struggled to lift his head. ”I dare not argue, but... but I cannot accept what you’re doing, Mr. Qin. The truth is, Ye Mingzhu was the one who tried to seduce me first. I upheld my principles. My subordinates can testify to this!”

Qin Tianxuan smiled and nodded at Prince.

Soon, Minister Liu’s secretary and assistant were brought up, stumbling as they walked.

”There were seven people there at the time. These three are your direct subordinates, and the other four are security guards!” Prince sneered. ”Did you really think they would lie for you? They might have helped you for personal gain when you were still a minister, but now, you’ve been fired! You’re nothing!”

Trembling, Minister Liu’s assistant and secretary confessed everything.

It wasn’t the first time Minister Liu had done something like this.

”He often checked client files. Any young, beautiful female client would be brought to his large office. There’s a bedroom behind that office! As for what he did... we all know.”

”Also, Mr. Liu secretly used the Silver Alliance’s money to buy shares in several companies, including Linghai National Medicine!”

Minister Liu’s secretary even produced a USB drive, which contained all the evidence of Minister Liu’s fund transfers.

The evidence was irrefutable.

Qin Tianxuan turned back to Minister Liu. ”Don’t you love talking about rules? Tell me, how many rules have you broken?”

Minister Liu knew he was finished.

But he still held his head high, like a cornered beast putting up a final struggle.

”Mr. Qin, I’m willing to return the money. Just give me one more chance!” Minister Liu’s eyes were bloodshot. ”To be honest with you, my cousin is a high-ranking officer in the Jinling Military Supervision Office, from the Battle Department! I think anyone, for the sake of the Battle Department, would have to show me some respect. I’m no longer part of the Silver Alliance’s management anyway. We can go our separate ways from now on.”

Qin Tianxuan almost laughed out of sheer anger.

He looked at Minister Liu very seriously. ”Do you have any idea who I am?”

”This...”

At Minister Liu’s level, he only knew that this was the man in control of the four great Silver Alliances. But Qin Tianxuan’s true identity was a secret known only to a few top leaders.

He swallowed hard. ”No matter who you are, Mr. Qin, you’re ultimately a businessman. As a high-ranking officer in the Battle Department, my cousin can always be of help to you in the future. Don’t you think?”

Qin Tianxuan said nothing.

The pressure created by his silence was indescribable.

The wind on the rooftop seemed to stand still.

Then, he issued an order to Prince: ”Mr. Liu’s cousin at the Jinling Military Supervision Office. Tell him to crawl his way up here within twenty minutes. No elevators!”

What?!

Minister Liu’s eyes nearly bulged out of his head. With that commanding tone, could Qin Tianxuan really make a high-ranking officer from the Military Supervision Office bow and obey?

He didn’t believe it. He absolutely refused to believe it!

But when that cousin from the Military Supervision Office finally climbed onto the rooftop and ran over, his face pale and his body drenched in sweat, Minister Liu still felt like he was in a dream.

”Is this your cousin? He just said that everyone has to show you some respect. I’m very interested to hear your thoughts on that!” Qin Tianxuan addressed the high-ranking military officer directly.

A buzz went through Minister Liu’s cousin’s head.

His rank was lower than even one of the Night Emperor’s Personal Guard Captains, yet here he was, face-to-face with the Night Emperor himself!

’That damn bastard, Minister Liu!’

The high-ranking military officer was so frightened he collapsed on the spot.

Minister Liu struggled over to him. ”Cousin? What’s wrong, cousin?”

BANG!

The high-ranking military officer used all his strength to kick him over. ”I... I have no relative like you! Who the hell are you?”

After roaring, the high-ranking officer rushed forward and started punching and kicking him furiously.

Qin Tianxuan waved his hand dismissively. Prince and the Personal Guard pulled them apart.

”It seems you’ve helped this cousin of yours out quite a bit over the years.” With that one sentence, Qin Tianxuan sealed the high-ranking military officer’s fate.

He hung his head, knowing his career was completely over.

As for Minister Liu, he had lost his last ounce of strength. He lay on the rooftop like a pile of sludge, able only to beg for mercy.

”This is a rooftop. Above is the sky, below is the ground. You’ve committed too many evils; there’s no point in begging.”

Qin Tianxuan put away the homework notebook. ”You like to talk about rules? Then let’s do this by the rules!”

Prince grabbed Minister Liu by the collar and dragged him directly to the edge of the rooftop.

The wind howled again. From this height, the vehicles on the ground looked like toys.

Minister Liu cried out and wet his pants on the spot.

Prince released him in disgust. ”Garbage. You pissed yourself already? I never said I was going to throw you off.”

Qin Tianxuan was already walking toward the stairwell. ”Isn’t he an investor in Linghai National Medicine? Break both his legs and dump him in front of their headquarters. Let Linghai National Medicine take care of him.”
