Celestial Night Emperor

Chapter 190: Chapter 190: Ye Mingzhu’s Disgrace

The source of Luo Tianying’s funds was quite simple.

It was divided into three parts.

One-tenth came from the financial support of the Imperial Capital’s Luo Family.

But the Luo Family was also at the end of its rope. The family ran its own commercial businesses in the Imperial Capital and was already facing a massive capital deficit.

The second part of Luo Tianying’s funds came from the support of the Divine Doctor Ye Family.

This portion was relatively small, also accounting for only one-tenth.

The Divine Doctor Ye Family was playing a clever game, planning to use Luo Tianying as their spearhead and have him take the lead for them.

Luo Tianying was, at best, a pawn they were using, so they wouldn’t give him too many resources.

Therefore, Luo Tianying’s largest source of funding was still a loan from the Silver Alliance.

A massive sum from the White Tiger Silver Alliance, one of the four great Silver Alliances.

”Sir, the investigation is complete. Look at this report. The reason the White Tiger Silver Alliance gave Luo Tianying so much money is because he mortgaged the entirety of Linghai Pharmaceutical to the Silver Alliance!”

Qin Tianxuan looked at the report, a glint in his eye. ”The White Tiger Silver Alliance? One of the four great Silver Alliances? This is getting interesting.”

Wang Hou also chuckled softly.

The four great Silver Alliances of the world?

Few people knew how the four great Silver Alliances had been established.

But the four great Silver Alliances, led by the Golden Sparrow, had gradually grown over the years, becoming financial meccas that drew the world’s attention.

In truth, Qin Tianxuan’s hand was behind the establishment of all four great Silver Alliances.

”Sir, how about I go talk to the person in charge of the White Tiger Silver Alliance first?”

Qin Tianxuan scoffed, ”Just have Ye Mingzhu go talk to them. It’s merely a branch of the White Tiger Silver Alliance. Does it really require an appearance from you, the God of Wealth?”

The order was immediately relayed to Ye Mingzhu, the CEO of the Longyue Group.

Ye Mingzhu didn’t dare to delay. This was, in fact, the first task Sir had given her since she took charge of the Longyue Group.

’I have to get this done right!’

Ye Mingzhu changed into professional attire, put on some light makeup, and went to the financial branch of the White Tiger Silver Alliance.

Even as the CEO of the Longyue Financial Group, Ye Mingzhu still had to wait outside.

There was no helping it. To any company or businessperson, the Silver Alliance was like a god.

They couldn’t care less what company’s boss you were.

Anyone who walked into this Silver Alliance branch was there to beg for an emergency loan.

Ye Mingzhu waited for a long time before a secretary-like figure finally came out and said coldly, ”Our White Tiger Silver Alliance branch’s Minister Liu will see you personally. Follow me.”

Ye Mingzhu was trembling with trepidation.

The vast hall and its solemn atmosphere made her a little scared.

When she arrived at the large office on the top floor, she saw a man in his fifties sitting on the sofa with his legs crossed, not even wearing shoes. Two beautiful female secretaries were beside him, serving tea and water.

’This branch minister of the White Tiger Silver Alliance is so full of himself!’

Minister Liu waved his hand, and the female secretaries hurriedly tidied up the coffee table, bowed, and withdrew.

Minister Liu looked up at Ye Mingzhu, his eyes lighting up.

He had heard quite a few rumors about this woman.

She was the former woman of the Black Dragon Bank’s boss, from a good background, and was said to be an elite who had returned from studying abroad.

’This kind of woman is the most tantalizing.’

Minister Liu loosened his tie and patted the seat beside him. ”Miss Ye, come have a seat.”

Having been through so much, how could Ye Mingzhu not understand what was on a man’s mind?

Seeing this, she arched an eyebrow. ”Minister Liu, I’m here to discuss business. It’s about Luo Tianying using his power to bully others and seize the property of innocent merchants in Jinling.”

Minister Liu was furious inside.

’Fucking bitch. You used to be Jin Longhai’s mistress, and now you’re trying to act all prim and proper in front of me?’

He leaped to his feet, strode over to Ye Mingzhu, and reached out to touch her face.

”Miss Ye, you’re the executive of the Longyue Group now? You’re here to ask me for a loan, right? Great. I’m bored right now. Why don’t you have a drink with me?”

He was completely shameless, his eyes filled with desire.

Ye Mingzhu backed away repeatedly. ”Minister Liu, I’m here to warn you that the loan your Silver Alliance gave to the Luo Family is very risky. For the sake of your alliance’s interests, I suggest you investigate Luo Tianying’s actions...”

Minister Liu’s hand reached for her again as he panted heavily, completely unabashed. ”We can talk about that later. You put on makeup and dressed so beautifully to see me. Isn’t it because you want to make a deal!”

”Minister Liu, have some self-respect!” Ye Mingzhu was no longer the same woman she used to be. She angrily swung her hand for a slap.

Minister Liu dodged it nimbly, his expression changing. ”Guards!”

Security guards appeared and immediately restrained Ye Mingzhu.

Straightening his clothes, Minister Liu sneered, ”Let me make this clear to you. I have my own personal shares in Linghai National Medicine! Understand? Why would I help you deal with Young Master Luo? I think there’s something wrong with your head!”

Ye Mingzhu struggled. ”I came on the orders of Sir Wang Hou!”

Wang Hou!

Minister Liu shuddered but quickly calmed down. ”Bullshit! The Wealth God Prince? Don’t try to scare me with the Marquis’s name. Heh, even if the Marquis himself were standing right here, I’d still say the same thing. Since when does an outsider get to meddle in the White Tiger Silver Alliance’s investments?”

After speaking, he raised his hand and gave Ye Mingzhu four hard slaps across the face.

”This woman came here to seduce me. I rejected her, and she flew into a rage out of shame and was rude to me. Did you all see that?”

Minister Liu roared.

The subordinates from the White Tiger Silver Alliance knew exactly what was going on, but they could only play along.

”Yes, this woman is so shameless!”

”Publicize it! Let all of Jinling know what a shameless woman the female boss of the Longyue Group is!”

”She used to be the kept woman of that Jin Longhai! Ptooey! Who in Jinling doesn’t know that?”

Ye Mingzhu took a vicious beating and, bearing extreme humiliation, was thrown out of the White Tiger Silver Alliance’s building.

The people from the White Tiger Silver Alliance even took photos and forced Ye Mingzhu’s hand to put a thumbprint on a ”confession letter.”

Ye Mingzhu picked herself up from the road, utterly consumed by despair.
