Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Capítulo 2016: Chapter 2016: We Can Date

Then, the three people entered Li Mingxi’s home.

Li Mingxi immediately felt overwhelmed, two men in her house, what was this?

She asked them to leave, but neither would; they both waited for the other to leave.

Li Mingxi simply drove them both out.

Then, feeling dazed, she went to the bathroom to shower, and when she came out intending to sleep, she heard the doorbell ring.

Li Mingxi was very puzzled, not knowing who could have come.

She walked to the door and found that the person standing outside was Xiao Lang.

It seemed the snow outside had gotten heavy; there were still unmelted snowflakes on Xiao Lang’s head and shoulders.

“Weren’t you leaving?” Li Mingxi asked in astonishment.

Xiao Lang walked into the room, sat down on the sofa, and looked at her, asking coolly, “Are you really going to date that man?”

Li Mingxi was slightly stunned; he came just to ask this.

“Why do you want to know?” Li Mingxi wrapped her arms around herself, her expression indifferent.

“You’re not suitable for him,” Xiao Lang replied evasively, “You don’t like him, and he isn’t right for you. Forcing yourselves together will only make you unhappy.”

Li Mingxi felt a little like laughing, “How do you know we’re not suitable for each other?”

“You don’t like him,” Xiao Lang answered.

Li Mingxi, a bit exasperated, laughed flirtatiously in her anger, “How do you know I don’t like him? Do you think I still like you? I don’t like you anymore, so stop flattering yourself! Now I want to rest, you can leave!”

Xiao Lang looked her in the eye, seriously saying, “If you’re willing, we can date.”

“…” Li Mingxi’s mind went blank for a moment.

What was he saying?!

Xiao Lang stood up and said again, “Can we try dating?”

She must be hallucinating.

A man who hasn’t been interested in her for five years suddenly says he wants to date her—who would believe it?!

Li Mingxi rubbed her forehead, “I’ve had too much to drink; I can’t hear what you’re saying clearly. Please leave, let’s talk another day.”

Xiao Lang stepped forward and grasped her shoulders with both hands.

Li Mingxi looked up, meeting his deep, dark eyes.

“I’m serious, we can try dating,” he said, word by word.

So she wasn’t hallucinating?

Li Mingxi’s heartbeat suddenly became erratic, but she quickly calmed down.

“Why do you have this sudden thought?” she asked back, not being carried away by his words.

She knew better than anyone that Xiao Lang wasn’t someone who easily changed his mind.

He liked Jian Yufei so much, how could he change his feelings so quickly?

So she really wanted to know why he made this decision.

Xiao Lang pressed his lips lightly, “I think it might be better for both you and me. Maybe we can try, maybe we’re suitable for each other.”

This answer made Li Mingxi quite satisfied, but she wasn’t touched.

She asked generously with a smile, “Is it because Jian Yufei got married today, and you’re feeling troubled? So you want to prove you don’t need her, that you can start a new relationship too?”

Xiao Lang’s expression changed slightly, “I don’t deny that I indeed have such thoughts.”

Li Mingxi’s smile became a bit forced, “What kinds of feelings do you have for me?”

Xiao Lang was silent for a moment before saying, “I have a good feeling about you, and also, I like seeing your smile.”

She’s always smiling so brilliantly and passionately; whenever he sees her smile, he feels the world is filled with sunshine.

He wants to keep seeing her smile and selfishly wants to own her smile.
